मोदीनगर तहसील दिवस में किसानों ने गन्ना भुगतान, बिजली कनेक्शन, जमीन के फर्जी दस्तावेज, जलभराव और आवारा पशुओं का मुद्दा उठाया
मोदीनगर। तहसील दिवस के अवसर पर शनिवार को भारतीय किसान यूनियन (टिकैत) के कार्यकर्ता और बड़ी संख्या में किसान अपनी विभिन्न समस्याओं को लेकर मोदीनगर तहसील पहुंचे। किसानों ने एसडीएम से मुलाकात कर क्षेत्र से जुड़ी कई महत्वपूर्ण समस्याएं उनके सामने रखीं और उनका जल्द निस्तारण कराने की मांग की।
मोदी शुगर मिल से ब्याज भुगतान का मुद्दा उठाया
भाकियू टिकैत के पदाधिकारियों ने सबसे पहले मोदी शुगर मिल से किसानों के ब्याज भुगतान का मुद्दा उठाया। किसानों का कहना था कि गन्ना भुगतान और ब्याज से संबंधित समस्याओं का जल्द समाधान कराया जाना चाहिए।
किसानों ने एसडीएम के सामने अपनी मांग रखते हुए कहा कि भुगतान में हो रही समस्याओं का समाधान किया जाए, ताकि किसानों को आर्थिक परेशानियों का सामना न करना पड़े। इस मामले में प्रशासन से आवश्यक कार्रवाई की मांग की गई।
बिना अनुमति बिजली कनेक्शन का लोड बढ़ाने की शिकायत
मोदीनगर तहसील दिवस में किसानों ने बिजली विभाग की कार्यप्रणाली को लेकर भी शिकायत दर्ज कराई। किसानों का आरोप है कि विभाग द्वारा कई उपभोक्ताओं की सहमति के बिना बिजली कनेक्शन का लोड बढ़ाया जा रहा है।
किसानों ने मांग की कि किसी भी उपभोक्ता की अनुमति के बिना बिजली लोड बढ़ाने की प्रक्रिया तत्काल रोकी जाए। साथ ही मामले की जांच कर जिम्मेदार लोगों के खिलाफ आवश्यक कार्रवाई की जाए।
किसानों की जमीन से जुड़े कथित फर्जी दस्तावेजों का मामला
भाकियू टिकैत के कार्यकर्ताओं ने मोदीनगर क्षेत्र में किसानों की जमीन से जुड़े कथित फर्जी दस्तावेज तैयार कर जमीन की खरीद-फरोख्त किए जाने का मुद्दा भी प्रमुखता से उठाया।
किसानों का कहना था कि इस तरह की गतिविधियों पर तत्काल रोक लगाई जानी चाहिए। उन्होंने जमीनों से संबंधित दस्तावेजों की जांच कराने और मामले में दोषी पाए जाने वाले लोगों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करने की मांग की।
जलभराव और नालों की सफाई की मांग
बारिश के बाद क्षेत्र में होने वाले जलभराव की समस्या भी तहसील दिवस में प्रमुख मुद्दा रही। किसानों ने प्रशासन से क्षेत्र के सभी नालों और जल निकासी के रास्तों की सफाई और मरम्मत कराने की मांग की।
किसानों का कहना था कि जल निकासी व्यवस्था दुरुस्त नहीं होने के कारण बारिश के दौरान खेतों और आबादी वाले इलाकों में जलभराव की स्थिति पैदा हो जाती है। उन्होंने समस्या के स्थायी समाधान के लिए नालों की नियमित सफाई कराने की मांग की।
आवारा पशुओं से फसलों को नुकसान होने की शिकायत
किसानों ने सड़कों और खेतों के आसपास घूम रहे आवारा पशुओं की समस्या भी एसडीएम के सामने रखी। किसानों का कहना था कि आवारा पशु खेतों में घुसकर फसलों को नुकसान पहुंचा रहे हैं।
उन्होंने मांग की कि आवारा पशुओं को पकड़कर गौशालाओं में भेजा जाए, ताकि किसानों की फसलों को होने वाले नुकसान को रोका जा सके और उन्हें आर्थिक हानि से बचाया जा सके।
प्राथमिकता के आधार पर कार्रवाई की मांग
भाकियू टिकैत के कार्यकर्ताओं और किसानों ने एसडीएम से सभी समस्याओं का प्राथमिकता के आधार पर निस्तारण कराने की मांग की।
एसडीएम ने किसानों की शिकायतों को सुनते हुए संबंधित विभागों के अधिकारियों को आवश्यक कार्रवाई के निर्देश देने का आश्वासन दिया। किसानों ने उम्मीद जताई कि तहसील दिवस में उठाई गई समस्याओं का जल्द समाधान किया जाएगा।

Farmers raise concerns over sugar mill payments, electricity connections, alleged fake land documents, waterlogging and stray cattle
Modinagar: Workers and farmers associated with the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Tikait) reached the Modinagar Tehsil on Saturday during Tehsil Diwas and raised several issues affecting farmers in the region.
The farmers met the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) and submitted their concerns regarding sugar mill payments, electricity connections, alleged fake land documents, waterlogging and stray cattle. They demanded that the administration take prompt action and resolve the issues on priority.
Farmers raise Modi Sugar Mill payment issue
BKU Tikait representatives first raised concerns regarding interest payments related to Modi Sugar Mill. Farmers said that issues related to sugarcane payments and interest should be resolved at the earliest.
They urged the administration to take necessary action so that farmers do not continue to face financial difficulties due to pending payment-related concerns.
Complaint over electricity load increase
Farmers also raised concerns about the functioning of the electricity department. They alleged that the electricity load of several consumers was being increased without their consent.
The farmers demanded that any process of increasing electricity connection load without the permission of consumers should be stopped immediately. They also sought an investigation into the matter and appropriate action against those found responsible.
Alleged fake documents related to farmers’ land
Another major issue raised during the Modinagar Tehsil Diwas was the alleged preparation of fake documents related to farmers’ land and the subsequent sale and purchase of such properties.
The farmers demanded an immediate halt to such activities. They urged the administration to verify land-related documents and take strict action against anyone found involved in illegal activities.
Demand for drainage and waterlogging solution
Waterlogging following rainfall and the poor condition of drainage systems were also discussed during the meeting.
Farmers demanded proper cleaning and maintenance of drains and water discharge routes across the Modinagar area. They said that an improved drainage system is necessary to prevent waterlogging in agricultural fields and residential areas during heavy rainfall.
Farmers seek action against stray cattle
The issue of stray cattle damaging crops was also raised before the SDM. Farmers said that stray animals frequently enter agricultural fields and cause significant damage to crops, resulting in financial losses.
They demanded that stray cattle roaming on roads and near agricultural areas should be captured and shifted to cow shelters.
BKU Tikait demands priority action
BKU Tikait workers and farmers demanded that all the issues raised during the Tehsil Diwas should be addressed on priority.
After hearing the complaints, the SDM assured the farmers that the concerns would be forwarded to the concerned departments and necessary action would be initiated.
The farmers expressed hope that the issues raised during the Modinagar Tehsil Diwas would be resolved at the earliest.
