जानकारी के अनुसार, वाराणसी के एक स्थानीय बाजार में सब्जी खरीदने के दौरान PAC कांस्टेबल आशुतोष सिंह और सब्जी विक्रेता के बीच सब्जियों के दाम को लेकर कहासुनी हो गई। देखते ही देखते विवाद बढ़ गया और आरोप है कि कांस्टेबल ने सब्जी विक्रेता और उसकी पत्नी के साथ मारपीट कर दी।
घटना की सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और मामले की जांच शुरू की। पीड़ित दंपति की शिकायत के आधार पर आरोपी कांस्टेबल आशुतोष सिंह को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। पुलिस का कहना है कि मामले की गंभीरता से जांच की जा रही है और आवश्यक कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
