तेज रफ्तार ट्रैक्टर ने सड़क पार कर रहे चार लोगों को रौंदा, महिला की मौत

मोदीनगर :दिल्ली-मेरठ मार्ग पर मोदीनगर थाने के सामने बृहस्पतिवार दोपहर तेज रफ्तार ट्रैक्टर-ट्रॉली ने सड़क पार कर रहे चार लोगों को टक्कर मार दी। हादसे में एक महिला की मौत हो गई, जबकि तीन लोग गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए। दुर्घटना के बाद हाईवे पर लंबा जाम लग गया। पुलिस ने ट्रैक्टर-ट्रॉली को कब्जे में लेकर चालक को हिरासत में ले लिया है।मोदीनगर कोतवाली क्षेत्र की दयापुरी कालोनी की कांता देवी बृहस्पतिवार सुबह बाजार से सामान लेने के लिए घर से निकली थी। उनके साथ में पड़ोसी सोनम भी थी। दिल्ली-मेरठ मार्ग पर वे मोदीनगर कोतवाली के सामने से सड़क पार कर रही थी। साथ में ही संभू अपनी बेटी सपना के साथ सड़क पार कर रहे थे। इस बीच मोदी मंदिर की तरफ से आ रहे तेज रफ्तार अनियंत्रित ट्रैक्टर-ट्राली ने चारों को टक्कर मार दी। टक्कर इतनी जबरदस्त थी कि चारों गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए। आनन-फानन में घायलों को आटो से अस्पताल ले जाया गया। जहां चिकित्सकों ने कांता देवी को मृत घोषित कर दिया। संभू को गंभीर हालत में हायर सेंटर रेफर किया गया। जबकि सोनम व सपना का अस्पताल में उपचार चल रहा है। सूचना पर पहुंची पुलिस ने कांता व संभू के स्वजन को काल कर हादसे की सूचना दी। कांता का शव पोस्टमार्टम को भेजा। बताया जा रहा है कि आरोपित चालक शुगर मिल में गन्ना डालने के बाद लौट रहा था। यह ट्रैक्टर काफी पुराना है। इसपर नंबर प्लेट भी नहीं थी। एसीपी मोदीनगर भास्कर वर्मा ने बताया कि आरोपित चालक को हिरासत में लिया हुआ है। आगे की कार्रवाई चल रही है।

Speeding tractor crushes four people crossing the road, woman dies

Modinagar: On Thursday afternoon, in front of Modinagar police station on Delhi-Meerut road, a speeding tractor-trolley hit four people crossing the road. One woman died in the accident, while three people were seriously injured. After the accident, there was a long jam on the highway. Police have seized the tractor-trolley and taken the driver into custody. Kanta Devi of Dayapuri Colony of Modinagar Kotwali area had left home on Thursday morning to buy goods from the market. Neighbor Sonam was also with him. She was crossing the road in front of Modinagar police station on Delhi-Meerut road. Simultaneously, Sambhu was crossing the road with his daughter Sapna. Meanwhile, a speeding uncontrolled tractor-trolley coming from Modi temple hit all four. The collision was so severe that all four were seriously injured. The injured were immediately taken to the hospital by auto. Where the doctors declared Kanta Devi dead. Sambhu was referred to higher center in critical condition. While Sonam and Sapna are undergoing treatment in the hospital. Police reached the spot after receiving information and called the relatives of Kanta and Sambhu and informed them about the accident. Kanta’s body was sent for postmortem. It is being told that the accused driver was returning after dumping sugarcane in the sugar mill. This tractor is quite old. There was not even a number plate on it. ACP Modinagar Bhaskar Verma said that the accused driver has been detained. Further action is underway.
