Pachpadra Refinery Fire: बालोतरा जिले के पचपदरा स्थित रिफाइनरी में आज भीषण आग लगने से हड़कंप मच गया। आग रिफाइनरी की क्रूड डिस्टिलेशन यूनिट (CDU) में लगी, जिससे पूरे इलाके में अफरा-तफरी का माहौल बन गया। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही बड़ी संख्या में दमकल की गाड़ियां मौके पर पहुंचीं और आग बुझाने का प्रयास शुरू किया गया। सुरक्षा कर्मियों ने तुरंत कर्मचारियों को सुरक्षित स्थानों पर पहुंचाया।
प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार, आग इतनी भीषण थी कि उसका धुआं कई किलोमीटर दूर तक दिखाई दे रहा था, जिससे आसपास के इलाकों में दहशत फैल गई।
लोकार्पण से पहले बड़ा हादसा
यह घटना इसलिए भी गंभीर मानी जा रही है क्योंकि नरेंद्र मोदी कल इस रिफाइनरी का लोकार्पण करने वाले थे। साथ ही, भजनलाल शर्मा का भी आज शाम दौरा प्रस्तावित था।
फिलहाल आग लगने के कारणों का पता नहीं चल पाया है। प्रशासन और तकनीकी टीमें मौके पर जांच कर रही हैं।
राहत और बचाव कार्य जारी
अधिकारियों के अनुसार, अब तक किसी के हताहत होने की खबर नहीं है। नुकसान का आकलन किया जा रहा है और स्थिति पर लगातार नजर रखी जा रही है।
बालोतरा रिफाइनरी में लगी यह आग सुरक्षा व्यवस्थाओं और तैयारियों पर बड़े सवाल खड़े कर रही है, खासकर तब जब लोकार्पण से ठीक पहले यह हादसा हुआ।

Pachpadra Refinery Fire: A massive fire broke out at the refinery located in Pachpadra in Balotra district, creating panic in the area. The fire started in the refinery’s Crude Distillation Unit (CDU), leading to chaos across the premises. As soon as the incident was reported, several fire brigade teams rushed to the spot and began efforts to control the blaze. Security personnel immediately evacuated employees to safer locations. According to eyewitnesses, the fire was so intense that thick plumes of smoke were visible from several kilometers away, spreading fear in nearby areas.
Major Incident Ahead of Inauguration
The incident is considered highly serious as Narendra Modi was scheduled to inaugurate the refinery tomorrow. Additionally, Bhajanlal Sharma was also expected to visit the site later in the day.
At present, the exact cause of the fire is unknown. Administrative and technical teams are on-site investigating the incident.
Rescue Operations Ongoing
Officials have stated that no casualties have been reported so far. The extent of the damage is being assessed, and the situation is under close monitoring.
The fire at the Balotra refinery has raised serious concerns about safety measures and preparedness, especially as it occurred just before the planned inauguration.
