PM Modi Slovakia : प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने स्लोवाकिया की राजधानी ब्रातिस्लावा पहुंचकर इतिहास रच दिया है। वर्ष 1993 में चेकोस्लोवाकिया के विभाजन के बाद स्वतंत्र बने स्लोवाकिया का दौरा करने वाले मोदी पहले भारतीय प्रधानमंत्री बन गए हैं।
प्रधानमंत्री मोदी का यह दौरा भारत और स्लोवाकिया के बीच व्यापार, निवेश, ऑटोमोबाइल निर्माण, रेलवे तकनीक और औद्योगिक सहयोग को नई दिशा देने के उद्देश्य से किया जा रहा है।
ब्रातिस्लावा पहुंचने पर प्रधानमंत्री मोदी का पारंपरिक स्लोवाक रीति-रिवाजों के साथ स्वागत किया गया। उन्हें सम्मान स्वरूप ब्रेड और नमक भेंट किया गया, जो स्लोवाक संस्कृति में अतिथि सत्कार का प्रतीक माना जाता है। इस अवसर पर प्रसिद्ध लुस्निका एंसेंबल द्वारा भारत के राष्ट्रीय गीत “वंदे मातरम्” की प्रस्तुति भी दी गई।
भारत के विदेश मंत्रालय के अनुसार, यह यात्रा दोनों देशों के बीच रणनीतिक और आर्थिक सहयोग को और मजबूत करने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण कदम है। मोदी ने सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म एक्स पर कहा कि यह दौरा भारत और स्लोवाकिया के संबंधों को नई ऊंचाइयों तक पहुंचाने और सहयोग के नए अवसर तलाशने का अवसर प्रदान करेगा।
स्लोवाकिया और भारत के बीच राजनयिक संबंध 1993 में स्थापित हुए थे, जब चेकोस्लोवाकिया दो स्वतंत्र देशों—चेक गणराज्य और स्लोवाकिया—में विभाजित हुआ था। पिछले तीन दशकों में दोनों देशों के संबंध लगातार मजबूत हुए हैं और अब यह दौरा उन्हें नई गति देने का काम करेगा।
प्रधानमंत्री मोदी की यह यात्रा फ्रांस के नीस शहर में फ्रांसीसी राष्ट्रपति इमैनुएल मैक्रों के साथ द्विपक्षीय वार्ता के बाद शुरू हुई है। विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि यह दौरा भारत की यूरोप में बढ़ती रणनीतिक उपस्थिति और आर्थिक साझेदारी को और मजबूत करेगा।
भारत और स्लोवाकिया के बीच बढ़ते सहयोग से ऑटोमोबाइल, रेलवे, रक्षा, प्रौद्योगिकी और निवेश के क्षेत्रों में नए अवसर पैदा होने की उम्मीद है। दोनों देशों के बीच व्यापारिक संबंधों के विस्तार से भारतीय कंपनियों को मध्य यूरोप के बाजारों तक बेहतर पहुंच मिल सकती है।
PM Narendra Modi Visits Slovakia, Aims to Strengthen India-Slovakia Relations
Bratislava, Slovakia: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made history by becoming the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Slovakia since the country gained independence following the peaceful dissolution of Czechoslovakia in 1993.
The landmark visit is focused on strengthening bilateral ties between India and Slovakia, particularly in trade, investment, automobile manufacturing, railway technology, and industrial cooperation.
Upon his arrival in Bratislava, PM Modi received a traditional Slovak welcome, including the ceremonial offering of bread and salt, a symbol of hospitality in Slovak culture. The renowned Lucnica Ensemble also performed India’s national song “Vande Mataram” to honor the visiting leader.
According to India’s Ministry of External Affairs, the visit is expected to open new avenues for economic and strategic cooperation between the two nations. Taking to social media platform X, Modi said the visit provides an opportunity to deepen India-Slovakia relations and explore fresh areas of collaboration.
Diplomatic relations between India and Slovakia were established in 1993 after the division of Czechoslovakia into the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Over the past three decades, the two countries have maintained friendly relations, and the current visit is expected to elevate the partnership further.
The Slovak leg of Modi’s European tour follows his bilateral discussions with French President Emmanuel Macron in Nice, France. Analysts believe the visit highlights India’s growing engagement with Central Europe and its broader strategy of strengthening economic and diplomatic partnerships across the continent.
The visit is likely to boost cooperation in sectors such as automotive manufacturing, railways, technology, defense, and investment. Enhanced trade relations could also provide Indian businesses with greater access to Central European markets.
