Delhi Restaurant Fire : दिल्ली के मालवीय नगर स्थित लेमन ग्रीन रेस्टोरेंट में बुधवार सुबह भीषण आग लगने से बड़ा हादसा हो गया। आग की चपेट में आने से अब तक 20 लोगों की मौत की पुष्टि हो चुकी है, जबकि कई अन्य गंभीर रूप से घायल बताए जा रहे हैं। मृतकों में कुछ विदेशी नागरिक भी शामिल होने की जानकारी सामने आई है। हादसे के बाद पूरे इलाके में अफरा-तफरी मच गई और बड़ी संख्या में राहत एवं बचाव दल मौके पर पहुंचा।
37 लोगों को सुरक्षित निकाला गया, कई की हालत गंभीर
दिल्ली फायर सर्विस को सुबह करीब 9:45 बजे आग लगने की सूचना मिली। इसके बाद दमकल विभाग की 10 गाड़ियां मौके पर पहुंचीं और घंटों की मशक्कत के बाद आग पर काबू पाया गया। रेस्क्यू टीम ने अब तक 37 लोगों को सुरक्षित बाहर निकाला है, जबकि बेसमेंट से भी तीन लोगों को बचाया गया। कई घायलों की हालत गंभीर बनी हुई है, जिसके चलते मृतकों की संख्या बढ़ने की आशंका जताई जा रही है।
जान बचाने के लिए बालकनी और खिड़कियों से कूदे लोग
प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार आग तेजी से पूरे भवन में फैल गई, जिससे बाहर निकलने के रास्ते बंद हो गए। अपनी जान बचाने के लिए कई लोगों को बालकनी और खिड़कियों से नीचे कूदना पड़ा। स्थानीय लोगों ने नीचे गद्दे बिछाकर लोगों की मदद की। इस दौरान कई लोग घायल भी हुए। प्रशासन का कहना है कि समय रहते राहत कार्य शुरू होने से कई जिंदगियां बचाई जा सकीं।
लाइसेंस और सुरक्षा नियमों की जांच शुरू
प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों के मुताबिक प्रारंभिक जांच में सामने आया है कि होटल किसी अन्य लाइसेंस के आधार पर संचालित किया जा रहा था। आग पर नियंत्रण पाने के लिए बिजली आपूर्ति भी बंद करनी पड़ी। एसडीएम ने घटना की जांच के आदेश देते हुए कहा है कि सुरक्षा नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वालों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी। साथ ही रिहायशी इलाकों में चल रहे होटल और रेस्टोरेंट की भी जांच की जाएगी।
हादसे के कारणों की जांच जारी
फिलहाल आग लगने के वास्तविक कारणों का पता नहीं चल पाया है। फायर विभाग, पुलिस और अन्य जांच एजेंसियां घटनास्थल से साक्ष्य जुटा रही हैं। प्रशासन ने मृतकों के परिजनों को हर संभव सहायता देने का आश्वासन दिया है। वहीं, इस दर्दनाक हादसे ने राजधानी में भवन सुरक्षा और अग्नि सुरक्षा व्यवस्थाओं पर गंभीर सवाल खड़े कर दिए हैं।

Delhi Restaurant Fire : A major tragedy struck Delhi’s Malviya Nagar area on Wednesday morning when a massive fire broke out at the Lemon Green Restaurant. So far, 20 people have been confirmed dead, while several others are reported to be critically injured. According to reports, some foreign nationals are also among the victims. The incident created panic in the area as rescue and emergency teams rushed to the spot.

The Delhi Fire Service received information about the fire at around 9:45 AM. Soon after, 10 fire tenders were deployed to the location, and after hours of firefighting efforts, the blaze was brought under control. Rescue teams have successfully evacuated 37 people from the building, including three individuals rescued from the basement. Authorities fear that the death toll may rise as several injured victims remain in critical condition.
People Jumped from Balconies and Windows to Escape
Eyewitnesses said the fire spread rapidly throughout the building, leaving occupants with no safe exit routes. In an attempt to save their lives, several people jumped from balconies and windows. Local residents placed mattresses on the ground to help reduce injuries. Despite these efforts, many people were hurt while trying to escape. Officials stated that timely rescue operations helped save numerous lives.
Investigation Into License and Safety Violations Begins
According to administrative officials, preliminary investigations suggest that the establishment may have been operating under a different license. Power supply to the building was disconnected to help firefighters control the blaze. The SDM has ordered a detailed inquiry and stated that strict action will be taken against anyone found violating safety regulations. Authorities have also decided to inspect hotels and restaurants operating in residential areas.
Cause of the Fire Still Under Investigation
The exact cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Fire department officials, police, and other investigative agencies are collecting evidence from the site. The administration has assured all possible assistance to the families of the victims. The tragic incident has once again raised serious concerns about building safety standards and fire safety compliance in the national capital.
