इस्लामाबाद। पाकिस्तान के सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने मंगलवार को जेल में बंद पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री इमरान खान की सेहत को लेकर बड़ा आदेश दिया। अदालत ने निर्देश दिया कि इमरान खान को इलाज और स्वास्थ्य जांच के लिए 48 घंटे के भीतर शिफा इंटरनेशनल अस्पताल में ट्रांसफर किया जाए। कोर्ट ने उनकी मेडिकल स्थिति की विस्तृत जांच के लिए मेडिकल बोर्ड गठित करने की बात भी कही।
सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने इमरान खान की बहनों से मुलाकात के मुद्दे पर भी जेल प्रशासन से जवाब मांगा। सुनवाई के दौरान जस्टिस शाहिद वहीद ने कहा कि बहनों से मुलाकात कराना कोई एहसान नहीं है, बल्कि यह उनका मौलिक अधिकार है।
इमरान खान की बहनों से मुलाकात पर कोर्ट सख्त
तीन जजों की बेंच इमरान खान के इलाज और परिवार से मुलाकात से संबंधित याचिकाओं पर सुनवाई कर रही थी। बेंच की अध्यक्षता जस्टिस शाहिद वहीद ने की। इसमें जस्टिस नईम अख्तर अफगान और जस्टिस इश्तियाक इब्राहिम भी शामिल थे।
अदालत ने पिछले तीन वर्षों के दौरान इमरान खान और उनकी बहनों के बीच हुई सभी मुलाकातों का रिकॉर्ड मांगा है। इसके अलावा उनके बेटों के साथ हुई बातचीत और कॉल डिटेल रिकॉर्ड से जुड़ी जानकारी भी पेश करने को कहा गया है।
पूरी मेडिकल रिपोर्ट नहीं मिलने पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट नाराज
सुनवाई के दौरान सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने अडियाला जेल प्रशासन से इमरान खान की पूरी मेडिकल रिपोर्ट पेश करने को कहा। अदालत ने इस बात पर नाराजगी जताई कि पूरी रिपोर्ट देने के बजाय केवल मेडिकल रिपोर्ट की एक समरी अदालत के सामने रखी गई।
कोर्ट ने इमरान खान की मौजूदा स्वास्थ्य स्थिति को गंभीरता से लेते हुए विस्तृत मेडिकल जांच और उचित इलाज की जरूरत पर जोर दिया।
मेडिकल रिपोर्ट में ब्लड प्रेशर और तनाव की समस्या
अदालत में पेश की गई मेडिकल रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, इमरान खान के स्वास्थ्य को लेकर कई चिंताएं सामने आई हैं। रिपोर्ट में ब्लड प्रेशर में उतार-चढ़ाव, दिल की धड़कन तेज होने और मानसिक तनाव जैसी समस्याओं का उल्लेख किया गया।
इन्हीं स्वास्थ्य चिंताओं के बीच सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने उन्हें अस्पताल में ट्रांसफर करने का आदेश दिया है, जहां उनकी मेडिकल जांच और इलाज किया जाना है।
2023 से जेल में हैं इमरान खान
पाकिस्तान के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री इमरान खान अगस्त 2023 से जेल में हैं। उन्हें भ्रष्टाचार से जुड़े मामले में गिरफ्तार किया गया था। इसके बाद से उनके खिलाफ कई कानूनी मामलों में सुनवाई चलती रही है।
सुप्रीम कोर्ट के ताजा आदेश के बाद अब इमरान खान के स्वास्थ्य, अस्पताल में इलाज और परिवार से मुलाकात को लेकर आगे की प्रक्रिया पर नजर रहेगी।
Pakistan Supreme Court Orders Imran Khan Hospital Transfer Within 48 Hours
Islamabad: Pakistan’s Supreme Court has ordered authorities to transfer jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan to Shifa International Hospital within 48 hours for medical examination and treatment. The court also said that a medical board would be formed to assess his health condition.
The court was hearing petitions concerning Imran Khan’s medical treatment and meetings with his family members.
Supreme Court Says Meeting Sisters Is a Fundamental Right
During the hearing, Justice Shahid Waheed questioned restrictions on meetings between Imran Khan and his sisters. The judge said that allowing him to meet his sisters is not a favour but a fundamental right.
The court has sought details of all meetings between Imran Khan and his sisters during the past three years. It also asked authorities to provide information regarding his conversations and call records involving his sons.
Court Expresses Anger Over Incomplete Medical Report
The Supreme Court also directed the Adiala Jail administration to submit Imran Khan’s complete medical records.
The bench expressed displeasure after receiving only a summary instead of the full medical report. The court wants a detailed assessment of his current health condition before further proceedings.
The three-member bench is headed by Justice Shahid Waheed and includes Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan and Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim.
Medical Report Raises Health Concerns
The medical report presented before the court reportedly raised concerns about Imran Khan’s health. It mentioned fluctuations in his blood pressure, an increased heart rate and significant mental stress.
In view of these concerns, the Supreme Court ordered his transfer to a hospital for further medical evaluation and treatment.
Imran Khan Has Been in Jail Since 2023
Imran Khan has been in prison since August 2023 after his arrest in connection with a corruption case. Since then, he has faced several legal proceedings in Pakistan.
The Supreme Court’s latest order is now expected to bring renewed focus on his health, medical treatment and access to family members.
