गाजियाबाद/मोदीनगर। कद्राबाद क्षेत्र की चौकी अंतर्गत रोरी गांव से गोविंदपुरी मार्ग पर गुरुवार शाम करीब 7 बजे तेज रफ्तार अर्टिगा कार ने बाइक और टेंपो को टक्कर मार दी। हादसे में करीब पांच से छह लोग घायल हो गए। सभी घायलों को उपचार के लिए गोविंदपुरी सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र (सीएचसी) में भर्ती कराया गया, जहां उनका इलाज चल रहा है।
पहले बाइक सवार को मारी टक्कर, फिर टेंपो में घुसी अर्टिगा
स्थानीय लोगों के अनुसार, अज्ञात अर्टिगा कार रोरी गांव से गोविंदपुरी की ओर जा रही थी। प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों का कहना है कि कार चालक काफी तेज गति से वाहन चला रहा था। आरोप है कि कार ने सबसे पहले एक बाइक सवार को टक्कर मारी।
इसके बाद चालक ने कार को तेजी से पीछे किया और फिर आगे बढ़ते हुए सामने जा रहे टेंपो को पीछे से जोरदार टक्कर मार दी। टक्कर इतनी जबरदस्त थी कि टेंपो में सवार कई लोग घायल हो गए।
हादसे में कई लोग घायल
हादसे में टेंपो चालक नीरज (33), निवासी रोरी गांव, के सिर में गंभीर चोट आई है। वहीं कशिश (18) के चेहरे पर चोट लगी है, जबकि कुणाल (14) के पैर में हल्की चोट आई। पप्पू (35) के हाथ और सिर में गंभीर चोटें बताई जा रही हैं।
बताया गया कि कशिश, कुणाल और पप्पू रोरी गांव में कोथली देने आए थे और शाम को वापस लौट रहे थे। इसी दौरान उनका टेंपो अर्टिगा कार की चपेट में आ गया।
ग्रामीणों ने लगाया नशे में वाहन चलाने का आरोप
ग्रामीणों का आरोप है कि अर्टिगा कार में सवार कुछ लोग शराब के नशे में दिखाई दे रहे थे। लोगों के मुताबिक कार चालक लापरवाही से बेहद तेज गति में वाहन चला रहा था।
ग्रामीणों ने बताया कि रोरी से गोविंदपुरी जाने वाला मार्ग संकरा सिंगल रोड है। इस सड़क पर दोनों दिशाओं से वाहनों का आवागमन होता है, जिसके कारण यहां दुर्घटना की आशंका बनी रहती है।
पुलिस से कार्रवाई की मांग
हादसे के बाद आसपास के लोग मौके पर पहुंचे और घायलों को तत्काल गोविंदपुरी सीएचसी पहुंचाया। ग्रामीणों ने पुलिस से अज्ञात अर्टिगा कार चालक की पहचान कर उसके खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई करने की मांग की है।
समाचार लिखे जाने तक अर्टिगा कार चालक की पहचान नहीं हो सकी थी। पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही थी।
Modinagar Road Accident: Speeding Ertiga Hits Bike and Tempo, 5-6 Injured
Ghaziabad/Modinagar: A major road accident was reported on Thursday evening on the Rori village-Govindpuri road under the Kadrabad police outpost area. At around 7 PM, a speeding Maruti Ertiga allegedly hit a motorcycle and later rammed into a tempo from behind. Around five to six people were injured in the accident.
The injured were immediately taken to the Govindpuri Community Health Centre (CHC) for treatment, where they are currently undergoing medical care.
Speeding Ertiga First Hit Bike, Then Tempo
According to local residents, the unidentified Ertiga was travelling from Rori village towards Govindpuri. Eyewitnesses claimed that the driver was driving at a very high speed.
The car allegedly first hit a motorcycle rider. After that, the driver reportedly reversed the vehicle at speed and then moved forward again, hitting a tempo travelling ahead. The impact was strong, leaving several tempo passengers injured.
Several People Injured in Accident
The tempo driver, Neeraj (33), a resident of Rori village, suffered serious injuries to his head.
Other injured people include:
- Kashish (18): Injuries to the face
- Kunal (14): Minor injury to the leg
- Pappu (35): Serious injuries to the hand and head
According to the information available, Kashish, Kunal and Pappu had come to Rori village to deliver kothli and were returning in the evening when their tempo was hit by the Ertiga.
Locals Allege Drunk Driving
Local residents alleged that some people travelling in the Ertiga appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. They also accused the driver of driving recklessly and at excessive speed.
Residents said the Rori-Govindpuri road is a narrow single road where vehicles travelling in both directions use the same stretch. According to them, the narrow road increases the risk of accidents.
Police Investigation Underway
Following the accident, local residents rushed to the spot and helped transport the injured to Govindpuri CHC.
Villagers have demanded that police identify the Ertiga driver and take strict action against those responsible.
As of the time of writing, the identity of the Ertiga driver had not been established. Police are investigating the incident.
