घटना के करीब 9 महीने बाद पुलिस ने आरोपी को देहरादून से गिरफ्तार किया। उसकी निशानदेही पर खेत से एक कंकाल बरामद किया गया, जिससे मामले का पर्दाफाश हुआ।
हत्या की पूरी कहानी (छेड़छाड़ का बदला)
आरोपी रामू के अनुसार, मृतक ओमवीर उसका दोस्त था। वह उसे अपनी बहन की ससुराल लेकर गया था, जहां ओमवीर ने उसकी बहन से छेड़छाड़ की। इस घटना को ससुराल वालों ने भी देख लिया, जिससे रिश्तों में तनाव पैदा हो गया।
इसी रंजिश में रामू ने हत्या की साजिश रची और सुरजीत यादव को अपने साथ मिला लिया। घटना वाले दिन उसने ओमवीर को अपने खेत पर बुलाया, पहले शराब पिलाई और फिर गमछे से गला घोंटकर उसकी हत्या कर दी। इसके बाद शव को मक्के के खेत में दफना दिया।

पत्नी की संघर्ष भरी लड़ाई
मृतक की पत्नी पिछले 9 महीनों से अपने पति की तलाश में अधिकारियों के चक्कर लगा रही थी। मुख्यमंत्री कार्यालय में शिकायत के बाद पुलिस सक्रिय हुई और मामला सामने आया।
यह घटना अमृतपुर थाना क्षेत्र के गुजरपुर पमारान गांव की है। पुलिस ने आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है और मामले की आगे जांच जारी है।

After about 9 months, police arrested the accused from Dehradun. Based on his information, a skeleton was recovered from the field, exposing the crime.

According to the accused Ramu, the victim Omveer was his friend. He had taken him to his sister’s in-laws’ house, where Omveer allegedly misbehaved with his sister. This was also seen by the family, which created tension.
Because of this, Ramu planned the murder and involved Surjit Yadav. On the day of the incident, he called Omveer to his field, made him drink alcohol, and then strangled him with a cloth. After killing him, they buried the body in a maize field.
Wife’s struggle for justice
The victim’s wife had been searching for her husband for the past 9 months and kept visiting officials. After she complained to the Chief Minister’s office, police took action and solved the case.
The incident took place in Gujjarpur Pamaran village under Amritpur police station. Police have arrested the accused, and further investigation is ongoing.
