मोदीनगर। गाजियाबाद के मोदीनगर तहसील परिसर में शनिवार (25 जुलाई 2026) को महिला आयोग की सदस्य हिमानी अग्रवाल ने महिलाओं की शिकायतें सुनीं और संबंधित मामलों में अधिकारियों को आवश्यक कार्रवाई के निर्देश दिए। इसी दौरान एक युवती अपनी मां के साथ वहां पहुंची और अपने दिवंगत भाई की संदिग्ध परिस्थितियों में हुई मौत के मामले में न्याय की गुहार लगाई।
पीड़िता ने बताया कि उसके लगभग 22 वर्षीय भाई की बवाना जल बोर्ड क्षेत्र में संदिग्ध परिस्थितियों में मृत्यु हो गई थी। घटना के बाद से वह अपने भाई की मौत के मामले में एफआईआर दर्ज कराने और निष्पक्ष जांच की मांग को लेकर लगातार अधिकारियों के चक्कर लगा रही है।
युवती का आरोप है कि उसने दिल्ली के छोटे से लेकर बड़े अधिकारियों तक अपनी शिकायत पहुंचाई, लेकिन अब तक उसकी शिकायत पर कोई ठोस कार्रवाई नहीं हुई। उसका कहना है कि वह न्याय की उम्मीद में लगातार दिल्ली और उत्तर प्रदेश के विभिन्न सरकारी कार्यालयों के चक्कर काट रही है।
महिला आयोग की सदस्य हिमानी अग्रवाल के मोदीनगर दौरे की जानकारी मिलने पर पीड़िता अपनी मां के साथ वहां पहुंची और अपनी पूरी बात उनके सामने रखी। पीड़िता के अनुसार, उसे यह कहते हुए वापस भेज दिया गया कि घटना बवाना (दिल्ली) क्षेत्र की है, इसलिए संबंधित एफआईआर दिल्ली में ही दर्ज कराई जाए।
युवती ने यह भी बताया कि वह पहले भी विभिन्न मंचों पर अपनी पीड़ा रख चुकी है और न्याय की मांग कर रही है। उसका कहना है कि कई महीनों से लगातार प्रयास करने के बावजूद उसे अब तक न्याय नहीं मिल सका है।
फिलहाल मामले में संबंधित एजेंसियों की ओर से आधिकारिक रूप से कोई नई कार्रवाई की जानकारी सामने नहीं आई है। पीड़ित परिवार ने मामले की निष्पक्ष जांच और कानूनी कार्रवाई की मांग की है |
Sister Seeks Justice for Brother’s Death, Returns Without Relief from Women’s Commission
Modinagar, Ghaziabad: During the visit of Women’s Commission member Himani Agrawal to the Modinagar Tehsil on July 25, 2026, several women’s grievances were heard and directions for appropriate action were issued. Among those present was a young woman accompanied by her mother, seeking justice for the alleged suspicious death of her brother.
According to the complainant, her 22-year-old brother died under suspicious circumstances in the Bawana Jal Board area of Delhi. Since the incident, she has been trying to register an FIR and secure a fair investigation but claims she has been moving from one government office to another without receiving justice.
The woman stated that she has approached officials at various levels in Delhi regarding the matter. Despite repeated efforts, she alleges that no meaningful action has been taken so far.
After learning about the Women’s Commission member’s visit to Modinagar, she met Himani Agrawal and explained her case. According to the complainant, she was informed that since the incident occurred in Bawana, Delhi, the FIR should be pursued with the concerned authorities in Delhi.
The complainant also stated that she has previously raised the issue on public platforms and continues to seek justice for her late brother. She says that despite months of efforts, she has not received the legal relief she has been seeking.
No fresh official statement or action regarding the case was available at the time of publishing. The family has demanded a fair investigation and appropriate legal action.
