Modinagar illegal pistol youth arrested : मोदीनगर (गाजियाबाद): उत्तर प्रदेश के गाजियाबाद जिले के मोदीनगर थाना क्षेत्र में पुलिस ने अवैध हथियार के साथ एक युवक को गिरफ्तार किया है। आरोपी के पास से .315 बोर का तमंचा और एक जिंदा कारतूस बरामद किया गया है।
पुलिस के अनुसार, 29 मार्च 2026 को थाना मोदीनगर पुलिस टीम क्षेत्र में गश्त कर रही थी। इसी दौरान सूचना के आधार पर सुदामापुरी निवासी सचिन (उम्र लगभग 22 वर्ष) को गिरफ्तार किया गया।
पेट्रोल पंप पर हुआ था विवाद
प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार, आरोपी सचिन का एक पेट्रोल पंप पर पहले तेल भरवाने को लेकर सेल्समैन से विवाद हो गया था। विवाद के दौरान आरोपी ने गुस्से में आकर अपने पास रखा तमंचा निकाल लिया और सेल्समैन को जान से मारने की धमकी दी।
घटना की सूचना मिलने के बाद पुलिस ने तुरंत कार्रवाई करते हुए आरोपी को पकड़ लिया।
पुलिस ने दर्ज किया मामला
पुलिस ने आरोपी के खिलाफ आर्म्स एक्ट और धमकी देने की धाराओं में मामला दर्ज कर लिया है। फिलहाल आरोपी को हिरासत में लेकर उससे पूछताछ की जा रही है और आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई की जा रही है।
पुलिस अधिकारियों का कहना है कि क्षेत्र में अवैध हथियार रखने वालों के खिलाफ अभियान लगातार जारी रहेगा।

Modinagar illegal pistol youth arrested : Police in Modinagar police station area of Ghaziabad district arrested a young man for possessing an illegal firearm. The accused was found carrying a .315 bore country-made pistol and a live cartridge.
According to police officials, the arrest took place on March 29, 2026, when the Modinagar police team was patrolling the area. Acting on information, they detained Sachin (22), a resident of Sudamapuri.
Dispute at Petrol Pump
Reports suggest that the accused got into an argument with a petrol pump salesman over getting fuel filled first. During the altercation, Sachin allegedly pulled out a pistol and threatened to kill the salesman.
After receiving information about the incident, police quickly acted and arrested the accused.
Case Registered
Police have registered a case against the accused under relevant sections of the Arms Act and criminal intimidation. Further investigation is currently underway.
Officials stated that the police are continuing their drive against illegal weapons in the region to maintain law and order.
