मोदीनगर में चीनी के स्टॉक की जांच
मोदीनगर। शासन के निर्देश पर रविवार को मोदीनगर में चीनी के स्टॉक और बिक्री व्यवस्था की जांच की गई। उपजिलाधिकारी मोदीनगर और मार्केटिंग इंस्पेक्टर जेपी यादव ने संयुक्त रूप से भगवान गंज मंडी तथा मोदी मंदिर के सामने स्थित पांच चीनी डीलरों के प्रतिष्ठानों का निरीक्षण किया।
जांच के दौरान अधिकारियों ने चीनी डीलरों के स्टॉक, भंडारण, खरीद-बिक्री और ऑनलाइन स्टॉक घोषणा की व्यवस्था की जानकारी ली। डीलरों को शासन द्वारा जारी दिशा-निर्देशों का कड़ाई से पालन करने के निर्देश दिए गए।
चीनी डीलरों के लिए 4000 क्विंटल की स्टॉक सीमा
अधिकारियों ने बताया कि भारत सरकार के खाद्य एवं सार्वजनिक वितरण विभाग की ओर से 29 जुलाई 2026 को जारी आदेश और उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार के खाद्य एवं रसद विभाग के 5 अगस्त 2026 के शासनादेश के तहत चीनी डीलरों के लिए अधिकतम भंडारण सीमा 4000 क्विंटल निर्धारित की गई है।
सभी चीनी डीलरों को निर्धारित स्टॉक सीमा का पालन करने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं। अधिकारियों ने स्पष्ट किया कि निर्धारित सीमा से अधिक चीनी का भंडारण नहीं किया जाना चाहिए।
ऑनलाइन स्टॉक की देनी होगी जानकारी
शासन के निर्देशों के अनुसार 1 अगस्त से 30 नवंबर 2026 तक चीनी की उपलब्धता, भंडारण क्षमता और खरीद-बिक्री से संबंधित अद्यतन जानकारी नियमित रूप से फूड स्टॉक मैनेजमेंट सिस्टम पर दर्ज करनी होगी।
अधिकारियों द्वारा प्रत्येक सप्ताह शुक्रवार को ऑनलाइन दर्ज किए गए स्टॉक की समीक्षा की जाएगी। डीलरों को अपने स्टॉक और बिक्री से संबंधित रिकॉर्ड नियमित रूप से अपडेट रखने को कहा गया है।
कालाबाजारी और जमाखोरी पर होगी कार्रवाई
मोदीनगर तहसील क्षेत्र में कुल छह चीनी डीलर हैं, जबकि दो डीलर मुरादनगर क्षेत्र में संचालित हैं। निरीक्षण के दौरान अधिकारियों ने डीलरों को निर्देश दिया कि क्षेत्र में चीनी की पर्याप्त उपलब्धता है। ऐसे में कालाबाजारी, जमाखोरी या अनियमित बिक्री की शिकायत नहीं मिलनी चाहिए।
अधिकारियों ने चेतावनी दी कि यदि किसी डीलर के खिलाफ कालाबाजारी, जमाखोरी या अनियमित बिक्री की शिकायत मिलती है तो संबंधित के खिलाफ नियमानुसार कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
दो दुकानों पर जीएसटी बिल की फीडिंग में मिली कमी
जांच के दौरान दो दुकानों पर जीएसटी बिल की नियमित फीडिंग नहीं किए जाने की बात सामने आई। इस पर एसडीएम ने मार्केटिंग इंस्पेक्टर को संबंधित डीलरों को नोटिस जारी करने के निर्देश दिए।
अधिकारियों ने सभी चीनी डीलरों से स्टॉक और बिक्री का रिकॉर्ड दुरुस्त रखने तथा शासन के सभी निर्देशों का सख्ती से पालन करने को कहा।

Sugar Stock Inspection Conducted in Modinagar
Modinagar: Acting on government directions, officials conducted an inspection of sugar stocks and sales arrangements in Modinagar on Sunday. The Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Modinagar and Marketing Inspector JP Yadav jointly inspected the establishments of five sugar dealers located at Bhagwan Ganj Mandi and opposite Modi Temple.
During the inspection, officials checked the stock and discussed sugar storage, purchase and sale records, and the online declaration of stocks with the dealers. The dealers were also briefed about the latest government instructions regarding sugar storage and stock management.
Sugar Dealers Directed to Follow 4,000-Quintal Stock Limit
Officials said that under an order issued by the Government of India’s Department of Food and Public Distribution on July 29, 2026, and the Uttar Pradesh Food and Civil Supplies Department’s government order dated August 5, 2026, the maximum storage limit for sugar dealers has been fixed at 4,000 quintals.
All dealers were instructed to strictly comply with the prescribed storage limit and maintain proper records of their sugar stocks.
Online Stock Information to Be Updated Regularly
According to the government directions, sugar dealers will have to regularly update information related to sugar availability, storage capacity, purchases and sales on the Food Stock Management System from August 1 to November 30, 2026.
Officials will review the online stock information every Friday to monitor the availability and movement of sugar stocks in the area.
Warning Against Hoarding and Black Marketing
There are six sugar dealers operating in the Modinagar tehsil area, while two dealers operate in the Muradnagar area.
During the inspection, officials clearly instructed dealers that adequate sugar is available in the market and there should be no complaints of black marketing, hoarding or irregular sales.
Officials warned that strict action would be taken against any dealer found involved in hoarding, black marketing or violating the prescribed sales and storage rules.
GST Bill Feeding Irregularities Found at Two Shops
During the inspection, irregularities were found at two shops where GST bills were not being regularly fed into the records. Following this, the SDM directed the Marketing Inspector to issue notices to the concerned dealers.
Officials also instructed all sugar dealers to keep their stock and sales records updated and ensure strict compliance with all government directions.
