बहुमत से अभी 6 सीट दूर TVK
तमिलनाडु विधानसभा में बहुमत के लिए 118 सीटों की जरूरत है। TVK सबसे बड़ी पार्टी बनकर उभरी है, लेकिन कांग्रेस के समर्थन के बाद भी पार्टी 112 सीटों तक ही पहुंच पाई है। यानी सरकार बनाने के लिए अभी 6 सीटों की कमी है। कांग्रेस ने TVK को समर्थन देने का ऐलान किया है, लेकिन अन्य पार्टियों और निर्दलीय विधायकों का रुख अभी साफ नहीं है। VCK जैसी पार्टियां भी अपने फैसले पर विचार कर रही हैं।
चुनाव में DMK को 59 और AIADMK को 47 सीटें मिलीं। अन्य दलों में PMK को 4, IUML को 2, CPI और CPI(M) को 2-2 सीटें मिलीं, जबकि BJP समेत अन्य दलों को 1-1 सीट मिली।

TVK की जीत ने राज्य की राजनीति में बड़ा बदलाव ला दिया है और दशकों से चले आ रहे DMK-AIADMK के वर्चस्व को खत्म कर दिया है।

TVK Still 6 Seats Short of Majority
A total of 118 seats are required for a majority in the Tamil Nadu Assembly. TVK has emerged as the single-largest party, but even after receiving support from the Congress, it has only reached 112 seats. This means it still needs 6 more seats to form the government.
While the Congress has announced its support for TVK, the stance of other parties and independent candidates is still unclear. Parties like VCK are also deliberating on their decision.
In the election results, DMK won 59 seats and AIADMK secured 47. Among other parties, PMK got 4 seats, IUML 2, CPI and CPI(M) 2 each, while BJP and other smaller parties won 1 seat each.
