modinagar (गाजियाबाद): मोदीनगर क्षेत्र के कदराबाद खाद सहकारी समिति पर समय से उर्वरक उपलब्ध न होने से नाराज किसानों का आक्रोश शुक्रवार को खुलकर सामने आया। लंबे समय से खाद की कमी से परेशान किसानों ने गोदाम खुलते ही अपने-अपने स्तर पर खाद के कट्टे उठाकर ट्रैक्टर-ट्रॉलियों और बुग्गियों में भर लिए और वहां से रवाना हो गए। सूचना मिलने पर पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची, लेकिन तब तक अधिकांश किसान गोदाम खाली कर जा चुके थे।
प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों और किसानों के अनुसार, पिछले कई महीनों से खाद की अनियमित उपलब्धता के कारण खेती-किसानी प्रभावित हो रही है। किसानों का कहना है कि बार-बार समिति के चक्कर लगाने के बावजूद उन्हें जरूरत के अनुसार खाद नहीं मिल रही थी, जिससे उनमें लगातार नाराजगी बढ़ रही थी।
बताया गया कि शुक्रवार सुबह जैसे ही समिति का गोदाम खोला गया और खाद की खेप पहुंचने की जानकारी किसानों को मिली, बड़ी संख्या में किसान ट्रैक्टर-ट्रॉलियों के साथ मौके पर पहुंच गए। शुरुआत में कुछ किसानों ने अपने हिस्से के अनुसार खाद के कट्टे उठाने शुरू किए, लेकिन देखते ही देखते वहां अफरा-तफरी का माहौल बन गया।
कई किसान सीधे गोदाम के अंदर पहुंच गए और अपनी जरूरत के हिसाब से खाद उठाकर अपने वाहनों में भरने लगे। किसी किसान को एक कट्टा मिला तो किसी ने पांच, दस या उससे अधिक कट्टे अपने वाहन में रख लिए।
स्थिति को नियंत्रण से बाहर जाता देख समिति के अधिकारियों ने पुलिस को सूचना दी। हालांकि पुलिस के पहुंचने से पहले ही किसान खाद लेकर वहां से निकल चुके थे और गोदाम लगभग खाली हो चुका था।
किसानों का कहना है कि यदि समय पर पर्याप्त मात्रा में खाद उपलब्ध कराई जाती और वितरण व्यवस्था पारदर्शी होती, तो ऐसी स्थिति उत्पन्न नहीं होती। किसानों ने प्रशासन से मांग की है कि क्षेत्र में पर्याप्त मात्रा में खाद उपलब्ध कराई जाए ताकि फसलों को नुकसान न पहुंचे।
वहीं, घटना के बाद प्रशासन और संबंधित विभाग की कार्यप्रणाली पर भी सवाल उठ रहे हैं। मामले में अधिकारियों की ओर से विस्तृत प्रतिक्रिया का इंतजार है तथा पुलिस पूरे घटनाक्रम की जानकारी जुटाने में लगी हुई है।

Modinagar, Ghaziabad: Farmers frustrated by the persistent shortage of fertilizers at the Kadarabad Cooperative Society in Modinagar expressed their anger on Friday by taking fertilizer bags directly from the warehouse. By the time police arrived at the scene, most of the farmers had already left with the fertilizer loaded onto their tractors, trolleys, and carts.
According to eyewitnesses and local farmers, irregular fertilizer supplies over the past several months have severely affected agricultural activities in the region. Farmers claimed that despite repeated visits to the cooperative society, they were unable to obtain fertilizers according to their requirements.
Reports suggest that as soon as news spread about a fresh fertilizer stock arriving at the warehouse on Friday morning, a large number of farmers gathered at the site with tractors and trolleys. Initially, some farmers collected fertilizer bags according to their needs, but the situation quickly turned chaotic.
Several farmers entered the warehouse and loaded fertilizer bags directly onto their vehicles. While some managed to obtain only one bag, others reportedly carried away five, ten, or even more bags based on their requirements.
As the situation escalated, cooperative society officials informed the police. However, before law enforcement personnel could reach the location, most farmers had already departed with the fertilizer, leaving the warehouse nearly empty.
Farmers argued that such an incident could have been avoided if fertilizers had been supplied on time and distributed transparently. They urged authorities to ensure adequate fertilizer availability in the region to prevent losses to standing crops.
The incident has raised questions about the functioning of the concerned departments and local administration. Officials are yet to issue a detailed statement, while police are gathering information regarding the entire episode.
