Oil Prices Today : करीब दो साल बाद देश में पेट्रोल और डीजल की कीमतों में बढ़ोतरी की गई है। 15 मई से पेट्रोल और डीजल ₹3-₹3 प्रति लीटर महंगे हो गए हैं। दिल्ली में अब पेट्रोल ₹97.77 प्रति लीटर और डीजल ₹90.67 प्रति लीटर बिक रहा है। इसके साथ ही CNG की कीमतों में भी ₹2 प्रति किलो तक की बढ़ोतरी हुई है। तेल कंपनियों का कहना है कि अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजार में कच्चे तेल की कीमतें बढ़ने से उन्हें भारी नुकसान उठाना पड़ रहा है।
कंपनियों को अब भी ₹25-30 प्रति लीटर का घाटा
सरकारी तेल कंपनियों इंडियन ऑयल, भारत पेट्रोलियम और हिंदुस्तान पेट्रोलियम के मुताबिक, बढ़ती क्रूड ऑयल कीमतों के कारण उन्हें पेट्रोल-डीजल पर अभी भी ₹25 से ₹30 प्रति लीटर तक का घाटा हो रहा है। पेट्रोलियम मंत्रालय के अनुसार कंपनियों को हर महीने लगभग ₹30 हजार करोड़ का नुकसान झेलना पड़ रहा है।
महंगा होगा राशन, किराया और खेती
डीजल की कीमत बढ़ने का सीधा असर आम लोगों की जेब पर पड़ेगा। ट्रकों और मालवाहक वाहनों का किराया बढ़ने से सब्जियां, फल और राशन महंगे हो सकते हैं। किसानों की खेती लागत भी बढ़ेगी क्योंकि ट्रैक्टर और पंपिंग सेट चलाने में ज्यादा खर्च आएगा। इसके अलावा बस, ऑटो और स्कूल वाहनों का किराया भी बढ़ सकता है।
ईरान-अमेरिका तनाव बना बड़ी वजह
विशेषज्ञों के अनुसार, ईरान और अमेरिका के बीच बढ़ते तनाव के कारण अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजार में कच्चे तेल की कीमतें 70 डॉलर से बढ़कर 100 डॉलर प्रति बैरल के पार पहुंच गई हैं। इसी दबाव के चलते तेल कंपनियों ने कीमतें बढ़ाने का फैसला लिया। अगर वैश्विक हालात ऐसे ही बने रहे तो आने वाले समय में पेट्रोल-डीजल और महंगे हो सकते हैं।
राहुल गांधी और PM मोदी के बयान
राहुल गांधी ने सोशल मीडिया पर सरकार पर हमला बोलते हुए कहा कि “गलती मोदी सरकार की है और कीमत जनता चुका रही है।” वहीं प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने हाल ही में लोगों से पेट्रोल, डीजल और गैस का इस्तेमाल कम करने की अपील की थी। उन्होंने कहा था कि विदेशी मुद्रा बचाने और वैश्विक संकट से बचने के लिए ईंधन का इस्तेमाल जरूरत के हिसाब से करना चाहिए।

Oil Prices Today : After nearly two years, fuel prices in India have been increased. From May 15, petrol and diesel have become ₹3 costlier per litre. Petrol in Delhi is now priced at ₹97.77 per litre, while diesel has reached ₹90.67 per litre. Along with this, CNG prices have also increased by up to ₹2 per kg. Oil companies say they are facing heavy losses due to rising crude oil prices in the international market.
Oil Companies Still Facing ₹25-30 Per Litre Loss
According to government-owned oil companies including Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum, they are still suffering losses of ₹25 to ₹30 per litre on petrol and diesel because of rising crude oil prices. The Petroleum Ministry stated that oil companies are bearing losses of nearly ₹30,000 crore every month.
Rising Fuel Prices Will Impact Food, Transport, and Farming
The increase in diesel prices will directly affect common people. Transportation costs for trucks and goods carriers are expected to rise, making vegetables, fruits, and essential commodities more expensive. Farmers will also face higher cultivation costs due to increased expenses on tractors and irrigation pumps. Bus, auto-rickshaw, and school transport fares may also increase.
Iran-US Tensions Behind Crude Oil Price Surge
Experts believe that growing tensions between Iran and the United States have pushed global crude oil prices from around $70 to over $100 per barrel. Due to this pressure, oil companies decided to increase fuel prices. If the geopolitical situation continues to worsen, petrol and diesel prices may rise further in the coming days.

Rahul Gandhi criticized the government on social media, saying, “The mistake belongs to the Modi government, but the public is paying the price.” Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently appealed to citizens to reduce the use of petrol, diesel, and gas. He said fuel should be used carefully to save foreign exchange reserves and reduce the impact of the global crisis.
