Azamgarh Encounter Controversy: उत्तर प्रदेश के आजमगढ़ में BJP बूथ अध्यक्ष अभिषेक सिंह के एनकाउंटर को लेकर बड़ा विवाद खड़ा हो गया है। पुलिस ने उन्हें लूट के आरोप में एनकाउंटर के दौरान गिरफ्तार किया, जिसमें उनके पैर में गोली लगी।

इस मामले में BJP के MLC देवेंद्र प्रताप सिंह ने मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ को पत्र लिखकर एनकाउंटर की निष्पक्ष जांच की मांग की है। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि पुलिस अभिषेक सिंह को घर से उठाकर ले गई और बाद में फर्जी एनकाउंटर दिखाया गया।
क्या है पूरा मामला?
25 मार्च को एक जियो कंपनी के एरिया मैनेजर के साथ मारपीट और धमकी के मामले में अभिषेक सिंह का नाम सामने आया था। इसी केस में पुलिस ने कार्रवाई की।
परिवार का दावा है कि घटना CCTV में रिकॉर्ड हुई थी, लेकिन पुलिस ने सबूत नष्ट कर दिए। इसको लेकर क्षेत्र में आक्रोश और विरोध बढ़ रहा है। जबकि पुलिस का कहना है कि अभिषेक सिंह पर पहले से लूट और मारपीट के मामले दर्ज थे। मुखबिर की सूचना पर घेराबंदी के दौरान आरोपियों ने पुलिस पर फायरिंग की, जिसके जवाब में पुलिस ने कार्रवाई की।
पुलिस ने मौके से तमंचा, कारतूस, चोरी की बाइक और लैपटॉप बरामद करने का दावा किया है। हालांकि, इस दावे पर भी सवाल उठाए जा रहे हैं।
बढ़ता विवाद और जांच की मांग
BJP नेताओं ने पुलिस अधीक्षक के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की मांग की है। कई नेता पीड़ित परिवार से मिल चुके हैं और मामले की उच्च स्तरीय जांच की मांग तेज हो गई है।

In this case, BJP MLC Devendra Pratap Singh has written a letter to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, demanding a fair investigation into the encounter. He alleged that the police picked up Abhishek Singh from his home and later staged a fake encounter.

On March 25, Abhishek Singh was named in a case involving assault and threats against a Jio company area manager. Police action was taken in connection with this case. The family claims that the entire incident was recorded on CCTV, but the evidence was later destroyed by the police. This has led to anger and protests in the area. Meanwhile, the police stated that Abhishek Singh already had cases of robbery and assault against him. Acting on a tip-off, police surrounded the suspects, who allegedly opened fire, prompting retaliatory action.
Police also claimed to have recovered a country-made pistol, cartridges, a stolen bike, and a laptop from the accused. However, these claims are now being questioned.

BJP leaders have demanded action against the Superintendent of Police. Several leaders have met the victim’s family, and calls for a high-level investigation are intensifying.
