UP News: लखनऊ। उत्तर प्रदेश की राजधानी लखनऊ में सार्वजनिक परिवहन व्यवस्था को बेहतर बनाने के लिए ₹265 करोड़ की लागत से आधुनिक बस टर्मिनल विकसित किया जाएगा। वृंदावन योजना के पी-4 पार्किंग क्षेत्र में बनने वाले इस इंटीग्रेटेड सिटी बस टर्मिनल में यात्रियों को एयरपोर्ट जैसी सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराने की योजना है। परियोजना को पब्लिक-प्राइवेट पार्टनरशिप (PPP) मॉडल के तहत विकसित किया जाएगा।
सरकार की योजना के अनुसार, इस बस टर्मिनल से शहर में इलेक्ट्रिक बसों के संचालन के लिए जरूरी बुनियादी ढांचे को मजबूत करने में मदद मिलेगी। इसके साथ यात्रियों को टिकट बुकिंग, प्रतीक्षालय, खानपान और अन्य जरूरी सुविधाएं एक ही परिसर में उपलब्ध कराने का लक्ष्य है।
लखनऊ बस टर्मिनल 7.06 एकड़ में बनेगा
प्रस्तावित लखनऊ बस टर्मिनल लगभग 7.06 एकड़ क्षेत्र में विकसित किया जाएगा। परियोजना की अनुमानित लागत ₹265 करोड़ है। इसमें करीब ₹60 करोड़ बस टर्मिनल के निर्माण और ₹205 करोड़ व्यावसायिक सुविधाओं के विकास के लिए निर्धारित किए गए हैं। इस अनुमान में जमीन की कीमत शामिल नहीं है।
परियोजना को डिजाइन, निर्माण, वित्तपोषण, संचालन और हस्तांतरण (DBFOT) मॉडल के तहत लागू करने की योजना है। निर्माण पूरा होने के बाद टर्मिनल को नगरीय परिवहन निदेशालय को सौंपा जाएगा।
यात्रियों को मिलेंगी एयरपोर्ट जैसी सुविधाएं
नए बस टर्मिनल में यात्रियों की सुविधा के लिए टिकट काउंटर, पूछताछ केंद्र, प्रतीक्षालय और सामान रखने की व्यवस्था विकसित करने का प्रस्ताव है। इसके अलावा परिसर में रेस्तरां, कॉफी शॉप, फास्ट फूड आउटलेट, व्यावसायिक दुकानें और मेडिकल स्टोर जैसी सुविधाएं भी बनाई जा सकती हैं।
यात्रियों की जरूरतों को ध्यान में रखते हुए बैंक, एटीएम, सार्वजनिक शौचालय, वाटर एटीएम, टैक्सी स्टैंड और पार्किंग की सुविधा भी प्रस्तावित है। इन व्यवस्थाओं का उद्देश्य बस से यात्रा करने वाले लोगों को एक ही जगह पर जरूरी सेवाएं उपलब्ध कराना है।
इलेक्ट्रिक बसों के संचालन को मिलेगा बढ़ावा
लखनऊ में इलेक्ट्रिक बसों के संचालन का विस्तार करने की योजना के बीच इस परियोजना को महत्वपूर्ण माना जा रहा है। उपलब्ध रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, दुबग्गा डिपो से 116 इलेक्ट्रिक बसें संचालित हो रही थीं और 300 अतिरिक्त इलेक्ट्रिक बसों को शामिल करने की प्रक्रिया बताई गई थी।
इलेक्ट्रिक बसों की संख्या बढ़ने के साथ पार्किंग, चार्जिंग और रखरखाव की सुविधाओं की जरूरत भी बढ़ती है। प्रस्तावित टर्मिनल में बसों के खड़े होने के लिए निर्धारित स्थान, चार्जिंग स्टेशन, मरम्मत की व्यवस्था और कर्मचारियों के विश्राम कक्ष बनाए जाने की योजना है। परिसर में प्रशासनिक कार्यालय और सुरक्षा कक्ष भी प्रस्तावित हैं।
PPP मॉडल पर विकसित होगी परियोजना
इस परियोजना को पब्लिक-प्राइवेट पार्टनरशिप मॉडल के तहत विकसित करने की योजना है। इसमें निजी विकासकर्ता निर्माण और निर्धारित अवधि तक संचालन तथा रखरखाव की जिम्मेदारी संभालेगा। योजना के अनुसार, बस टर्मिनल के रखरखाव की अवधि 35 वर्ष और व्यावसायिक सुविधाओं से जुड़े बुनियादी ढांचे के रखरखाव की अवधि 90 वर्ष निर्धारित की गई है।
परियोजना की निविदा प्रक्रिया में चार कंपनियों के भाग लेने की जानकारी भी रिपोर्ट में दी गई है। हालांकि, निर्माण पूरा होने और टर्मिनल के शुरू होने की तारीख की पुष्टि उपलब्ध जानकारी से नहीं होती।
लखनऊ के यात्रियों को क्या होगा फायदा?

Lucknow to Get Modern Bus Terminal Worth ₹265 Crore With Airport-Like Facilities
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh’s capital, Lucknow, is set to get a modern integrated city bus terminal with a proposed investment of ₹265 crore. The terminal is planned for the P-4 parking area in Vrindavan Yojana and is expected to offer passengers facilities similar to those found at an airport. The project will be developed under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.
The proposed development aims to strengthen Lucknow’s public transport infrastructure and support the expansion of electric bus services. Lucknow Bus Terminal to Be Developed Across 7.06 Acres
The proposed Lucknow bus terminal will cover approximately 7.06 acres. The estimated project cost is ₹265 crore, including around ₹60 crore for the bus terminal and ₹205 crore for commercial facilities. The estimated cost does not include the price of the land.

Project to Support Electric Bus Operations
The new terminal is being planned as part of efforts to strengthen Lucknow’s electric bus infrastructure. According to the reported project details, 116 electric buses were operating from the Dubagga depot, while plans to add another 300 electric buses were also reported.
As electric bus operations expand, additional parking, charging and maintenance infrastructure becomes important. The proposed terminal is expected to include designated bus parking areas, electric bus charging stations, maintenance facilities and rest rooms for staff. Administrative and security rooms are also part of the plan.
Private Developer to Handle Operations and Maintenance
The project is planned under the Public-Private Partnership model, with a private developer responsible for construction and operations under the agreed terms. The reported arrangement provides for a 35-year maintenance period for the bus terminal and a 90-year maintenance period for infrastructure associated with commercial facilities.
Four companies reportedly participated in the tender process. However, a confirmed construction completion date and operational launch date were not established in the information available for this article.
