
Modinagar News: गाजियाबाद के मोदीनगर में शनिवार, 10 अक्टूबर 2026 को समाजवादी पार्टी (सपा) के कार्यकर्ताओं ने मताधिकार की सुरक्षा और चुनाव प्रक्रिया में पारदर्शिता सुनिश्चित करने की मांग को लेकर ज्ञापन सौंपा। कार्यकर्ताओं ने मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञानेश कुमार को पद से हटाने और चुनावी व्यवस्था में जनता का विश्वास मजबूत करने की मांग उठाई।
जंतर-मंतर पर प्रदर्शन की तैयारी, हाउस अरेस्ट का आरोप
सपा कार्यकर्ताओं के अनुसार, वे अपनी मांगों को लेकर दिल्ली के जंतर-मंतर पर विरोध प्रदर्शन करने जाना चाहते थे, लेकिन पुलिस ने कथित तौर पर उन्हें हाउस अरेस्ट कर लिया और आगे जाने से रोक दिया। इसके बाद मोदीनगर में स्थानीय प्रशासन के अधिकारियों को ज्ञापन सौंपकर अपनी मांगें रखीं।
कार्यकर्ताओं का कहना है कि प्रत्येक नागरिक के मताधिकार की सुरक्षा लोकतंत्र का महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा है। उनके मुताबिक, वोट चोरी से संबंधित खबरों और आरोपों के कारण मतदाताओं के मन में अपने वोट की सुरक्षा को लेकर सवाल उठ रहे हैं। उन्होंने चुनाव प्रक्रिया को अधिक पारदर्शी बनाने और इन चिंताओं पर गंभीरता से विचार करने की मांग की।
एसएचओ और नायब तहसीलदार ने लिया ज्ञापन
सपा कार्यकर्ताओं के मुताबिक, मोदीनगर के एसएचओ और नायब तहसीलदार ने उनका ज्ञापन प्राप्त किया। कार्यकर्ताओं को उनकी मांगें संबंधित अधिकारियों तक पहुंचाने का आश्वासन दिया गया।
ज्ञापन के दौरान कार्यकर्ताओं ने मतदाता सूची की विश्वसनीयता, मताधिकार की सुरक्षा और चुनावी व्यवस्था में जनता का भरोसा बनाए रखने पर जोर दिया। उनका कहना था कि लोकतांत्रिक व्यवस्था में प्रत्येक नागरिक के वोट का महत्व है और चुनाव प्रक्रिया निष्पक्ष एवं पारदर्शी होनी चाहिए।

ज्ञापन सौंपने वालों में नगर अध्यक्ष सचिन सार्थक दीक्षित, जिला सचिव मुस्तफा महरी, नगर महासचिव विपिन चौधरी, नगर कोषाध्यक्ष दिनेश चौधरी, नगर उपाध्यक्ष भतार्थ शमी, फिरोज सिकरी (विधानसभा अध्यक्ष, अल्पसंख्यक सभा), राजेश जाटव (प्रतापशी), प्रशांत गुर्जर (जिला अध्यक्ष, लोहिया वाहिनी), इस्लाम (विधानसभा उपाध्यक्ष), दिनेश शर्मा (नगर कार्यकारिणी), प्रेमचंद शर्मा, गजेंद्र गहलौत, अमित जोशी और सतीश कश्यप सहित अन्य कार्यकर्ता मौजूद रहे।
इसके अलावा रोहित, अरुण कुमार, विशाल शर्मा, सुमित कुमार, रोहित चौधरी, उमेश, राकेश, सचिन और विनीत भी उपस्थित रहे।
सपा कार्यकर्ताओं ने मांग की कि मताधिकार की सुरक्षा से जुड़ी शिकायतों और सुझावों पर गंभीरता से विचार किया जाए तथा चुनाव प्रक्रिया में पारदर्शिता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए आवश्यक कदम उठाए जाएं।
SP Workers Submit Memorandum in Modinagar, Demand Voter Rights Protection and Transparent Elections
Modinagar, Ghaziabad: Samajwadi Party (SP) workers submitted a memorandum in Modinagar on Saturday, October 10, 2026, demanding the protection of voting rights and greater transparency in the electoral process. The workers also called for the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and urged authorities to address concerns related to electoral transparency.
SP Workers Allege House Arrest Ahead of Jantar Mantar Protest
According to the party workers, they were preparing to travel to Jantar Mantar in Delhi to raise their demands through a protest. However, they alleged that police placed them under house arrest and prevented them from proceeding.
Following the incident, the workers submitted a memorandum to local administrative officials in Modinagar to communicate their concerns and demands.
The workers stated that protecting every citizen’s voting rights is essential to democracy. They referred to reports and allegations related to vote theft, saying these had raised questions among voters about the security of their votes. They demanded greater transparency in the electoral process and serious consideration of these concerns.
Modinagar SHO and Naib Tehsildar Receive Memorandum
According to the workers, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Modinagar and the Naib Tehsildar received their memorandum. They reportedly assured the workers that their demands would be conveyed to the relevant authorities.
During the submission, the workers highlighted the importance of reliable electoral rolls, protection of voting rights and maintaining public confidence in the election system. They said that every citizen’s vote matters and that the electoral process should be transparent and trustworthy.
Party Workers Present During the Memorandum Submission
Those present included city president Sachin Sarthak Dixit, district secretary Mustafa Mahri, city general secretary Vipin Chaudhary, city treasurer Dinesh Chaudhary, city vice-president Bhatarath Shami, Firoz Sikri (Assembly President, Minority Sabha), Rajesh Jatav (Pratapshi), Prashant Gurjar (District President, Lohia Vahini), Islam (Assembly Vice-President), Dinesh Sharma (City Executive Committee), Premchand Sharma, Gajendra Gehlot, Amit Joshi and Satish Kashyap, along with other party workers.
Rohit, Arun Kumar, Vishal Sharma, Sumit Kumar, Rohit Chaudhary, Umesh, Rakesh, Sachin and Vineet were also present.
The SP workers urged the authorities to consider their complaints and suggestions seriously and take appropriate steps to improve transparency in the electoral process and safeguard citizens’ voting rights.
