मोदीनगर | गाजियाबाद: मोदीनगर थाना क्षेत्र की नंद नगरी कॉलोनी से 14 जुलाई से लापता एक युवती का अब तक कोई सुराग नहीं लगने पर सोमवार को परिजनों और स्थानीय लोगों का आक्रोश फूट पड़ा। बड़ी संख्या में लोग मोदीनगर थाने पहुंचे और युवती की जल्द बरामदगी की मांग को लेकर प्रदर्शन किया। परिजनों का आरोप है कि शिकायत दर्ज होने के कई दिन बाद भी युवती का कोई पता नहीं चल सका है।
14 जुलाई से लापता है युवती
जानकारी के अनुसार, नंद नगरी कॉलोनी निवासी युवती 14 जुलाई को घर से निकली थी, जिसके बाद वह वापस नहीं लौटी। परिवार ने पहले अपने स्तर पर रिश्तेदारों, परिचितों और संभावित स्थानों पर उसकी तलाश की, लेकिन कोई सफलता नहीं मिली। इसके बाद पुलिस को गुमशुदगी की सूचना देकर कार्रवाई की मांग की गई।
परिजनों ने पुलिस से लगाई गुहार
परिवार का कहना है कि कई दिन बीत जाने के बावजूद युवती का कोई सुराग नहीं मिला है। इससे परिवार गहरे सदमे और चिंता में है। परिजनों ने पुलिस प्रशासन से मामले को प्राथमिकता के आधार पर लेते हुए युवती की सकुशल बरामदगी सुनिश्चित करने की मांग की है।
थाने पहुंचे हिंदू जागरण मंच के पदाधिकारी
मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए हिंदू जागरण मंच के सह संयोजक पंकज शर्मा भी मोदीनगर थाने पहुंचे। उन्होंने पुलिस अधिकारियों से बातचीत कर जल्द कार्रवाई की मांग की। पंकज शर्मा ने कहा कि यदि 21 जुलाई की शाम तक युवती की बरामदगी नहीं होती है, तो हिंदू जागरण मंच कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ मोदीनगर थाने पर धरना-प्रदर्शन करेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसी स्थिति में कानून-व्यवस्था की जिम्मेदारी प्रशासन की होगी।
पुलिस का क्या कहना है?
पुलिस अधिकारियों के अनुसार, युवती की तलाश के लिए लगातार विभिन्न संभावित स्थानों पर छानबीन की जा रही है। पुलिस तकनीकी साक्ष्यों, सीसीटीवी फुटेज और अन्य जांच माध्यमों की मदद से मामले की जांच आगे बढ़ा रही है। अधिकारियों का कहना है कि मामले के हर पहलू की गंभीरता से जांच की जा रही है और युवती का जल्द पता लगाने का प्रयास जारी है।

Modinagar, Ghaziabad: Tension prevailed at the Modinagar Police Station on Monday after the family members and local residents of a girl who has been missing since July 14 staged a protest demanding immediate action. The family alleged that despite filing a missing person complaint several days ago, the police have not yet traced the young woman.
Girl Missing Since July 14
According to available information, the girl, a resident of Nand Nagri Colony in Modinagar, left her home on July 14 and never returned. Her family initially searched for her among relatives, friends, and other possible locations but found no clue. They later lodged a missing person report with the police.
Family Seeks Immediate Police Action
The family said they are deeply distressed as several days have passed without any information regarding her whereabouts. They urged the police administration to treat the case as a priority and ensure her safe recovery at the earliest.
Hindu Jagran Manch Extends Support
Hindu Jagran Manch Co-Convenor Pankaj Sharma also reached the police station and held discussions with police officials. He demanded effective action and stated that if the girl is not traced by the evening of July 21, the organization will launch a protest outside the Modinagar Police Station. He added that the administration would be responsible for any law-and-order situation arising thereafter.
Police Investigation Underway
Police officials stated that search operations are continuing at multiple possible locations. They said technical evidence, CCTV footage, and other investigative methods are being used to trace the missing girl. According to the police, all possible angles are being examined and efforts are underway to locate her as soon as possible.
