KP Sharma Oli Arrested | नेपाल में सत्ता परिवर्तन के बाद राजनीति में बड़ा भूचाल आ गया है। नई सरकार के गठन के 24 घंटे के भीतर ही पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री केपी शर्मा ओली को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया।
मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार यह कार्रवाई पिछले साल नेपाल में हुए Gen-Z आंदोलन के दौरान हुई हिंसा और नागरिकों की मौत के मामले में की गई है। जांच समिति की सिफारिश के बाद पुलिस ने ओली को हिरासत में लिया।
बताया जा रहा है कि आंदोलन के दौरान सुरक्षा बलों की कार्रवाई और प्रशासनिक फैसलों की जिम्मेदारी तय करने के लिए कई नेताओं के खिलाफ जांच चल रही थी। उसी क्रम में पूर्व गृहमंत्री समेत कुछ अन्य अधिकारियों के खिलाफ भी कार्रवाई की गई है।
नेपाल में पिछले साल हुए Gen-Z विरोध प्रदर्शन ने पूरे देश की राजनीति को हिला दिया था। युवाओं और छात्रों द्वारा शुरू किया गया यह आंदोलन भ्रष्टाचार, सोशल मीडिया प्रतिबंध और सरकारी नीतियों के खिलाफ था। इस दौरान कई जगह हिंसक झड़पें भी हुई थीं।
नई सरकार ने सत्ता संभालते ही इस मामले में सख्त रुख अपनाया है। सरकार का कहना है कि कानून से ऊपर कोई नहीं है और हिंसा के मामलों में जिम्मेदार लोगों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई जारी रहेगी।

Authorities said the arrest was made following recommendations from an investigative committee examining the government’s role in the crackdown on protesters. Former Home Minister and other officials are also under investigation.
The Gen-Z protests in Nepal were largely led by students and young citizens demanding accountability, transparency, and reforms in governance. The demonstrations spread across the country and triggered one of the biggest political crises in recent years.
The new government has indicated that strict action will continue against those responsible for violence during the protests.
