मोदीनगर। मोदीनगर तहसील क्षेत्र में कोचिंग संस्थानों की सीलिंग के विरोध में बुधवार को टीचर एंड लाइब्रेरी एसोसिएशन के पदाधिकारियों और शिक्षकों ने प्रदर्शन करते हुए उपजिलाधिकारी (एसडीएम) को ज्ञापन सौंपा। शिक्षकों ने प्रशासन से मांग की कि विद्यार्थियों के भविष्य और शिक्षकों के रोजगार को ध्यान में रखते हुए जल्द से जल्द सील हटाई जाए।
शिक्षकों का कहना है कि 24 जून 2026 से प्रशासन द्वारा बिना पूर्व सूचना के कई कोचिंग संस्थानों और लाइब्रेरी को सील कर दिया गया। इस कार्रवाई के बाद सैकड़ों शिक्षक, कर्मचारी और अन्य स्टाफ बेरोजगारी की स्थिति का सामना कर रहे हैं, जबकि हजारों छात्रों की पढ़ाई भी प्रभावित हो रही है।
बिना नोटिस की कार्रवाई पर जताई नाराजगी
एसोसिएशन के प्रतिनिधियों ने बताया कि मोदीनगर क्षेत्र के अधिकांश कोचिंग संस्थान भूतल पर संचालित किए जा रहे थे। प्रशासन द्वारा अचानक की गई सीलिंग कार्रवाई से सभी संस्थान बंद पड़े हैं। शिक्षकों का आरोप है कि बिना किसी पूर्व नोटिस के की गई कार्रवाई से शिक्षा व्यवस्था और रोजगार दोनों पर प्रतिकूल प्रभाव पड़ा है।
150 से अधिक शिक्षक लगातार कर रहे हैं प्रयास
टीचर एंड लाइब्रेरी एसोसिएशन के अनुसार, 24 जून 2026 से अब तक एसोसिएशन के 150 से अधिक सदस्य लगातार तहसील प्रशासन के समक्ष अपनी बात रख रहे हैं और सीलिंग हटाने की मांग कर रहे हैं। हालांकि अब तक किसी भी संस्थान की सील हटाने की प्रक्रिया शुरू नहीं की गई है।
छात्रों के भविष्य का दिया हवाला
एसोसिएशन पदाधिकारियों ने एसडीएम को सौंपे गए ज्ञापन में कहा कि विद्यालय खुल चुके हैं और नया शैक्षणिक सत्र शुरू हो गया है। ऐसे में कोचिंग संस्थानों के बंद रहने से छात्रों की पढ़ाई प्रभावित हो रही है। उन्होंने प्रशासन से मांग की कि जल्द अनुमति देकर संस्थानों को दोबारा संचालित करने की अनुमति दी जाए।
आंदोलन तेज करने की चेतावनी
शिक्षकों ने कहा कि यदि जल्द उनकी मांगों पर सकारात्मक निर्णय नहीं लिया गया तो एसोसिएशन आगे की रणनीति तैयार कर आंदोलन को और तेज करेगा। उन्होंने प्रशासन से मानवीय और व्यावहारिक दृष्टिकोण अपनाते हुए शीघ्र राहत देने की अपील की।
Teachers Protest Against Sealing of Coaching Institutes in Modinagar, Seek Immediate Relief
Modinagar : Members of the Teachers and Library Association staged a protest against the sealing of coaching institutes in Modinagar and submitted a memorandum to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), requesting the administration to remove the seals at the earliest.
According to the association, several coaching institutes and libraries were sealed by the administration on June 24, 2026, allegedly without prior notice. The teachers claimed that the action has left hundreds of teachers and staff members without work while disrupting the education of thousands of students.
Teachers Raise Objection Over Lack of Prior Notice
Association representatives stated that most coaching institutes in the Modinagar tehsil area were operating on the ground floor. Following the sealing drive, all affected institutes have remained closed. They alleged that the administration carried out the action without issuing prior notices, resulting in financial hardship for teachers and interruptions in students’ academic activities.
Over 150 Members Seeking Administrative Relief
The association said that more than 150 members have been approaching the tehsil administration continuously since June 24, 2026, requesting the removal of the seals. However, no institute has yet been allowed to reopen.
Students’ Academic Session Being Affected
In the memorandum submitted to the SDM, the association emphasized that schools have already reopened and the new academic session has begun. They urged the administration to consider students’ educational interests and permit coaching institutes to resume operations without further delay.
Teachers Warn of Intensified Protest
The teachers stated that if their demands are not addressed soon, they will intensify their protest in the coming days. They appealed to the administration to adopt a practical and humanitarian approach while resolving the issue.
