UP weather update : देशभर में मौसम का दोहरा असर देखने को मिल रहा है। उत्तर प्रदेश में तेज आंधी-तूफान और बारिश ने भारी तबाही मचाई है, जबकि राजस्थान और मध्य प्रदेश भीषण गर्मी और हीटवेव की चपेट में हैं। उत्तर प्रदेश के प्रयागराज, अयोध्या समेत 30 जिलों में आंधी-तूफान से अब तक 104 लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है। सबसे ज्यादा 21 मौतें प्रयागराज और 17 मौतें भदोही में दर्ज की गईं।
UP में 80kmph की आंधी, कई जिलों में तबाही
उत्तर प्रदेश में 80 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से चली आंधी ने कई जिलों में भारी नुकसान पहुंचाया। बरेली में तेज हवा के कारण एक व्यक्ति टिनशेड समेत हवा में उड़ गया। कई जगह पेड़ और बिजली के खंभे गिर गए, जबकि दर्जनों वाहन क्षतिग्रस्त हुए। मौसम विभाग ने आज राज्य के 51 जिलों में तेज आंधी और बारिश का अलर्ट जारी किया है। बांदा में तापमान 45.4°C दर्ज किया गया।
राजस्थान और MP में हीटवेव का रेड अलर्ट
राजस्थान में लगातार चौथे दिन जैसलमेर देश का सबसे गर्म शहर रहा, जहां तापमान 46.1°C रिकॉर्ड किया गया। मौसम विभाग ने बीकानेर, जोधपुर, जैसलमेर और बाड़मेर में रेड अलर्ट जारी किया है। वहीं मध्य प्रदेश के 25 से ज्यादा जिले हीटवेव की चपेट में हैं। खजुराहो में तापमान 45.4°C तक पहुंच गया। इंदौर, उज्जैन, धार और रतलाम में ऑरेंज अलर्ट जारी किया गया है।
बिहार, उत्तराखंड और पूर्वोत्तर राज्यों में बारिश का अलर्ट
बिहार के पूर्णिया और कटिहार समेत कई जिलों में तेज बारिश और बिजली गिरने का ऑरेंज अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। उत्तराखंड के पहाड़ी इलाकों में बारिश और ऊंचाई वाले क्षेत्रों में बर्फबारी की संभावना जताई गई है। वहीं असम, मेघालय, केरल और कर्नाटक समेत कई राज्यों में गरज-चमक और तेज हवाओं का अनुमान है।
15 और 16 मई को राजस्थान, गुजरात, महाराष्ट्र और मध्य प्रदेश में हीटवेव जारी रहने की संभावना है। पंजाब, हरियाणा, दिल्ली और पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश में तेज हवाओं और बारिश का अनुमान है। मौसम विभाग ने लोगों को सतर्क रहने और अनावश्यक यात्रा से बचने की सलाह दी है।
Storm Havoc in UP: 104 Dead, Heatwave Conditions Worsen in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh
UP weather update : India is currently witnessing extreme weather conditions in different regions. While severe storms and heavy rainfall have caused major destruction in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh are battling intense heatwave conditions. In Uttar Pradesh alone, 104 people have lost their lives due to storms and rain across 30 districts including Prayagraj and Ayodhya. Prayagraj reported the highest number of deaths at 21, followed by 17 deaths in Bhadohi.
80kmph Storm Winds Cause Destruction Across UP
Strong winds reaching speeds of 80 kmph caused widespread damage in several districts of Uttar Pradesh. In Bareilly, a man was reportedly lifted into the air along with a tin shed due to the powerful storm. Trees and electric poles collapsed in many areas, damaging several vehicles. The Meteorological Department has issued a storm and rain alert for 51 districts in the state. Banda recorded a temperature of 45.4°C.
Red Alert for Heatwave in Rajasthan and MP
Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer remained the hottest city in the country for the fourth consecutive day, recording a temperature of 46.1°C. The weather department has issued a red alert for Bikaner, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, and Barmer. Meanwhile, more than 25 districts in Madhya Pradesh are under the grip of a severe heatwave. Khajuraho recorded 45.4°C, while orange alerts have been issued for Indore, Ujjain, Dhar, and Ratlam.
Rain Alert in Bihar, Uttarakhand, and Northeastern States
An orange alert for heavy rainfall and lightning has been issued in several districts of Bihar, including Purnia and Katihar. Uttarakhand’s hilly areas may witness rainfall and snowfall at higher altitudes. States like Assam, Meghalaya, Kerala, and Karnataka are also expected to experience thunderstorms and strong winds.
The weather department has warned that heatwave conditions may continue in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh on May 15 and 16, while rain and strong winds are expected in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and western Uttar Pradesh. People have been advised to remain cautious and avoid unnecessary travel.
