गाजियाबाद/मोदीनगर: मोदीनगर तहसील क्षेत्र के सीकरी कला गांव में वर्ष 1976 में स्वीकृत किए गए पट्टों की जांच के बाद एक बुजुर्ग की मौत का मामला सामने आया है। मंगलवार को तहसील और नगर पालिका की संयुक्त टीम पट्टों की वर्तमान स्थिति की जांच करने गांव पहुंची थी। टीम के वापस लौटने के बाद पट्टे से जुड़े एक परिवार के बुजुर्ग की अचानक मौत हो गई। ग्रामीणों ने दावा किया कि बुजुर्ग जांच की कार्रवाई और जमीन की नाप-जोख को लेकर सदमे में थे। हालांकि, मौत जांच के कारण हुई, इसकी आधिकारिक पुष्टि नहीं हुई है।
1976 में स्वीकृत हुए थे ग्रामीणों को पट्टे
जानकारी के अनुसार, वर्ष 1976 में तत्कालीन ग्राम प्रधान द्वारा कुछ ग्रामीणों को पट्टे स्वीकृत किए गए थे। इन पट्टों को लेकर गांव के ही एक व्यक्ति ने नगर पालिका में शिकायत देकर जांच की मांग की थी। शिकायतकर्ता ने आरोप लगाया था कि पट्टे नियमों के विपरीत दिए गए और जमीन को नगर पालिका के कब्जे में लिया जाना चाहिए।
बताया जा रहा है कि इन पट्टों से जुड़े परिवारों की तीसरी पीढ़ी तक के लोग आज भी संबंधित मकानों में रह रहे हैं।
तहसील और नगर पालिका की संयुक्त टीम ने की जांच
शिकायत और एनजीटी में विचाराधीन मामले को देखते हुए मोदीनगर एसडीएम कोमल सिंह ने जांच के लिए टीम गठित की। टीम में नगर पालिका के कर्मचारियों के अलावा तहसीलदार प्रियंका और लेखपाल शामिल रहे।
टीम ने सीकरी कला पहुंचकर 1976 में स्वीकृत पट्टों और मौके की मौजूदा स्थिति की जानकारी जुटाई। जांच पूरी करने के बाद टीम गांव से वापस लौट गई।
टीम के लौटने के बाद बुजुर्ग की मौत
ग्रामीणों के अनुसार, जांच की जानकारी मिलने के बाद पट्टे से जुड़े परिवार के बुजुर्ग काफी परेशान हो गए थे। ग्रामीणों का दावा है कि वह जमीन की नाप-जोख और पट्टों को लेकर सदमे में थे। टीम के गांव से लौटने के बाद उनकी अचानक मौत हो गई।
हालांकि, यह स्पष्ट नहीं है कि बुजुर्ग की मौत का सीधा संबंध जांच कार्रवाई से था। प्रशासन की ओर से भी इस संबंध में कोई आधिकारिक पुष्टि नहीं की गई है।
एसडीएम ने बताया—एनजीटी में विचाराधीन है मामला
मोदीनगर एसडीएम कोमल सिंह ने बताया कि संबंधित प्रकरण एनजीटी में विचाराधीन है और इसी मामले में लिखित जवाब भेजा जाना है। मौके की वर्तमान स्थिति की जानकारी लेने के लिए तहसील और नगर पालिका के अधिकारियों-कर्मचारियों की टीम को सीकरी कला भेजा गया था।
एसडीएम के अनुसार, टीम का उद्देश्य केवल मौके की स्थिति की जांच कर रिपोर्ट तैयार करना था। प्रशासन की रिपोर्ट और आगे की कार्रवाई के बाद ही मामले की स्थिति स्पष्ट हो सकेगी।
Elderly Man Dies After 1976 Land Patta Inspection in Modinagar, Villagers Allege Shock
Ghaziabad/Modinagar: An elderly man died in Sikri Kalan village of Modinagar after a joint team from the tehsil administration and municipal body visited the village to inspect land pattas approved in 1976. The team conducted the inspection on Tuesday and returned after collecting details about the current status of the properties. The elderly man associated with one of the patta-holding families died suddenly afterward.
Villagers claimed that the elderly man was under stress over the inspection and possible land measurement. However, there is no official confirmation that the inspection caused his death.
Land Pattas Were Granted in 1976
According to available information, several land pattas were approved for villagers in 1976 by the then village head. A local resident later submitted a complaint to the municipal authorities seeking an investigation into the validity of these pattas.
The complainant alleged that the pattas had been granted illegally and demanded that the land be taken back under municipal control.
Families connected with these pattas have reportedly continued to live in the same houses for generations.
Joint Team Conducts Inspection in Sikri Kalan
Following the complaint and a related matter pending before the National Green Tribunal (NGT), Modinagar SDM Komal Singh constituted a team to inspect the site.
The team included municipal employees, Tehsildar Priyanka and a revenue official. Officials visited Sikri Kalan to verify the pattas approved in 1976 and assess the current ground situation before returning to the tehsil.
Elderly Man Dies After Team Leaves
Villagers said the elderly man became worried after learning about the inspection and possible measurement of the land. They claimed he was distressed over the possibility of action concerning the property.
After the inspection team left the village, the elderly man reportedly died suddenly. While villagers have linked the death to the stress caused by the inspection, officials have not confirmed any direct connection.
SDM Says Matter Is Pending Before NGT
Modinagar SDM Komal Singh said the matter is currently pending before the NGT and a written response has to be submitted in the case. The inspection team was sent to Sikri Kalan only to assess the current ground situation and prepare a report.
Officials said further action will depend on the findings of the inspection and the proceedings related to the NGT case.
