मोदीनगर/मुरादनगर: तहसील दिवस के दौरान सोमवार को उस समय हंगामा जैसी स्थिति बन गई, जब मुरादनगर की शिवम विहार कॉलोनी में नाली और खड़ंजे की समस्या को लेकर शिकायत करने पहुंचे मोदीनगर तहसील के अधिवक्ताओं की मुरादनगर नगर पालिका के अधिशासी अधिकारी (EO) से तीखी बहस हो गई।
मामला इतना बढ़ गया कि मौके पर मौजूद एसडीएम के सामने ही दोनों पक्षों के बीच काफी देर तक नोकझोंक होती रही। घटना के दौरान तहसील दिवस का माहौल कुछ समय के लिए गर्म हो गया।
शिवम विहार कॉलोनी की खराब व्यवस्था को लेकर पहुंची शिकायत
जानकारी के अनुसार, मुरादनगर स्थित शिवम विहार कॉलोनी में लंबे समय से नाली और खड़ंजे की समस्या बनी हुई है। कॉलोनी की खराब स्थिति के कारण स्थानीय लोगों को परेशानियों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है।
इसी समस्या को लेकर मोदीनगर तहसील के अधिवक्ताओं ने सोमवार को आयोजित तहसील दिवस में शिकायत दर्ज कराई। शिकायत के दौरान कॉलोनी की मूलभूत सुविधाओं और स्थानीय निवासियों को हो रही परेशानी का मुद्दा अधिकारियों के सामने रखा गया।
EO ने बजट नहीं होने की बात कही
शिकायत पर चर्चा के दौरान मुरादनगर नगर पालिका के EO की ओर से कथित तौर पर कहा गया कि नगर पालिका के पास इस कार्य को कराने के लिए फिलहाल बजट उपलब्ध नहीं है।
इसके बाद बातचीत के दौरान विवाद बढ़ गया। अधिवक्ताओं का आरोप है कि शिकायत के जवाब में EO ने कथित तौर पर उनसे कहा कि “जो करना है कर लो, जहां शिकायत करनी है कर लो।”
इस कथित जवाब को लेकर अधिवक्ता नाराज हो गए और उन्होंने अधिकारी के बात करने के तरीके पर कड़ी आपत्ति जताई।
एसडीएम के सामने EO और अधिवक्ताओं में नोकझोंक
अधिवक्ताओं ने कहा कि किसी भी शिकायतकर्ता से इस प्रकार की भाषा में बात करना उचित नहीं है। उनका कहना था कि सक्षम अधिकारी को अपने पद की गरिमा और बातचीत की भाषा का ध्यान रखना चाहिए।
इसी मुद्दे को लेकर EO और अधिवक्ताओं के बीच तीखी बहस शुरू हो गई। बताया गया कि मोदीनगर तहसील बार अध्यक्ष भी इस शिकायत को लेकर अधिवक्ताओं के साथ मौजूद थे।
एसडीएम के सामने ही दोनों पक्षों के बीच काफी देर तक नोकझोंक होती रही। अधिवक्ताओं ने EO के व्यवहार पर नाराजगी जताते हुए कहा कि शिकायतों के समाधान की दिशा में कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए।
अधिकारियों ने स्थिति शांत कराने का किया प्रयास
घटना के दौरान मौके पर मौजूद लोगों ने दोनों पक्षों को बहस करते हुए देखा। मामला बढ़ता देख वहां मौजूद अधिकारियों और अन्य लोगों ने स्थिति को शांत कराने का प्रयास किया।
अधिवक्ताओं ने स्पष्ट किया कि उनका उद्देश्य किसी अधिकारी के साथ विवाद करना नहीं है, बल्कि शिवम विहार कॉलोनी की नाली और खड़ंजे की समस्या का स्थायी समाधान कराना है।
उन्होंने संबंधित विभाग और अधिकारियों से जल्द आवश्यक कार्रवाई करने की मांग की।
काफी देर तक गर्म रहा तहसील दिवस का माहौल
वहीं, EO की ओर से कार्य के लिए बजट उपलब्ध नहीं होने की बात कही गई। इस पूरे घटनाक्रम के कारण तहसील दिवस में काफी देर तक माहौल गर्म रहा।
अब स्थानीय लोगों और शिकायतकर्ताओं की नजर इस बात पर है कि शिवम विहार कॉलोनी की नाली और खड़ंजे की समस्या के समाधान के लिए प्रशासन और नगर पालिका की ओर से आगे क्या कार्रवाई की जाती है।

Modinagar/Muradnagar: A heated situation emerged during Tehsil Diwas on Monday when lawyers from Modinagar Tehsil allegedly got into a sharp argument with the Executive Officer (EO) of Muradnagar Nagar Palika over complaints regarding drainage and road issues in Shivam Vihar Colony.
The argument reportedly continued for a considerable time in front of the SDM, creating a tense atmosphere during the public grievance hearing.
Lawyers Raise Complaint About Drainage and Road Problems
According to the information available, residents of Shivam Vihar Colony in Muradnagar have been facing problems related to drainage and damaged road infrastructure, including the kharanja road.
Lawyers from Modinagar Tehsil raised the issue during Tehsil Diwas and highlighted the poor condition of the colony and the difficulties being faced by local residents.
The complainants demanded that the concerned authorities take appropriate steps to resolve the long-standing civic issues.
EO Cites Lack of Budget for the Work
During the discussion, the Executive Officer of Muradnagar Nagar Palika reportedly stated that there was currently no budget available for carrying out the required work.
The situation escalated following an alleged exchange of words between the EO and the lawyers.
According to the lawyers, the officer allegedly told them, “Do whatever you want and complain wherever you want.”
The alleged remark angered the lawyers, who objected to the manner in which they claimed the official responded to their complaint.
Sharp Exchange Takes Place in Front of SDM
The lawyers said that government officials should maintain proper language and dignity while dealing with complainants and members of the public.
A heated argument subsequently broke out between the lawyers and the EO. The President of the Modinagar Tehsil Bar was also reportedly present along with the lawyers during the complaint.
Both sides continued arguing for some time in front of the SDM, while the lawyers expressed dissatisfaction over the alleged response of the municipal official.
Officials Attempt to Calm the Situation
As the argument intensified, other officials and people present at the venue reportedly attempted to calm the situation.
The lawyers said that their purpose was not to create a dispute with any official but to ensure that the residents of Shivam Vihar Colony receive a proper and permanent solution to their civic problems.
They demanded necessary action to address the drainage and kharanja road issues in Shivam Vihar Colony.
Atmosphere Remains Tense During Tehsil Diwas
Meanwhile, the EO maintained that budget constraints were an issue in carrying out the required work.
The matter kept the atmosphere tense at Tehsil Diwas for some time. Residents and complainants are now awaiting further action from the concerned administration and Muradnagar Nagar Palika regarding a permanent solution to the infrastructure problems in Shivam Vihar Colony.
