SBI Bank News : देश के सबसे बड़े सरकारी बैंक State Bank of India (SBI) के ग्राहकों के लिए बड़ी खबर सामने आई है। 23 मई से 28 मई 2026 के बीच SBI की शाखाओं में लगातार 6 दिनों तक कामकाज प्रभावित हो सकता है। इसकी वजह चौथा शनिवार, रविवार, कर्मचारियों की दो दिवसीय हड़ताल और बकरीद की छुट्टियां हैं। ऐसे में ग्राहकों को सलाह दी गई है कि बैंक से जुड़े जरूरी काम 22 मई तक ही निपटा लें।
6 दिन क्यों प्रभावित रहेगा SBI का कामकाज?
23 मई को चौथा शनिवार और 24 मई को रविवार होने के कारण बैंक बंद रहेंगे। इसके बाद 25 और 26 मई को ऑल इंडिया स्टेट बैंक स्टाफ फेडरेशन (AISBISF) ने देशभर में दो दिन की हड़ताल का ऐलान किया है। वहीं 27 और 28 मई को कई राज्यों में बकरीद (ईद-उल-अजहा) की छुट्टियां घोषित की गई हैं।
इस दौरान चेक क्लियरिंग, कैश जमा-निकासी, पासबुक अपडेट और शाखाओं से जुड़े कई जरूरी काम प्रभावित हो सकते हैं। हालांकि ऑनलाइन बैंकिंग, UPI और ATM सेवाएं सामान्य रूप से जारी रहने की संभावना है।
SBI कर्मचारियों की 16 मांगें, हड़ताल से लाखों ग्राहक प्रभावित
SBI कर्मचारी संघ ने अपनी 16 मांगों को लेकर हड़ताल का ऐलान किया है। इनमें नए स्टाफ की भर्ती, आउटसोर्सिंग पर रोक, मेडिकल सुविधाओं में सुधार, पेंशन लाभ, इंटर सर्कल ट्रांसफर और कर्मचारियों पर बढ़ते काम के दबाव को कम करने जैसी मांगें शामिल हैं।
कर्मचारियों का कहना है कि लंबे समय से उनकी मांगों पर ध्यान नहीं दिया जा रहा है। ऐसे में अगर हड़ताल जारी रही तो देशभर में लाखों SBI ग्राहकों को परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ सकता है।
ग्राहकों को सलाह- पहले ही निपटा लें जरूरी बैंकिंग काम
बैंकिंग एक्सपर्ट्स का कहना है कि जिन ग्राहकों को चेक क्लियरिंग, ड्राफ्ट, कैश ट्रांजैक्शन या शाखा से जुड़े किसी जरूरी काम की जरूरत है, वे समय रहते उसे पूरा कर लें। खासकर व्यापारियों, नौकरीपेशा लोगों और वरिष्ठ नागरिकों को इस दौरान अतिरिक्त परेशानी हो सकती है।
Important News for SBI Customers: Bank Branches May Remain Closed for 6 Consecutive Days from May 23 to May 28
SBI Bank News : A major update has surfaced for customers of State Bank of India (SBI), the country’s largest public sector bank. SBI branch operations may remain affected for six consecutive days between May 23 and May 28, 2026. The reasons include the fourth Saturday, Sunday, a two-day employees’ strike, and Bakrid (Eid-ul-Adha) holidays. Customers are being advised to complete all important banking work before May 22.
Why Will SBI Services Be Affected for 6 Days?
Banks will remain closed on May 23 due to the fourth Saturday and on May 24 because of Sunday. After that, the All India State Bank Staff Federation (AISBISF) has announced a nationwide two-day strike on May 25 and 26. Additionally, Bakrid holidays have been declared in several states on May 27 and 28.
During this period, important banking services such as cheque clearing, cash deposit and withdrawal, passbook updates, and branch-related work may be affected. However, online banking, UPI, and ATM services are expected to continue normally.
SBI Employees Raise 16 Demands, Strike May Affect Millions of Customers
The SBI employees’ union has called the strike over 16 major demands. These include recruitment of new staff, stopping outsourcing, improvements in medical facilities, pension benefits, inter-circle transfers, and reducing the increasing workload on employees.
Employees claim that their demands have been ignored for a long time. If the strike continues, millions of SBI customers across the country could face inconvenience.
Customers Advised to Finish Important Banking Work Early
Banking experts have advised customers who need cheque clearance, drafts, cash transactions, or any branch-related services to complete their work in advance. Traders, salaried employees, and senior citizens may especially face difficulties during this period.
