Ghaziabad cash van robbery : गाजियाबाद में 27 लाख रुपये की कैश वैन लूट मामले में पुलिस ने बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए दो बदमाशों को एनकाउंटर में मार गिराया। मारे गए बदमाशों की पहचान समीर और जुबेर के रूप में हुई है। दोनों पर एक-एक लाख रुपये का इनाम घोषित था। पुलिस के अनुसार, जुबेर इस लूटकांड का मास्टरमाइंड था।
यह एनकाउंटर वेव सिटी थाना क्षेत्र में मंगलवार रात हुआ। पुलिस को सूचना मिली थी कि बदमाश किसी बड़ी वारदात को अंजाम देने की फिराक में हैं। घेराबंदी के दौरान संदिग्ध स्विफ्ट कार दिखाई दी। पुलिस ने रोकने की कोशिश की तो बदमाशों ने फायरिंग शुरू कर दी। जवाबी कार्रवाई में दोनों बदमाश मारे गए, जबकि दो आरोपी मौके से फरार हो गए।
27 लाख रुपये की हुई थी लूट
6 मई को क्रॉसिंग रिपब्लिक क्षेत्र में एक्सप्रेसवे के पास इंडिया वन ATM बूथ में कैश डालने पहुंचे कर्मचारियों से बदमाशों ने 27 लाख रुपये लूट लिए थे। गार्ड और कर्मचारी ATM में कैश डालने गए थे, तभी बदमाशों ने ड्राइवर को तमंचे के बल पर बंधक बना लिया और कैश वैन लेकर फरार हो गए। करीब दो घंटे बाद पुलिस ने कैश वैन को मसूरी थाना क्षेत्र से बरामद कर लिया था, लेकिन उसमें रखी रकम गायब थी।
शुरुआत में पुलिस को कैश वैन ड्राइवर और कर्मचारियों पर शक हुआ था, क्योंकि उनके बयान अलग-अलग मिले थे। पुलिस को अंदरूनी मिलीभगत की आशंका भी हुई। हालांकि CCTV फुटेज और जांच के बाद साफ हो गया कि वारदात बाहरी बदमाशों ने अंजाम दी थी।
पुलिस ने बरामद किए हथियार और कैश
DCP धवल जायसवाल के अनुसार, पुलिस ने बदमाशों के पास से 9 लाख 10 हजार रुपये नकद, दो पिस्टल, दो तमंचे और वारदात में इस्तेमाल स्विफ्ट कार बरामद की है। पुलिस अब फरार आरोपियों शोएब और फिरोज की तलाश में लगातार दबिश दे रही है।
सबूत मिटाने के लिए तोड़े CCTV कैमरे
पुलिस जांच में सामने आया कि बदमाशों ने कैश वैन में लगे CCTV कैमरे और DVR को कुल्हाड़ी से तोड़ दिया था, ताकि कोई सबूत न बच सके। पुलिस का कहना है कि पूरी वारदात रेकी और प्लानिंग के बाद अंजाम दी गई थी। पुलिस के मुताबिक, जुबेर विजय नगर में बांस-बल्ली की दुकान चलाता था। उसका भाई शोएब कपड़ों का कारोबार करता है। वहीं फिरोज कॉस्मेटिक सामान सप्लाई का काम करता था। पुलिस फरार आरोपियों की गिरफ्तारी के लिए 5 टीमें लगाकर छापेमारी कर रही है।

Ghaziabad cash van robbery : In a major breakthrough in the ₹27 lakh cash van robbery case in Ghaziabad, police killed two criminals during an encounter. The deceased were identified as Sameer and Zuber, both carrying a reward of ₹1 lakh each. According to police, Zuber was the mastermind behind the robbery. The encounter took place late Tuesday night in the Wave City police station area. Police had received intelligence that the accused were planning another major crime. During checking, a suspicious Swift car was spotted. When police attempted to stop the vehicle, the criminals opened fire. In retaliatory firing, both accused were killed, while two others managed to escape.
₹27 Lakh Looted from Cash Van
The robbery took place on May 6 near an India One ATM booth along the expressway in the Crossing Republik area. The accused targeted employees who had arrived to deposit cash into the ATM. While the guard and staff entered the ATM kiosk, the robbers held the driver hostage at gunpoint and fled with the cash van. About two hours later, police recovered the cash van from the Masuri police station area, but the money was missing. Initially, police suspected the cash van driver and employees due to inconsistencies in their statements, raising concerns of insider involvement. However, CCTV footage and further investigation later confirmed that external criminals had executed the robbery.
Weapons and Cash Recovered
According to DCP Dhawal Jaiswal, police recovered ₹9.10 lakh in cash, two pistols, two country-made firearms, and the Swift car used in the crime. Police teams are continuing raids to arrest the absconding accused, Shoaib and Firoz.
CCTV Cameras Destroyed to Erase Evidence
During the investigation, police found that the robbers had destroyed the CCTV cameras and DVR installed inside the cash van using an axe in an attempt to erase evidence. Officials stated that the robbery was carried out after proper reconnaissance and detailed planning.
Police said that Zuber operated a bamboo and scaffolding shop in Vijay Nagar. His brother Shoaib runs a clothing business, while Firoz works as a cosmetics supplier. Five police teams have been formed to track down the remaining accused.
