ABVP Modinagar Protest : लखनऊ के अलीगंज स्थित एक कोचिंग सेंटर में 22 जून 2026 को हुए भीषण अग्निकांड के बाद अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद (एबीवीपी) ने मोदीनगर में कोचिंग संस्थानों और लाइब्रेरी की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को लेकर प्रदर्शन किया। परिषद के कार्यकर्ताओं ने मोदीनगर के एसडीएम एवं एसीपी को ज्ञापन सौंपकर सभी शिक्षण संस्थानों में सुरक्षा मानकों का कड़ाई से पालन सुनिश्चित करने की मांग की।
ज्ञापन में कहा गया कि मोदीनगर तहसील क्षेत्र में संचालित कई कोचिंग संस्थानों एवं लाइब्रेरी में सुरक्षा मानकों की नियमित जांच आवश्यक है। एबीवीपी ने प्रशासन से मांग की कि अगले सात दिनों के भीतर सभी संस्थानों में अग्निशमन उपकरण, आपातकालीन निकास द्वार, विद्युत सुरक्षा और अन्य आवश्यक सुरक्षा व्यवस्थाएं सुनिश्चित की जाएं।
परिषद ने यह भी मांग की कि सुरक्षा नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वाले संस्थानों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की जाए तथा आवश्यकता पड़ने पर उनका पंजीकरण निरस्त किया जाए। साथ ही प्रशासन द्वारा समय-समय पर सुरक्षा मानकों की जांच भी की जाए।
एबीवीपी के प्रांत सहसंयोजक रजत मोघा और जिला संयोजिका शताक्षी वशिष्ठ ने कहा कि विद्यार्थियों की सुरक्षा सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता होनी चाहिए और इसके साथ किसी प्रकार का समझौता स्वीकार नहीं किया जाएगा। उन्होंने प्रशासन को चेतावनी देते हुए कहा कि यदि सात दिनों के भीतर सुरक्षा मानकों का पालन सुनिश्चित नहीं किया गया तो परिषद उग्र आंदोलन एवं तालाबंदी करने के लिए बाध्य होगी, जिसकी पूरी जिम्मेदारी स्थानीय प्रशासन की होगी।
ज्ञापन सौंपने के दौरान भूमि कश्यप, प्रशांत वर्मा, लक्ष्य कौशिक, कुणाल ठाकुर, सागर, विशु, लव, तुषार, आशीष, शिवम, हर्षित, अंकुश, अभिजीत, कारण, योगेश, सौरभ, अखिल, राहुल, अमन सहित बड़ी संख्या में कार्यकर्ता उपस्थित रहे।

Student Organization Demands Strict Safety Compliance in Coaching Institutes Within 7 Days
Modinagar, Ghaziabad: Following the devastating fire incident at a coaching center in Aliganj, Lucknow, on June 22, 2026, in which more than 14 students reportedly lost their lives and several others were injured, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) staged a protest in Modinagar demanding improved safety measures in coaching institutes and libraries.
A delegation of ABVP members submitted a memorandum to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) and Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), urging the administration to ensure strict compliance with safety standards across all educational institutions in the region.
In the memorandum, ABVP highlighted the need for regular inspections of coaching centers and libraries operating within the Modinagar tehsil area. The organization demanded that all institutions install and maintain essential safety measures, including fire safety equipment, emergency exits, electrical safety systems, and disaster preparedness protocols within the next seven days.
The student body also called for strict action against institutions found violating safety norms. ABVP urged the administration to cancel registrations of non-compliant institutes and hold responsible authorities accountable.
ABVP Provincial Co-Coordinator Rajat Mogha and District Coordinator Shatakshi Vashishtha stated that student safety cannot be compromised under any circumstances. They warned that if safety standards are not implemented within seven days, the organization would be compelled to launch an intensified agitation and lockout movement, holding the local administration responsible for any consequences.
Several ABVP members and activists, including Bhumi Kashyap, Prashant Verma, Lakshya Kaushik, Kunal Thakur, Sagar, Vishu, Lav, Tushar, Ashish, Shivam, Harshit, Ankush, Abhijeet, Karan, Yogesh, Saurabh, Akhil, Rahul, and Aman, were present during the memorandum submission.
