मोदीनगर रेलवे हादसा: रेलवे फाटक पार करते समय युवक की दर्दनाक मौत
गाजियाबाद जिले के मोदीनगर थाना क्षेत्र में बुधवार सुबह एक दर्दनाक मोदीनगर रेलवे हादसा सामने आया। मोदीपोन चौकी के पास बंद रेलवे फाटक पार करने का प्रयास कर रहे एक युवक की मालगाड़ी की चपेट में आने से मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। हादसे के बाद क्षेत्र में अफरा-तफरी मच गई, जबकि सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस और रेलवे कर्मचारी घटनास्थल पर पहुंच गए।
कैसे हुआ हादसा?
प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार घटना सुबह करीब 8:05 बजे की है। रेलवे फाटक बंद होने के बावजूद युवक जल्दबाजी में ट्रैक पार करने का प्रयास कर रहा था। इसी दौरान दिल्ली से मेरठ की ओर जा रही एक मालगाड़ी वहां से गुजरी और युवक उसकी चपेट में आ गया।
बताया जा रहा है कि मालगाड़ी युवक को करीब 10 से 15 मीटर तक घसीटते हुए प्लेटफॉर्म संख्या 49/1 के पास तक ले गई। हादसा इतना भीषण था कि युवक की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई।
पहचान कराना बना चुनौती
हादसे में युवक का चेहरा बुरी तरह क्षतिग्रस्त हो गया, जिसके कारण उसकी पहचान कराना बेहद मुश्किल हो रहा है। पुलिस को मृतक के पास से कोई आधार कार्ड, पहचान पत्र या अन्य दस्तावेज नहीं मिले हैं।
हालांकि, युवक के हाथ पर बने एक टैटू के आधार पर पुलिस का प्राथमिक अनुमान है कि वह हिंदू समुदाय से संबंधित हो सकता है। फिलहाल इसकी आधिकारिक पुष्टि नहीं की गई है।
पुलिस जांच में जुटी
घटना की सूचना मिलते ही मोदीनगर थाना पुलिस और रेलवे पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची। शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया गया है।
पुलिस आसपास के लोगों से पूछताछ कर रही है और मृतक की पहचान कराने का प्रयास जारी है। अधिकारियों का कहना है कि पहचान होने के बाद परिजनों को सूचना दी जाएगी।
पुलिस की अपील
प्रारंभिक जांच में मामला बंद रेलवे फाटक के दौरान ट्रैक पार करने की कोशिश के कारण हुआ हादसा प्रतीत हो रहा है।
प्रशासन ने लोगों से अपील की है कि रेलवे फाटक बंद होने पर किसी भी परिस्थिति में ट्रैक पार करने का प्रयास न करें, क्योंकि थोड़ी सी लापरवाही जानलेवा साबित हो सकती है |
Modinagar Railway Accident: Youth Killed While Crossing Closed Railway Gate Near Modipon Chowki
A tragic Modinagar Railway Accident occurred on Wednesday morning near Modipon Chowki under the Modinagar police station area in Ghaziabad district. A young man lost his life after being struck by a goods train while attempting to cross a closed railway gate.
The incident created panic in the area as police officials and railway authorities rushed to the spot immediately after receiving the information.
How the Accident Happened
According to eyewitnesses, the accident took place at around 8:05 AM. Despite the railway gate being closed, the youth reportedly attempted to cross the tracks in a hurry.
At the same time, a goods train traveling from Delhi towards Meerut passed through the crossing and hit the young man.
The train reportedly dragged the victim for approximately 10 to 15 meters before stopping near Platform No. 49/1, resulting in his death on the spot.
Victim Yet to Be Identified
The impact of the collision severely damaged the victim’s face, making identification extremely difficult.
Police recovered no Aadhaar card, identity card, or any other documents from the deceased.
Officials stated that a tattoo found on the victim’s hand suggests he may belong to the Hindu community; however, this has not been officially confirmed.
Police Investigation Underway
Modinagar Police and Railway Police reached the accident site shortly after receiving the alert.
The body has been sent for post-mortem examination, and efforts are underway to identify the deceased by questioning local residents and reviewing available evidence.
Police officials said the victim’s family will be informed once his identity is confirmed.

Preliminary investigation indicates that the accident occurred because the victim attempted to cross the railway tracks while the gate was closed.
Authorities have urged the public never to cross railway tracks when the railway gate is closed, warning that such negligence can result in fatal accidents.
