मोदीनगर : गोविंदपुरी में वकील के निर्माणाधीन मकान में हुई चोरी के विराेध में मोदीनगर तहसील में अधिवक्ता हड़ताल पर रहे। एसडीएम, तहसीलदार समेत अन्य कोर्ट का वकीलों ने बहिष्कार कर कामकाज ठप रखा। कोतवाली क्षेत्र की गोविंदपुरी कालोनी के राजकुमार गुप्ता वकील हैं। बार एसोसिएशन मोदीनगर के पूर्व में अध्यक्ष रह चुके हैं। मोदीनगर तहसील में प्रेक्टिस करते हैं। वे गोविंदपुरी में ही दूसरा मकान बना रहे हैं। अधिकांश निर्माण कार्य पूरा हो चुका है। अब अंदर बिजली फिटिंग आदि का काम चल रहा है। शनिवार रात को यहां कुछ बदमाश आए और मकान से सामान चोरी कर ले गए। रविवार सुबह जब राजकुमार गुप्ता मकान पर पहुंचे और अंदर से बिजली के तार, स्विच समेत अन्य सामान गायब था। चोरी हुए सामान की कीमत करीब दो लाख रुपये है। घटना के विरोध में बार एसोसिएशन मोदीनगर के बैनर तले वकील सोमवार को तहसील में हड़ताल पर रहे। चैबर खोले गए। लेकिन वकीलों ने कामकाज ठप रखा। बार एसोसिएशन मोदीनगर के सचिव नकुल त्यागी ने कहा कि पुलिस की सक्रियता कम होने से शहर में घटनाएं बढ़ रही हैं। वकील भी सुरक्षित नहीं हैं। यदि जल्द चोरी की घटना का पर्दाफाश नहीं हुआ तो वकील आंदोलन को विवश होंगे। वहीं, एसीपी मोदीनगर भास्कर वर्मा का कहना है कि पुलिस आरोपियों की तलाश में जुटी है |
