Neet UG Leak Case : NEET UG 2026 पेपर लीक मामले में CBI ने बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए महाराष्ट्र के लातूर से केमिस्ट्री कोचिंग डायरेक्टर शिवराज रघुनाथ मोटेगांवकर को गिरफ्तार किया है। जांच एजेंसी के मुताबिक आरोपी के मोबाइल फोन से लीक हुआ NEET पेपर और आंसर की बरामद हुई है। इस मामले में अब तक 10 आरोपियों की गिरफ्तारी हो चुकी है, जिनमें कई लोग महाराष्ट्र से जुड़े हैं।
CBI की रेड में मिला लीक पेपर, 9 दिन की कस्टडी
CBI अधिकारियों के अनुसार, शिवराज मोटेगांवकर संगठित पेपर लीक गिरोह का हिस्सा था। आरोप है कि उसने अन्य आरोपियों के साथ मिलकर 23 अप्रैल को ही NEET UG 2026 का पेपर और आंसर की हासिल कर ली थी और कई छात्रों तक पहुंचाई थी। रविवार को CBI ने लातूर स्थित उसके रेणुकाई केमिस्ट्री क्लासेस (RCC) सेंटर और घर पर छापेमारी की, जहां से कई दस्तावेज और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक डिवाइस जब्त किए गए। दिल्ली कोर्ट ने आरोपी को 9 दिन की CBI कस्टडी में भेज दिया है।
₹100 करोड़ टर्नओवर वाले कोचिंग नेटवर्क पर जांच
रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक मोटेगांवकर का RCC कोचिंग नेटवर्क महाराष्ट्र के 7 जिलों में फैला हुआ है और इसका सालाना टर्नओवर करीब ₹100 करोड़ बताया जा रहा है। CBI का दावा है कि आरोपी ने छात्रों को हाथ से लिखे हुए नोट्स के जरिए लीक सवाल उपलब्ध कराए थे। परीक्षा के बाद इन नोट्स को नष्ट कर दिया गया। जांच में यह भी सामने आया कि कई प्रोफेसर और एजेंट छात्रों व अभिभावकों से लाखों रुपये लेकर पेपर उपलब्ध करा रहे थे।
राहुल गांधी ने सरकार पर साधा निशाना, NTA में बड़े बदलाव
पेपर लीक विवाद को लेकर राहुल गांधी ने केंद्र सरकार और शिक्षा मंत्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान पर सवाल उठाए हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि बार-बार पेपर लीक होने के बावजूद जिम्मेदार लोगों पर कार्रवाई नहीं हो रही है। वहीं केंद्र सरकार ने NTA में बड़ा प्रशासनिक फेरबदल करते हुए कई नए अधिकारियों की नियुक्ति की है। बता दें कि NEET UG 2026 परीक्षा 3 मई को देशभर के 551 शहरों और विदेश के 14 केंद्रों पर आयोजित हुई थी, जिसमें करीब 23 लाख छात्र शामिल हुए थे। जांच एजेंसियों की रिपोर्ट के बाद 12 मई को परीक्षा रद्द कर री-एग्जाम कराने का फैसला लिया गया।

Neet UG Leak Case : In a major breakthrough in the NEET UG 2026 paper leak case, the CBI has arrested chemistry coaching director Shivraj Raghunath Motegaonkar from Latur, Maharashtra. According to the investigation agency, the leaked NEET paper and answer key were recovered from the accused’s mobile phone. So far, 10 people have been arrested in connection with the case, many of them linked to Maharashtra.
Leaked Paper Found During CBI Raid, 9-Day Custody Granted
According to CBI officials, Shivraj Motegaonkar was part of an organized paper leak gang. He allegedly obtained the NEET UG 2026 question paper and answer key as early as April 23 along with other accused individuals and distributed them to several students. On Sunday, the CBI conducted raids at his Renukai Chemistry Classes (RCC) center and residence in Latur, where several documents and electronic devices were seized. A Delhi court has sent the accused to 9 days of CBI custody.
Investigation Into ₹100 Crore Coaching Network
Reports suggest that Motegaonkar’s RCC coaching network operates across seven districts of Maharashtra and has an annual turnover of nearly ₹100 crore. The CBI claims that leaked questions were provided to students through handwritten notes, which were later destroyed after the examination. The investigation has also revealed that several professors and agents allegedly charged lakhs of rupees from students and parents to provide leaked papers.
Rahul Gandhi Targets Government, Major Changes in NTA
Reacting to the paper leak controversy, Rahul Gandhi criticized the central government and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, questioning why strict action has not been taken despite repeated paper leaks. Meanwhile, the central government has made major administrative changes in the National Testing Agency (NTA) by appointing several new officials.
It is worth noting that the NEET UG 2026 exam was conducted on May 3 across 551 cities in India and 14 international centers, with nearly 23 lakh students appearing for the test. Following reports from investigating agencies, the examination was canceled on May 12, and a re-exam was announced.
