Modinagar (गाजियाबाद): मोदीनगर तहसील परिसर में शुक्रवार को अधिवक्ताओं ने एक लेखपाल पर कथित रूप से पैसे लेकर मामलों में रिपोर्ट लगाने का आरोप लगाते हुए एसडीएम कार्यालय के बाहर धरना प्रदर्शन किया। वकीलों ने मामले की निष्पक्ष जांच कराने और आरोप सही पाए जाने पर संबंधित लेखपाल के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की मांग की। अधिवक्ताओं का आरोप है कि कुछ मामलों में रिपोर्ट लगाने की प्रक्रिया के दौरान कथित तौर पर सुविधा शुल्क की मांग की जाती है। इसको लेकर तहसील परिसर में वकीलों के बीच रोष देखने को मिला।
रिपोर्ट लगाने की प्रक्रिया पर अधिवक्ताओं ने उठाए सवाल
धरने पर बैठे अधिवक्ताओं ने आरोप लगाया कि कई मामलों में रिपोर्ट लगाने की प्रक्रिया को लेकर गंभीर सवाल सामने आ रहे हैं। वकीलों ने एक मामले का उदाहरण देते हुए बताया कि पहले संबंधित व्यक्ति के पास जाति प्रमाण पत्र उपलब्ध नहीं होने की बात कहकर रिपोर्ट लगाने से इनकार किया गया था। अधिवक्ताओं के अनुसार, कुछ दिन बाद उसी मामले में कथित तौर पर बिना जाति प्रमाण पत्र उपलब्ध कराए ही रिपोर्ट लगा दी गई। वकीलों ने सवाल उठाया कि जब पहले आवश्यक दस्तावेज न होने के कारण रिपोर्ट नहीं लगाई गई थी, तो बाद में बिना दस्तावेज के रिपोर्ट किस आधार पर लगाई गई।
लेखपाल की आठ साल से एक ही तहसील में तैनाती का मुद्दा भी उठा
अधिवक्ताओं ने संबंधित लेखपाल के लंबे समय से मोदीनगर तहसील में तैनात रहने का मुद्दा भी उठाया। उनका दावा है कि लेखपाल करीब आठ वर्षों से एक ही तहसील में तैनात है। वकीलों ने मांग की कि लंबे समय से एक ही स्थान पर तैनात कर्मचारी का अन्य तहसील में स्थानांतरण किया जाए। उनका कहना है कि इससे कार्यप्रणाली में पारदर्शिता और निष्पक्षता सुनिश्चित करने में मदद मिल सकती है।
SDM से निष्पक्ष जांच और कार्रवाई की मांग
अधिवक्ताओं ने एसडीएम से पूरे मामले की निष्पक्ष जांच कराने की मांग की। उन्होंने कहा कि यदि जांच में आरोप सही पाए जाते हैं तो संबंधित कर्मचारी के खिलाफ नियमानुसार कार्रवाई की जानी चाहिए। प्रदर्शनकारियों ने प्रशासन से तहसील में होने वाले जमीन और दस्तावेजों से जुड़े कार्यों में पारदर्शिता सुनिश्चित करने की भी मांग की।
आरोपों की स्वतंत्र पुष्टि नहीं
फिलहाल लेखपाल पर लगाए गए आरोपों की स्वतंत्र रूप से पुष्टि नहीं हुई है। मामले में संबंधित कर्मचारी और प्रशासन का पक्ष सामने आने तथा जांच पूरी होने के बाद ही स्थिति स्पष्ट हो सकेगी।
Modinagar Lekhpal Accused of Taking Bribe for Reports, Lawyers Stage Protest
Modinagar, Ghaziabad: Lawyers staged a protest outside the Sub-Divisional Magistrate’s (SDM) office at Modinagar Tehsil on Friday, alleging that a lekhpal was allegedly demanding money for filing reports in official matters.
The advocates demanded an impartial investigation and appropriate action if the allegations are found to be true.
Lawyers Raise Questions Over Report प्रक्रिया
According to the protesting lawyers, serious questions have been raised regarding the process of filing reports in several cases. The advocates cited one particular case in which a report was initially not filed because the concerned person allegedly did not have a caste certificate.
However, the lawyers claimed that a report was later filed in the same matter without the caste certificate being submitted. They questioned the basis on which the report was subsequently prepared.
Advocates Raise Issue of Eight-Year Posting
The lawyers also raised concerns about the lekhpal’s long tenure at the same tehsil. According to the advocates, the concerned employee has allegedly been posted at Modinagar Tehsil for around eight years.
The protesters demanded that an employee serving at the same location for a prolonged period should be transferred to another tehsil to ensure transparency and impartiality in official work.
Demand for Fair Investigation and Action
The advocates urged the SDM to conduct a fair and impartial investigation into the allegations. They said strict action should be taken against the concerned employee if any wrongdoing is established during the inquiry.
The lawyers also demanded greater transparency in land-related and document-related work carried out at the tehsil.
Allegations Yet to Be Independently Verified
The allegations against the lekhpal have not been independently verified. The exact facts of the matter will become clearer after the administration conducts an inquiry and the concerned parties present their versions.
