उत्तर प्रदेश के झांसी में एक महिला की संदिग्ध मौत का मामला सामने आया है, जहां बाथरूम में उसका शव लटका हुआ मिला। महिला ने 15 दिन पहले ही एक बेटी को जन्म दिया था। मायकेवालों का आरोप है कि शादी के बाद से ही महिला को दहेज के लिए प्रताड़ित किया जा रहा था। बुलेट बाइक और सोने की चेन की मांग को लेकर उसे लगातार परेशान किया जा रहा था।
कोंच निवासी मोनिका की शादी झांसी के हंसारी में रहने वाले संदीप से जून 2025 में हुई थी. मोनिका के भाई अमन ने बताया कि शादी के बाद से ही मोनिका के ससुराल वाले बुलेट बाइक की मांग कर रहे थे. इसका पैसा पहले ही दिया जा चुका था. बहन से मारपीट की जाती थी.
कैसे हुई घटना?
महिला बाथरूम में नहाने गई थी, जहां बाद में उसका शव लटकता हुआ मिला। परिवार के अनुसार उसे अस्पताल ले जाया गया, लेकिन डॉक्टरों ने मृत घोषित कर दिया।
मायकेवालों की शिकायत पर पुलिस ने पति और सास को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। शव का पोस्टमॉर्टम कराया गया है और मामले की जांच जारी है। पुलिस का कहना है कि पोस्टमॉर्टम रिपोर्ट के आधार पर आगे की कार्रवाई की जाएगी और दोषियों के खिलाफ सख्त कदम उठाए जाएंगे।

A shocking case of a woman’s suspicious death has emerged from Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, where her body was found hanging in a bathroom. The woman had given birth to a baby girl just 15 days ago. Her family has alleged that she was being harassed for dowry since her marriage, with demands for a Bullet bike and a gold chain.
Monika, a resident of Konch, was married to Sandeep from Hansari, Jhansi, in June 2025. Her brother Aman stated that her in-laws had been demanding a Bullet bike even after receiving money earlier. He also alleged that Monika was physically abused.
How did the incident happen?
The woman went to take a bath, and later her body was found hanging in the bathroom. According to the family, she was rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared her dead.
Based on a complaint from her family, the police have arrested the husband and mother-in-law. The body has been sent for postmortem, and the investigation is ongoing. Police stated that further action will be taken based on the postmortem report, and strict action will be taken against the accused.
