मोदीनगर। थाना मोदीनगर क्षेत्र के तरंग रोड पर अतिक्रमण हटाने पहुंची नगर पालिका की अतिक्रमण दस्ता टीम के जाने के बाद एक दुकानदार की दुकान पर भीड़ जुटने से विवाद खड़ा हो गया। पीड़ित दुकानदार ने आरोप लगाया है कि कुछ लोगों ने उसे नगर पालिका की कार्रवाई के लिए जिम्मेदार ठहराते हुए अभद्रता की और जान से मारने की धमकी दी।
नगर पालिका टीम ने दुकानदारों से अतिक्रमण हटाने को कहा
जानकारी के अनुसार, नगर पालिका की अतिक्रमण दस्ता टीम तरंग रोड पर सड़क और पटरी पर दुकान लगाने वाले दुकानदारों को अतिक्रमण हटाने के लिए समझाने पहुंची थी। टीम ने दुकानदारों से सड़क और पटरी पर दुकानें नहीं लगाने के लिए कहा।
आरोप है कि नगर पालिका टीम के मौके से जाने के बाद कुछ पटरी दुकानदारों ने एक दुकानदार से विवाद शुरू कर दिया। पीड़ित का आरोप है कि उसे नगर पालिका की कार्रवाई के लिए जिम्मेदार ठहराया गया और इसके बाद करीब 15 से 20 लोग उसकी दुकान तक पहुंच गए।
दुकान के बाहर जुटी भीड़, वीडियो आया सामने
पीड़ित दुकानदार के मुताबिक, वह किसी तरह वहां से निकलकर अपनी दुकान तक पहुंचा, लेकिन भीड़ उसके पीछे-पीछे उसकी दुकान तक पहुंच गई। इस दौरान उसके साथ अभद्रता करने और जान से मारने की धमकी देने का आरोप लगाया गया है।
घटना से जुड़ा एक वीडियो भी सामने आया है, जिसमें दुकान के आसपास बड़ी संख्या में लोग जमा दिखाई दे रहे हैं। हालांकि, वीडियो में दिखाई दे रही भीड़ के विवाद में शामिल होने की पूरी स्थिति पुलिस जांच के बाद ही स्पष्ट होगी।
पटरी पर ठीये लगाने और साप्ताहिक किराये का आरोप
पीड़ित दुकानदार ने आरोप लगाया कि कुछ लोग पटरी पर एक से अधिक ठीये लगवाकर उन्हें साप्ताहिक किराये पर देते हैं। उसका दावा है कि यदि पटरी से अतिक्रमण हटाया जाता है और टोकन व्यवस्था लागू होती है तो इससे कुछ लोगों की कमाई प्रभावित हो सकती है। इसी को लेकर विवाद बढ़ने का आरोप लगाया गया है।
दुकानदार ने कहा- नगर पालिका में नहीं की थी शिकायत
पीड़ित ने स्पष्ट किया कि उसने नगर पालिका में अतिक्रमण हटाने की कोई शिकायत नहीं की थी। उसका कहना है कि नगर पालिका की टीम स्वयं अतिक्रमण हटाने के लिए तरंग रोड पर पहुंची थी और वहां दुकानदारों से सड़क व पटरी से अतिक्रमण हटाने को कहा गया था।
पुलिस को दी तहरीर
मामले में पीड़ित दुकानदार ने कस्बा चौकी पर तहरीर देकर आरोपियों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की मांग की है। पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही है। जांच के बाद ही विवाद की पूरी स्थिति और लगाए गए आरोपों की पुष्टि हो सकेगी।

According to the complainant, a shopkeeper was allegedly confronted by a group of people after the municipal team left the spot. He alleged that the group blamed him for the municipal action, behaved abusively with him and threatened to kill him.
Municipal Team Visits Tarang Road
According to the information available, the municipal encroachment removal team reached Tarang Road and asked shopkeepers and roadside vendors occupying the pavement to remove their encroachments.
The team also reportedly instructed vendors not to set up shops on the road or pavement.
However, after the municipal officials left the area, the situation allegedly escalated when some roadside vendors began arguing with a shopkeeper.
Crowd Gathers Outside Shop
The complainant alleged that around 15 to 20 people reached his shop and confronted him over the municipal action. He further alleged that the people behaved abusively and issued death threats.
The shopkeeper said he somehow managed to reach his shop, but the group allegedly followed him there.
A video related to the incident has also surfaced. The footage reportedly shows a large number of people gathered around the shop. The exact role of those present in the incident will be clear only after the police investigation.
Allegations Over Weekly Rent From Roadside Stalls
The complainant further alleged that some individuals arrange multiple roadside stalls and rent them out on a weekly basis.
According to his allegation, removal of pavement encroachments and the possible introduction of a token-based system could affect the income generated through these arrangements. The complainant claimed that this may have been one of the reasons behind the dispute.
Shopkeeper Denies Filing Encroachment Complaint
The shopkeeper clarified that he had not filed any complaint with the municipality seeking removal of encroachments.
He claimed that the municipal team had independently arrived at Tarang Road as part of its encroachment removal action and asked roadside vendors to clear the road and pavement.
Complaint Submitted to Police
The complainant has submitted a written complaint at Kasba Police Outpost, seeking action against the alleged accused.
