कलयुगी बेटे ने वृद्ध दंपति पर दरांत से किया जानलेवा हमला, हालत गंभीर

मोदीनगर: कोतवाली क्षेत्र की हरमुखपुरी कॉलोनी में मकान नाम न करने से गुस्साए बेटा-बहू ने सोमवार रात दरांत से वृद्ध दंपति पर जानलेवा हमला कर दिया। हमले में दोनों गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए। घायल वृद्ध दंपति को उपचार के लिए सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र ले जाया गया जहां से उन्हें मेरठ मेडिकल कॉलेज रेफर कर दिया गया। वृद्धा की हालत नाजुक बनी हुई है। हरमुखपुरी कॉलोनी निवासी 70 वर्षीय रमाशंकर अपनी 65 वर्षीय पत्नी सुशीला देवी व पुत्र मनोज और पुत्रवधु किरण के साथ रहते हैं। आरोप है कि पुत्र मनोज और पुत्रवधु किरण काफी समय से माता-पिता पर मकान अपने नाम कराने का दवाब बना रहे थे। एक सप्ताह से इस बात को लेकर रोजाना विवाद हो रहा था। रमाशंकर और सुशीला देवी शिकायत लेकर कई बार गोविंदपुरी पुलिस चौकी पर गए, लेकिन पुलिस ने घरेलू मामला बताकर कार्रवाई नहीं की रमाशंकर ने बताया कि मकान नाम कराने की मांग को लेकर बेटा-बहू ने सोमवार को घर में तोड़फोड़ की और उन्हें पीट कर घर से निकाल दिया। सोमवार रात वृद्ध दंपति मामले की शिकायत करने पहले गोविंदपुरी पुलिस चौकी और फिर थाने गए मगर पुलिस ने मंगलवार को कार्रवाई करने की बात कहकर उन्हें बैरंग भेज दिया। घर पहुंचने पर सोमवार रात बेटा-बहू एक बार फिर वृद्ध दंपति से मारपीट करने लगे। इसके बाद गुस्साए मनोज ने दरांत से अपने माता पिता पर जानलेवा हमला कर उन्हें गंभीर रूप से घायल कर दिया। भीड़ जमा होने पर आरोपी मौके से फरार हो गए। स्थानीय लोग सुशीला देवी और रमाशंकर को सीएचसी में ले गए, लेकिन गंभीर हालत के चलते उन्हें मेरठ मेडिकल कॉलेज रेफर कर दिया गया। एसीपी मोदीनगर भास्कर वर्मा ने बताया कि आरोपियों पर पहले भी मारपीट के मामले में कार्रवाई हो चुकी है। तहरीर प्राप्त होने पर रिपोर्ट दर्ज की जाएगी।

Heartless son attacks old couple with sickle, condition critical

Modinagar: Angered by not naming the house in Harmukhpuri Colony of Kotwali area, the son and daughter-in-law attacked the elderly couple with a sickle on Monday night. Both were seriously injured in the attack. The injured elderly couple was taken to the Community Health Center for treatment from where they were referred to Meerut Medical College. The condition of the old lady remains critical. 70 year old Ramashankar, resident of Harmukhpuri Colony, lives with his 65 year old wife Sushila Devi, son Manoj and daughter-in-law Kiran. It is alleged that son Manoj and daughter-in-law Kiran were pressurizing the parents to get the house in their name for a long time. There was a daily dispute regarding this matter for a week. Ramashankar and Sushila Devi went to Govindpuri police post several times with a complaint, but the police did not take action citing it as a domestic matter. Ramashankar told that the son and daughter-in-law vandalized the house on Monday demanding the name of the house and beat them and threw them out of the house. On Monday night, the elderly couple first went to Govindpuri police post and then to the police station to complain about the matter, but the police sent them away after saying that action would be taken on Tuesday. On reaching home on Monday night, the son and daughter-in-law once again started fighting with the old couple. After this, angry Manoj attacked his parents with a sickle and seriously injured them. When the crowd gathered, the accused fled from the spot. Local people took Sushila Devi and Ramashankar to CHC, but due to their critical condition, they were referred to Meerut Medical College. ACP Modinagar Bhaskar Verma said that action has already been taken against the accused in the case of assault. A report will be filed upon receipt of the complaint.
