घर के बाहर शराब पीने और शोर मचाने का विरोध करना पड़ा भारी, सात आरोपी गिरफ्तार
नई दिल्ली: राजधानी दिल्ली के किलोकरी गांव में एक दर्दनाक घटना सामने आई है, जहां घर के बाहर शराब पीने और शोर-शराबा करने का विरोध करने पर एक 54 वर्षीय मणिपुरी संगीतकार की कथित तौर पर पीट-पीटकर हत्या कर दी गई। मृतक की पहचान सी विक्रम सिंह के रूप में हुई है।
पुलिस ने इस मामले में कार्रवाई करते हुए सात लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है, जबकि एक नाबालिग को भी हिरासत में लिया गया है।
घर के बाहर शराब पी रहे थे आरोपी
पुलिस अधिकारियों के अनुसार, सी विक्रम सिंह कई वर्षों से दिल्ली के किलोकरी गांव में रह रहे थे। वह मेइती समुदाय से संबंध रखते थे।
बताया गया कि सोमवार तड़के कुछ लोग सिंह के घर के बाहर शराब पी रहे थे और तेज आवाज में शोर-शराबा कर रहे थे। विक्रम सिंह ने कथित तौर पर उन्हें ऐसा करने से रोकने और शोर कम करने के लिए कहा।
इसी बात को लेकर विवाद बढ़ गया।
मुक्कों और लातों से किया गया हमला
पुलिस की प्रारंभिक जांच में सामने आया कि विक्रम सिंह के विरोध करने के बाद वहां मौजूद लोगों ने कथित तौर पर उन पर हमला कर दिया। आरोप है कि हमलावरों ने उन्हें मुक्कों और घूंसों से बुरी तरह पीटा।
हमले में विक्रम सिंह गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए।
घटना की सूचना मिलने के बाद उनके बेटे याइफाबा उन्हें तुरंत होली फैमिली अस्पताल लेकर पहुंचे। हालांकि इलाज के दौरान विक्रम सिंह ने दम तोड़ दिया।
PCR कॉल के बाद पुलिस ने शुरू की जांच
इस घटना की सूचना मिलने के बाद सनलाइट कॉलोनी पुलिस स्टेशन को PCR कॉल प्राप्त हुई। इसके बाद पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और मामले की जांच शुरू की।
पुलिस अब यह पता लगाने में जुटी है कि विवाद किस तरह शुरू हुआ और किन परिस्थितियों में विक्रम सिंह पर हमला किया गया।
मामले में पुलिस ने सात आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है और एक नाबालिग को भी पकड़ा गया है।
मणिपुरी समुदाय के सम्मानित संगीतकार थे विक्रम सिंह
दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय की नॉर्थ ईस्ट स्टूडेंट्स सोसाइटी (NESSDU) ने विक्रम सिंह की मौत पर गहरा दुख जताया है।
छात्र संगठन ने उन्हें एक सम्मानित मणिपुरी संगीतकार बताया और इस घटना को हिंसा का एक बेहद दुखद और संवेदनहीन मामला बताया।
NESSDU के अनुसार, रिपोर्टों में कहा गया है कि विक्रम सिंह अपने घर के बाहर मौजूद कुछ लोगों द्वारा शराब पीने और हंगामा करने के बाद नीचे गए थे। उन्होंने लोगों से शोर कम करने का अनुरोध किया था, जिसके बाद कथित तौर पर उन पर हमला किया गया।
आरोपियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की मांग
नॉर्थ ईस्ट स्टूडेंट्स सोसाइटी ने अधिकारियों से मामले की तेज, निष्पक्ष और गहन जांच कराने की मांग की है।
संगठन ने कहा कि इस घटना के लिए जिम्मेदार लोगों को कानून के तहत जवाबदेह ठहराया जाना चाहिए।

New Delhi: A 54-year-old Manipuri musician allegedly died after being brutally assaulted by a group of men outside his residence in Delhi’s Kilokari village. The incident reportedly took place after he objected to people drinking alcohol and creating a disturbance outside his apartment.
Police have arrested seven people in connection with the case, while one juvenile has been apprehended.
Victim Objected to Drinking and Noise Outside His Home
The deceased has been identified as C Vikram Singh, a native of Manipur who had been living in Kilokari village for several years.
According to police, Singh belonged to the Meitei community. A preliminary investigation revealed that he objected to a group of men allegedly drinking alcohol, shouting and creating a nuisance outside his residence during the early hours of Monday.
An argument reportedly followed, which escalated into a violent assault.
Vikram Singh Allegedly Attacked With Blows and Punches
Police said the men allegedly attacked Singh and repeatedly hit him with blows and punches, leaving him seriously injured.
Following the assault, Singh’s son, Yaiphaba, rushed him to Holy Family Hospital for treatment. However, the 54-year-old musician later succumbed to his injuries.
The incident was reported to the police through a PCR call received by the Sunlight Colony Police Station.
Seven Accused Arrested, Juvenile Apprehended
Delhi Police launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the assault and the subsequent death of Vikram Singh.
Officials have arrested seven accused persons, while one juvenile has also been apprehended in connection with the case.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are examining the sequence of events that led to the alleged attack.
Student Body Condoles Death of Manipuri Musician
The North East Students Society, Delhi University (NESSDU) expressed grief over the death of Vikram Singh and described him as a respected Manipuri musician.
The student organisation said that Singh reportedly went downstairs after a group of men allegedly drinking outside his residence created a disturbance.
According to the organisation, Singh requested the men to reduce the noise, following which he was allegedly attacked and suffered severe injuries.
NESSDU described the incident as a “senseless act of violence” and urged authorities to conduct a swift, fair and thorough investigation.
Demand for Swift Action Against Those Responsible
The student organisation has demanded accountability and strict action against those responsible for the death of the Manipuri musician.
Police are continuing their investigation into the case and are expected to take further legal action based on the evidence collected during the probe.
