मोदीनगर। शहर कांग्रेस कमेटी मोदीनगर ने गांधी ग्राउंड में सिंथेटिक एथलेटिक्स ट्रैक के निर्माण तथा तहसील क्षेत्र के सभी विद्यालयों में NCERT पाठ्यक्रम सुनिश्चित रूप से लागू करने की मांग को लेकर शुक्रवार को तहसील परिसर में प्रदर्शन किया। प्रदर्शन के बाद कांग्रेस प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने एसडीएम मोदीनगर को ज्ञापन सौंपकर दोनों मांगों पर शीघ्र कार्रवाई की मांग की।
प्रदर्शन का नेतृत्व शहर कांग्रेस कमेटी के अध्यक्ष बृजेश कुमार सेन और उत्तर प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी (PCC) के सदस्य सुनील शर्मा ने किया।
कांग्रेस नेताओं ने बताया कि पार्टी मार्च 2026 से लगातार प्रशासन को पत्र लिखकर सभी स्कूलों में NCERT पाठ्यक्रम लागू करने की मांग कर रही है, ताकि “एक देश, एक शिक्षा” की अवधारणा को प्रभावी रूप से लागू किया जा सके। इसके बावजूद अभी तक इस दिशा में कोई ठोस कदम नहीं उठाया गया है।
शहर अध्यक्ष बृजेश कुमार सेन ने कहा कि गांधी ग्राउंड वर्षों से सरकारी उपेक्षा का शिकार है। मैदान की स्थिति लगातार खराब होती जा रही है, जिससे खिलाड़ियों को अभ्यास करने में कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि स्थानीय खिलाड़ी लंबे समय से सिंथेटिक ट्रैक की मांग कर रहे हैं, लेकिन शासन और प्रशासन ने अब तक इस पर कोई सकारात्मक निर्णय नहीं लिया है।
वहीं PCC सदस्य सुनील शर्मा ने कहा कि मोदीनगर में शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य और खेल सुविधाओं की लगातार अनदेखी की जा रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि युवाओं के हितों की रक्षा के लिए गांधी ग्राउंड में आधुनिक सिंथेटिक ट्रैक का निर्माण और सभी स्कूलों में NCERT पाठ्यक्रम लागू किया जाना आवश्यक है। उन्होंने कहा कि कांग्रेस पार्टी युवाओं के अधिकारों और बेहतर शिक्षा व्यवस्था के लिए लगातार संघर्ष करती रहेगी।
ज्ञापन सौंपने के दौरान ब्लॉक अध्यक्ष चांद वीर चौधरी, अभिनव शर्मा, रजनी शर्मा, ममता शर्मा, समसा खान, रिहाना, विनोद कुमार गुप्ता, जाकिर हुसैन, मनीष शर्मा, कामेश शर्मा, रामकिशन शर्मा, ओमपाल शर्मा, महेशदत्त शर्मा, सीताराम शर्मा, अनस सैफी, विशाल कौशिक, प्रवीण शर्मा, आकाश कुमार, रविंद्र कुमार शर्मा, सुरेश दोसा, चौधरी जगपाल सिंह, वेद प्रकाश कोरी, कौशल जाटव, रियासत सैफी, फकीरचंद कश्यप, दीपक प्रजापति और जहूर अहमद सहित कई कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ता उपस्थित रहे।
Modinagar Congress Protests, Demands Synthetic Track at Gandhi Ground and NCERT Curriculum in Schools
Modinagar, Uttar Pradesh: The Modinagar City Congress Committee staged a protest at the Tehsil premises, demanding the construction of a synthetic athletics track at Gandhi Ground and the implementation of the NCERT curriculum in all schools under the Modinagar Tehsil. Following the protest, party leaders submitted a memorandum to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Modinagar.
The demonstration was led by City Congress President Brijesh Kumar Sen and Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) member Sunil Sharma.
According to Congress leaders, the party has been submitting representations to the administration since March 2026, urging authorities to ensure the implementation of the NCERT curriculum across all schools in line with the vision of “One Nation, One Education.” They alleged that no concrete action has been taken despite repeated requests.
Addressing the gathering, Brijesh Kumar Sen said Gandhi Ground has deteriorated due to years of neglect by the government and public representatives. He stated that athletes have been demanding a synthetic running track for several years, but their demands have remained unfulfilled.
PCC member Sunil Sharma said the administration has failed to give adequate attention to education, healthcare, and sports infrastructure in Modinagar. He emphasized that constructing a synthetic athletics track and implementing the NCERT curriculum would benefit students and young athletes. He added that the Congress Party would continue to raise issues concerning youth welfare and quality education.
Several Congress leaders and workers, including Chand Veer Chaudhary, Abhinav Sharma, Rajni Sharma, Mamta Sharma, Samsa Khan, Rehana, Vinod Kumar Gupta, Zakir Hussain, Manish Sharma, Kamesh Sharma, Ramkishan Sharma, Ompal Sharma, Mahesh Dutt Sharma, Sitaram Sharma, Anas Saifi, Vishal Kaushik, Praveen Sharma, Akash Kumar, Ravindra Kumar Sharma, Suresh Dosa, Chaudhary Jagpal Singh, Ved Prakash Kori, Kaushal Jatav, Riyasat Saifi, Fakir Chand Kashyap, Deepak Prajapati, and Zahoor Ahmad were present during the protest.
