नई दिल्ली। आम आदमी पार्टी (AAP) के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक Arvind Kejriwal ने पंजाब में प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ED) द्वारा की जा रही छापेमारी को लेकर केंद्र सरकार पर गंभीर आरोप लगाए हैं। केजरीवाल ने दावा किया कि ED छोटे हिंदू व्यापारियों को निशाना बना रही है और उन्हें परेशान किया जा रहा है।
मंगलवार को सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म X पर पोस्ट करते हुए केजरीवाल ने कहा कि पंजाब में एक बार फिर ED की छापेमारी चल रही है और छोटे हिंदू व्यापारियों को परेशान किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने व्यापारियों से अपील की कि वे घबराएं नहीं क्योंकि पंजाब सरकार उनके साथ खड़ी है।
व्यापारियों को दिया भरोसा
केजरीवाल ने कहा कि पंजाब और पंजाब सरकार व्यापारियों के साथ मजबूती से खड़ी है और सभी मिलकर ऐसी कार्रवाइयों का सामना करेंगे। उन्होंने दावा किया कि राज्य के कारोबारी समुदाय को अनावश्यक दबाव में लाने की कोशिश की जा रही है।
ED ने कई स्थानों पर की छापेमारी
दूसरी ओर, ED अधिकारियों के अनुसार पंजाब के लुधियाना और जालंधर समेत उत्तर प्रदेश तथा दिल्ली-नोएडा क्षेत्र में कई स्थानों पर तलाशी अभियान चलाया गया। यह कार्रवाई कथित तौर पर एक रियल एस्टेट और मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग जांच से जुड़ी बताई जा रही है। एजेंसी ने आवासीय और व्यावसायिक परिसरों में तलाशी ली है।
अधिकारियों का कहना है कि यह कार्रवाई धन शोधन निवारण अधिनियम (PMLA) के तहत चल रही जांच का हिस्सा है और जांच से जुड़े व्यक्तियों व संस्थाओं के परिसरों को कवर किया गया है।
राजनीतिक माहौल गरमाया
पंजाब में ED की कार्रवाई को लेकर राजनीतिक माहौल एक बार फिर गरमा गया है। AAP इसे केंद्र सरकार द्वारा विपक्षी राज्यों को निशाना बनाने की कार्रवाई बता रही है, जबकि जांच एजेंसियां इसे कानूनी प्रक्रिया का हिस्सा मान रही हैं।

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday accused the Enforcement Directorate (ED) of targeting and harassing small Hindu traders in Punjab through fresh search operations.
In a post on X, Kejriwal alleged that ED officials were conducting raids on traders across Punjab and claimed that small Hindu businessmen were being subjected to unnecessary pressure. He appealed to the trading community not to panic and assured them that the Punjab government stood firmly with them.
Appeal to the Business Community
Kejriwal said traders should remain calm as the state government would support them. According to him, the entire Punjab government is standing with the business community and will collectively face any challenges arising from such actions.
ED Conducts Searches Across Multiple Locations
Meanwhile, ED officials stated that search operations were carried out at multiple locations in Punjab, including Ludhiana and Jalandhar, as well as in Uttar Pradesh and the Delhi-NCR region. The searches are reportedly linked to an ongoing investigation under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) involving a real-estate-related case.
Officials said both residential and commercial premises connected to individuals and entities under investigation were covered during the operation.
Political Tensions Intensify
The latest ED action has sparked a fresh political confrontation between AAP and the BJP-led Centre. While AAP leaders allege misuse of central agencies against traders and opposition-linked individuals, investigating agencies maintain that the searches are part of a lawful probe under anti-money laundering laws.
