मोदीनगर थाने के सामने शुरू हुआ अनिश्चितकालीन धरना
मोदीनगर (गाजियाबाद)। मोदीनगर थाना क्षेत्र में 3 अगस्त को महिलाओं के साथ कथित मारपीट के मामले में दर्ज मुकदमे को लेकर गुरुवार को कश्यप समाज और शर्मा समाज के लोगों ने मोदीनगर थाने के सामने अनिश्चितकालीन धरना शुरू कर दिया। प्रदर्शनकारियों ने कहा कि जब तक मामले में नामजद आरोपियों की गिरफ्तारी नहीं होती और मेडिकल रिपोर्ट के आधार पर मुकदमे में उचित एवं गंभीर धाराएं नहीं जोड़ी जातीं, तब तक धरना जारी रहेगा।
आरोपियों की गिरफ्तारी की मांग
धरने पर बैठे लोगों के अनुसार, मामले में हिंदू रक्षा दल के कुछ कार्यकर्ताओं, सपना अग्रवाल सहित अन्य लोगों के खिलाफ मोदीनगर थाने में मुकदमा दर्ज है। प्रदर्शनकारियों ने आरोप लगाया कि घटना के दौरान कई लोगों के साथ मारपीट हुई थी।
प्रदर्शनकारियों के मुताबिक, दीपक कश्यप इस घटना में गंभीर रूप से घायल हुए और उनके कान का पर्दा फट गया। उनका कहना है कि मेडिकल रिपोर्ट के आधार पर पुलिस को मामले में आवश्यक गंभीर धाराएं जोड़कर आरोपियों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करनी चाहिए।
बड़ी संख्या में लोगों के शामिल होने का दावा
धरने में शामिल लोगों ने दावा किया कि घटना के दौरान बड़ी संख्या में लोग मौजूद थे और करीब दो हजार लोगों के नाम सामने आए हैं। प्रदर्शनकारियों ने प्रशासन से मांग की कि पूरे मामले की निष्पक्ष जांच कर दोषियों की पहचान की जाए और कानून के अनुसार कार्रवाई की जाए।
उन्होंने चेतावनी दी कि यदि आरोपियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई नहीं की गई तो आंदोलन को और व्यापक किया जाएगा।
दोषियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की मांग
धरने में शामिल महिलाओं और पुरुषों ने प्रशासन के प्रति नाराजगी जताई। प्रदर्शनकारियों का कहना है कि पीड़ित पक्ष को न्याय दिलाने के लिए वे लंबे समय तक संघर्ष करने को तैयार हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि उनका आंदोलन केवल गिरफ्तारी तक सीमित नहीं रहेगा, बल्कि दोषियों के खिलाफ कानून के तहत कड़ी कार्रवाई होने तक जारी रहेगा।
मोदीनगर थाने के आसपास पुलिस बल तैनात
धरने को देखते हुए मोदीनगर थाना परिसर के आसपास पुलिस बल तैनात किया गया है। पुलिस अधिकारियों के अनुसार, मामले की जांच की जा रही है और मेडिकल रिपोर्ट समेत उपलब्ध तथ्यों के आधार पर आगे की विधिक कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
प्रशासन की ओर से स्थिति पर नजर रखी जा रही है, ताकि धरने के दौरान कानून-व्यवस्था प्रभावित न हो।
फिलहाल जारी है धरना
फिलहाल मोदीनगर थाने के सामने कश्यप और शर्मा समाज के लोगों का धरना जारी है। मामले को लेकर दोनों समाजों के लोगों में नाराजगी देखने को मिल रही है। पुलिस जांच पूरी होने के बाद मामले में आगे की कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

Modinagar (Ghaziabad): Members of the Kashyap and Sharma communities began an indefinite protest outside Modinagar Police Station on Thursday over a case registered in connection with an alleged assault on women on August 3.
The protesters demanded the arrest of the named accused and called for appropriate stronger legal sections to be added to the case based on the medical report. They said the protest would continue until action is taken according to their demands.
Protesters Demand Arrest of Named Accused
According to the protesters, a case has been registered at Modinagar Police Station against some workers associated with the Hindu Raksha Dal, Sapna Agarwal and others.
The protesters alleged that several people were assaulted during the incident. They claimed that Deepak Kashyap sustained serious injuries and that his eardrum was ruptured.
The protesters said the medical report should be considered while determining the appropriate legal sections in the case.
Protesters Claim Large Number of People Were Involved
People participating in the protest claimed that a large number of individuals were present during the incident and alleged that the names of around 2,000 people had surfaced in connection with the matter.
They urged the administration to conduct a fair investigation, identify those responsible and take legal action against the accused according to the findings of the investigation.
Warning of Wider Protest
The men and women participating in the protest expressed dissatisfaction with the administration and said they were prepared to continue their campaign for justice.
The protesters stated that their movement would not be limited to demanding arrests and that they would continue seeking strict legal action against those found responsible.
Police Deployment Around Modinagar Police Station
Following the protest, police personnel were deployed around the Modinagar Police Station premises to maintain law and order.
Police officials said that the matter is under investigation. They added that further legal action would be taken after considering the medical report and other facts related to the case.
The administration is monitoring the situation to prevent any disruption to law and order.
