Delhi News: Delhi Seelampur Murder Case दिल्ली के सीलमपुर इलाके में सिगरेट पीने को लेकर हुए विवाद में 20 वर्षीय युवक सुभान की चाकू मारकर हत्या कर दी गई। यह घटना 20 अक्टूबर 2026 की रात सेंट्रल पार्क में हुई, जहां सुभान अपने दोस्त मोहसिन के साथ बैठा था। मामले में दिल्ली पुलिस ने चार बालिग आरोपियों और दो नाबालिगों समेत कुल छह लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है।
सीलमपुर के सेंट्रल पार्क में सिगरेट पीने पर विवाद
पुलिस के मुताबिक, 20 अक्टूबर की रात करीब 9 बजे सुभान अपने दोस्त मोहसिन के साथ सीलमपुर स्थित सेंट्रल पार्क में बैठकर सिगरेट पी रहा था। इसी दौरान वहां पांच से छह युवक पहुंचे और सिगरेट पीने को लेकर आपत्ति जताई।
बताया गया है कि इस बात पर दोनों पक्षों के बीच कहासुनी शुरू हो गई। विवाद बढ़ने पर आरोप है कि युवकों ने सुभान पर चाकू से हमला कर दिया। वारदात के बाद आरोपी मौके से फरार हो गए।
अस्पताल में इलाज के दौरान सुभान की मौत
चाकू से हमले में सुभान गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गया। उसका दोस्त मोहसिन उसे तुरंत जग प्रवेश चंद्र (JPC) अस्पताल लेकर पहुंचा। अस्पताल से पुलिस को रात करीब 10:48 बजे घटना की सूचना मिली।
सुभान की गंभीर हालत को देखते हुए उसे गुरु तेग बहादुर (GTB) अस्पताल रेफर किया गया। हालांकि, इलाज के दौरान उसकी मौत हो गई। युवक की मौत के बाद पुलिस ने मामले में हत्या से संबंधित धारा भी जोड़ दी।
CCTV फुटेज की मदद से छह आरोपी गिरफ्तार
घटना के बाद सीलमपुर थाना पुलिस ने मामले की जांच शुरू की। पुलिस ने आसपास लगे CCTV कैमरों की फुटेज खंगाली और अन्य सबूतों के आधार पर आरोपियों की पहचान करने का प्रयास किया।
पुलिस के मुताबिक, इस मामले में कुल छह लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है। इनमें चार बालिग और करीब 17 वर्ष की उम्र के दो नाबालिग शामिल हैं।
गिरफ्तार बालिग आरोपियों की पहचान अमन खान उर्फ अर्शू (21), अफजल खान (18), अब्दुल मोमिन (18) और शोएब मिर्जा (18) के रूप में बताई गई है। नाबालिग आरोपियों की पहचान गोपनीय रखी गई है।
पुलिस ने चाकू और कपड़े बरामद किए
पुलिस के अनुसार, जांच के दौरान कथित वारदात में इस्तेमाल किया गया चाकू और घटना के समय आरोपियों द्वारा पहने गए कपड़े भी बरामद किए गए हैं।
शुरुआत में मामले में भारतीय न्याय संहिता (BNS) की धारा 109(1) और 3(5) के तहत केस दर्ज किया गया था। सुभान की मौत के बाद हत्या से संबंधित BNS की धारा 103(1) भी जोड़ दी गई।

सिगरेट पीने को लेकर शुरू हुआ विवाद एक युवक की मौत का कारण बन गया। पुलिस मामले की परिस्थितियों और गिरफ्तार आरोपियों की कथित भूमिका की जांच कर रही है। आरोपियों के खिलाफ आरोपों का अंतिम निर्धारण न्यायिक प्रक्रिया के तहत होगा।

Delhi Seelampur Murder Case: A 20-year-old man identified as Subhan was allegedly stabbed to death following a dispute over smoking cigarettes at Central Park in Delhi’s Seelampur area. The incident took place on the night of October 20, 2026. According to the police, six people, including two minors, have been arrested in connection with the case. CCTV footage and other evidence reportedly helped investigators identify the accused.
Dispute Over Smoking at Seelampur Central Park
According to the police, Subhan was sitting with his friend Mohsin at Central Park in Seelampur at around 9 PM on October 20. A group of five to six young men allegedly approached them and objected to their smoking.
An argument reportedly broke out between the two groups. The dispute allegedly escalated, and Subhan was attacked with a knife. The accused reportedly fled the scene after the incident.
Subhan Dies During Treatment at Hospital
Subhan sustained serious injuries in the stabbing. His friend Mohsin took him to Jag Pravesh Chandra (JPC) Hospital for treatment. Police received information about the injured man at around 10:48 PM.
Due to the seriousness of his condition, Subhan was referred to Guru Teg Bahadur (GTB) Hospital. However, he died during treatment. Following his death, police added the relevant murder charge to the case.
CCTV Footage Helps Police Arrest Six Accused
Seelampur police launched an investigation after receiving information about the incident. Investigators examined CCTV footage from nearby cameras and collected additional evidence.
According to the police, six people have been arrested in connection with the case. The arrested individuals include four adults and two minors aged approximately 17.
Names of the Four Adult Accused
The four adult accused have been identified as:
- Aman Khan alias Arshoo, 21
- Afzal Khan, 18
- Abdul Momin, 18
- Shoaib Mirza, 18
Two minors have also been apprehended. Their identities have been withheld to protect their privacy.
Police Recover Knife and Clothes
According to the police, a knife allegedly used in the attack and clothes reportedly worn by the accused at the time of the incident have been recovered.
Initially, the case was registered under Sections 109(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Following Subhan’s death, Section 103(1), which deals with murder, was also added.
