मेरठ वाइफ बोनट केस: उत्तर प्रदेश के मेरठ में पति को दूसरी महिला के साथ कार में देखने के बाद एक महिला के कार के बोनट पर लटकने का मामला सामने आया है। घटना का वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल होने के बाद पुलिस ने महिला के पति और कार में मौजूद दूसरी महिला को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। पुलिस ने घटना में इस्तेमाल कार को भी जब्त कर लिया है।
मेरठ में पति को दूसरी महिला के साथ देख पत्नी ने रोकी कार
मामला मेरठ के लोहियानगर थाना क्षेत्र के हापुड़ रोड का है। पुलिस और शिकायत के अनुसार, सुनीता नाम की महिला को जानकारी मिली थी कि उसका पति मयंक सिंह एक दूसरी महिला के साथ कार में मौजूद है। इसके बाद सुनीता हापुड़ रोड पहुंची और उसने कार में मयंक के साथ मौजूद महिला से बातचीत की।
रिपोर्टों के अनुसार, महिला की पहचान माही वर्मा के रूप में हुई है। सुनीता ने कार को रोकने और माही को बाहर निकालने की कोशिश की, जिसके बाद पति-पत्नी के बीच विवाद शुरू हो गया।
चलती कार के बोनट पर लटकी रही महिला
विवाद के दौरान मयंक ने कथित तौर पर कार को आगे बढ़ा दिया। सुनीता कार के सामने थी और इसके बाद वह कार के बोनट पर आ गई। वायरल वीडियो में महिला को चलती कार के बोनट को पकड़े हुए और मदद के लिए आवाज लगाते हुए देखा जा सकता है।
इस घटना को लेकर अलग-अलग मीडिया रिपोर्टों में कार के चलने की दूरी अलग बताई गई है। कुछ रिपोर्टों में करीब 100 मीटर, जबकि अन्य में करीब 1 किलोमीटर या कई किलोमीटर तक की जानकारी दी गई है। इसलिए पुलिस जांच पूरी होने तक किसी एक दूरी को निश्चित तथ्य के रूप में कहना उचित नहीं होगा।
महिला ने पति पर गंभीर आरोप लगाए
सुनीता ने पुलिस को दी शिकायत में आरोप लगाया कि मयंक ने कार चलाकर उसे हटाने की कोशिश की। उसने यह भी आरोप लगाया कि कार को डिवाइडर की ओर ले जाकर उसे गिराने की कोशिश की गई। इसके अलावा शिकायत में मारपीट समेत अन्य आरोप भी लगाए गए हैं।
हालांकि, ये शिकायत में लगाए गए आरोप हैं। पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही है और वायरल वीडियो तथा उपलब्ध साक्ष्यों के आधार पर घटना के पूरे क्रम की पुष्टि की जा रही है।
पति और दूसरी महिला गिरफ्तार
मेरठ पुलिस ने मामले में मयंक सिंह और माही वर्मा को गिरफ्तार किया है। घटना में इस्तेमाल कार को भी पुलिस ने जब्त कर लिया है। पुलिस के अनुसार, सुनीता की शिकायत के आधार पर BNS की धारा 109(1) और 352 के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया है। धारा 109(1) हत्या के प्रयास से संबंधित है, जबकि धारा 352 जानबूझकर अपमान करने से संबंधित है।
पुलिस अब वायरल वीडियो, शिकायत और अन्य उपलब्ध तथ्यों के आधार पर पूरे मामले की जांच कर रही है।
शादी और पुराने विवाद की भी सामने आई जानकारी
पुलिस के अनुसार, सुनीता और मयंक की शादी कई साल पहले हुई थी और दोनों के बीच पहले भी वैवाहिक विवाद की बात सामने आई थी। रिपोर्टों में दोनों के बच्चों का भी उल्लेख किया गया है। हालांकि, शादी का वर्ष और अलग रहने की अवधि को लेकर विभिन्न रिपोर्टों में अंतर है, इसलिए इन विवरणों को पुलिस की अंतिम पुष्टि के बिना निश्चित तथ्य के रूप में नहीं रखा जा रहा है।
वायरल हुआ मेरठ कार बोनट वीडियो
घटना का वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर सामने आने के बाद यह मामला तेजी से चर्चा में आया। वीडियो में महिला कार के बोनट पर दिखाई देती है, जबकि कार आगे बढ़ती नजर आती है। स्थानीय लोगों के हस्तक्षेप के बाद वाहन को रोका गया और महिला को कार से नीचे उतारा गया। पुलिस ने वीडियो और घटनाक्रम की जांच शुरू कर दी है।
फिलहाल पुलिस ने पति और दूसरी महिला को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है तथा कार को कब्जे में लिया गया है। मामले की आगे की जांच जारी है।

Woman Confronts Husband on Hapur Road
The incident took place in the Lohianagar police station area of Meerut, on Hapur Road. According to the police and the woman’s complaint, Sunita confronted her husband Mayank Singh after allegedly finding him inside a car with another woman.
The woman travelling with Mayank has been identified in reports as Mahi Verma. Sunita reportedly confronted the two and tried to stop the vehicle, following which an argument broke out.
Woman Clings to Moving Car Bonnet
According to the complaint, Mayank allegedly drove the car away while Sunita was in front of the vehicle. She ended up on the bonnet and held on as the car moved.
A purported video of the incident shows the woman clinging to the front of the moving vehicle and calling for help. Passers-by eventually intervened and the car was stopped.
Reports differ on the exact distance travelled by the vehicle. Some reports mention around 100 metres, while others describe the distance as nearly one kilometre or several kilometres. Therefore, the exact distance remains unclear and should not be treated as conclusively established until confirmed by the investigation.
Wife Makes Serious Allegations Against Husband
Sunita alleged in her complaint that her husband attempted to drive the vehicle in a manner that could have caused her serious harm. She also alleged that the car was twice driven towards a divider in an attempt to dislodge her.
These remain allegations made in the complaint, and police are investigating the incident, including the video footage and the sequence of events.
Husband and Other Woman Arrested
Lohianagar police arrested Mayank Singh and Mahi Verma in connection with the case. The vehicle allegedly involved in the incident was also seized.
Police said a case was registered on the basis of Sunita’s complaint under Sections 109(1) and 352 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Section 109(1) relates to attempt to murder, while Section 352 concerns intentional insult with intent to provoke a breach of peace.
