Muradnagar Ganganahar Incident : गाजियाबाद के प्रताप विहार निवासी 29 वर्षीय हरमीत सिंह भाटिया ने इंसानियत और बहादुरी की मिसाल पेश करते हुए एक डूबते बच्चे की जान बचा ली। हालांकि बच्चे को सुरक्षित बाहर निकालने के बाद वह खुद मुरादनगर गंगनहर के तेज बहाव में फंस गए और लापता हो गए। घटना के बाद इलाके में चिंता का माहौल है और युवक की तलाश लगातार जारी है।
बच्चे को बचाया, खुद बहाव में फंसे हरमीत
बुधवार दोपहर हरमीत सिंह अपने दोस्तों के साथ मुरादनगर गंगनहर में नहाने गए थे। इसी दौरान नहर किनारे एक बच्चा अचानक पानी में डूबने लगा और मदद के लिए चिल्लाने लगा। बच्चे को संकट में देख हरमीत बिना देर किए नहर में कूद गए। प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के मुताबिक उन्होंने बच्चे को सुरक्षित बाहर निकाल दिया, लेकिन खुद तेज बहाव में फंसकर पानी में बह गए।
गोताखोर और पुलिस की टीम तलाश में जुटी
घटना की सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस, गोताखोरों और राहत दल की टीमें मौके पर पहुंच गईं। एसीपी मसूरी सर्किल के अनुसार युवक की तलाश के लिए सर्च ऑपरेशन चलाया जा रहा है। एनडीआरएफ को भी सूचना दे दी गई है ताकि खोज अभियान को और तेज किया जा सके। प्रशासन ने आसपास के लोगों से भी सतर्क रहने की अपील की है।

Muradnagar Ganganahar Incident : Harmeet Singh Bhatia, a 29-year-old resident of Pratap Vihar, Ghaziabad, displayed remarkable courage and humanity by saving a drowning child in the Muradnagar Ganga Canal. However, after successfully rescuing the child, he himself got caught in the strong current of the canal and went missing. The incident has created concern in the area, and search efforts are still ongoing.
Harmeet Saved the Child but Got Swept Away
On Wednesday afternoon, Harmeet Singh had gone to the Muradnagar Ganga Canal with his friends for a swim. During this time, a child standing near the canal suddenly started drowning and cried out for help. Seeing the child in danger, Harmeet immediately jumped into the water without hesitation. According to eyewitnesses, he managed to bring the child safely out of the canal but was then trapped in the strong current and swept away.
Divers and Police Teams Continue Search Operations
As soon as the incident was reported, police personnel, divers, and rescue teams rushed to the scene. According to the ACP of Masuri Circle, a search operation is underway to locate the missing youth. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has also been informed to assist in the rescue efforts and speed up the search. Authorities have urged local residents and visitors to remain cautious around the canal area.
