Muradnagar Ganga Nahar : गाजियाबाद के मुरादनगर स्थित गंगनहर घाट पर गंगा दशहरा के अवसर पर श्रद्धालुओं की भारी भीड़ देखने को मिली। सोमवार सुबह से ही हजारों लोग स्नान के लिए घाट पहुंचने लगे। अनुमान के मुताबिक दिनभर में करीब 50 हजार श्रद्धालुओं ने गंगनहर में आस्था की डुबकी लगाई। उत्तर प्रदेश के अलावा दिल्ली और हरियाणा से भी बड़ी संख्या में श्रद्धालु पहुंचे।
भारी भीड़ के कारण लगा जाम, घंटों रेंगते रहे वाहन
श्रद्धालुओं की बढ़ती संख्या के चलते दोपहर के समय गंगनहर रोड पर भारी जाम लग गया। वाहनों की लंबी कतारें अबुपुर गेट तक पहुंच गईं। पुलिसकर्मियों ने यातायात संभालने की कोशिश की, लेकिन दोपहर 12 बजे से 2 बजे तक वाहन धीरे-धीरे चलते रहे। दोपहर बाद स्थिति सामान्य हो सकी।
महिलाओं को हुई परेशानी, चेंजिंग रूम नहीं होने से बढ़ी दिक्कत
गंगनहर घाट पर मूलभूत सुविधाओं की कमी भी देखने को मिली। प्रशासन द्वारा पहले हटाए गए चेंजिंग रूम की वजह से महिलाओं को स्नान के बाद कपड़े बदलने में काफी परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ा। कई महिलाओं ने व्यवस्था को लेकर नाराजगी भी जताई। श्रद्धालुओं का कहना है कि त्योहारों के दौरान घाट पर बेहतर सुविधाएं और मजबूत ट्रैफिक व्यवस्था होनी चाहिए।

Muradnagar Ganga Nahar : A huge crowd of devotees gathered at the Gang Canal ghat in Muradnagar, Ghaziabad, on the occasion of Ganga Dussehra. From Monday morning itself, thousands of people started arriving at the ghat for the holy bath. According to estimates, around 50,000 devotees took a dip in the Gang Canal throughout the day. Apart from Uttar Pradesh, a large number of devotees also came from Delhi and Haryana.
Heavy Traffic Jam Due to Massive Crowd, Vehicles Crawled for Hours
Due to the increasing number of devotees, severe traffic congestion was witnessed on Gang Canal Road during the afternoon. Long queues of vehicles stretched up to Abupur Gate. Police personnel tried to manage the traffic, but vehicles moved very slowly between 12 PM and 2 PM. The situation returned to normal only later in the afternoon.
Women Faced Problems Due to Lack of Changing Rooms
A lack of basic facilities was also noticed at the Gang Canal ghat. Women faced significant inconvenience while changing clothes after bathing because the administration had earlier removed the changing rooms. Several women expressed anger over the poor arrangements. Devotees said that better facilities and stronger traffic management should be arranged at the ghat during festivals.
