भोजपुर (गाज़ियाबाद): गाज़ियाबाद के भोजपुर थाना क्षेत्र में दिल्ली-मेरठ एक्सप्रेसवे (DME) पर एक दुर्घटनाग्रस्त i20 कार से करीब 100 किलोग्राम संदिग्ध पशु मांस बरामद होने से हड़कंप मच गया। हादसे के बाद वाहन चालक मौके से फरार हो गया, जिसके बाद पुलिस ने मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी है।
प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार, दिल्ली-मेरठ एक्सप्रेसवे पर एक i20 कार दुर्घटनाग्रस्त अवस्था में खड़ी मिली। राहगीरों ने संदिग्ध स्थिति देखकर पुलिस को सूचना दी। सूचना मिलते ही भोजपुर थाना पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और वाहन की तलाशी ली।
तलाशी के दौरान कार से लगभग 100 किलोग्राम संदिग्ध पशु मांस और पशु अवशेष बरामद हुए। बरामदगी के बाद पुलिस ने पशु चिकित्सक विभाग की टीम को मौके पर बुलाया। विशेषज्ञ टीम ने मांस के नमूने जांच के लिए सुरक्षित किए और आवश्यक प्रक्रिया पूरी करने के बाद शेष मांस तथा पशु अवशेषों को नियमानुसार दफना दिया।
पुलिस ने अज्ञात चालक और वाहन मालिक के खिलाफ मुकदमा दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है। वाहन से जुड़े दस्तावेजों की जांच की जा रही है और आसपास लगे सीसीटीवी कैमरों की फुटेज भी खंगाली जा रही है ताकि फरार चालक की पहचान की जा सके।
पुलिस अधिकारियों के अनुसार, लैब जांच रिपोर्ट आने के बाद ही बरामद मांस की वास्तविक प्रकृति स्पष्ट हो सकेगी। रिपोर्ट के आधार पर आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
इस घटना के बाद क्षेत्र में चर्चाओं का दौर शुरू हो गया है। पुलिस सभी पहलुओं को ध्यान में रखते हुए मामले की गहन जांच कर रही है।

The driver reportedly fled the scene after the accident, leaving the vehicle behind.
According to police sources, the accident-hit vehicle was found abandoned on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway. Passersby noticed the suspicious condition of the car and informed the police.
Upon reaching the spot, the police conducted a search of the vehicle and recovered nearly 100 kilograms of suspected animal meat along with animal remains. Following the recovery, officials from the Veterinary Department were called to the scene.
The veterinary team collected samples of the recovered meat for laboratory examination. After completing the required procedures, the remaining meat and animal remains were disposed of according to official guidelines.
