Modinagar News: गाजियाबाद जिले के मोदीनगर में जिलाधिकारी के विशेष अवकाश संबंधी आदेश के बावजूद दयावती पब्लिक स्कूल खुलने का मामला सामने आया है। विधान परिषद चुनाव के मतदान के चलते शुक्रवार, 23 अक्टूबर 2026 को जिले के सभी सरकारी, सहायता प्राप्त और मान्यता प्राप्त शिक्षण संस्थानों में अवकाश घोषित किया गया था। मामले में जिला विद्यालय निरीक्षक (DIOS) बुद्ध प्रिया सिंह ने जांच कराने और तथ्यों के आधार पर कार्रवाई करने की बात कही है।
विधान परिषद चुनाव के चलते घोषित था अवकाश
उत्तर प्रदेश विधान परिषद के मेरठ खंड स्नातक एवं मेरठ खंड शिक्षक निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों के द्विवार्षिक चुनाव 2026 के लिए 23 अक्टूबर को मतदान निर्धारित था। इसके मद्देनजर गाजियाबाद के जिलाधिकारी ने नर्सरी से कक्षा 12 तक के विद्यालयों के साथ उच्च शिक्षण संस्थानों और महाविद्यालयों में विशेष अवकाश घोषित किया था।
बताए गए आदेश के अनुसार, अवकाश सरकारी, सहायता प्राप्त और मान्यता प्राप्त शिक्षण संस्थानों पर लागू था। इसमें सीबीएसई और आईसीएसई समेत विभिन्न बोर्डों से संबद्ध विद्यालय भी शामिल थे।
दयावती पब्लिक स्कूल खुलने का मामला सामने आया
जिलाधिकारी के आदेश में शिक्षण संस्थानों को अवकाश का कड़ाई से पालन करने के निर्देश दिए गए थे। इसके बावजूद मोदीनगर स्थित दयावती पब्लिक स्कूल खुलने की जानकारी सामने आने के बाद आदेश के अनुपालन को लेकर सवाल उठ रहे हैं।
हालांकि, स्कूल प्रबंधन ने किस वजह से विद्यालय खोला, यह फिलहाल स्पष्ट नहीं है। इस संबंध में प्रबंधन का पक्ष सामने आने पर मामले की स्थिति और स्पष्ट हो सकती है।
डीआईओएस बोलीं- जांच के बाद होगी कार्रवाई
जिला विद्यालय निरीक्षक बुद्ध प्रिया सिंह ने बताया कि मामले की जांच कराई जाएगी। जांच के दौरान यह पता लगाया जाएगा कि जिलाधिकारी के आदेश के बावजूद विद्यालय किन परिस्थितियों में खोला गया था।
उन्होंने कहा कि जांच में सामने आने वाले तथ्यों के आधार पर नियमानुसार कार्रवाई की जाएगी। फिलहाल शिक्षा विभाग की जांच के निष्कर्ष और स्कूल प्रबंधन के खिलाफ संभावित कार्रवाई का इंतजार है।
जांच के निष्कर्ष पर टिकी नजरें
अब इस मामले में शिक्षा विभाग की जांच अहम होगी। जांच में यदि आदेश का उल्लंघन सामने आता है, तो संबंधित नियमों के अनुसार कार्रवाई की जा सकती है। फिलहाल स्कूल खुलने के कारणों और जिम्मेदारी को लेकर अंतिम निष्कर्ष जांच के बाद ही सामने आएगा।

Modinagar News: A case has emerged in Modinagar, Ghaziabad, where Dayawati Public School reportedly remained open despite a special holiday order issued by the District Magistrate (DM) in view of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council elections. A holiday had been declared for educational institutions across the district on Friday, October 23, 2026, the scheduled polling day. District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) Buddh Priya Singh has said the matter will be investigated and action will be taken based on the findings.
Holiday Declared Due to Legislative Council Elections
Polling for the 2026 biennial elections to the Meerut Graduate and Meerut Teachers’ constituencies of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council was scheduled for October 23.
In view of the polling, the Ghaziabad District Magistrate had declared a special holiday for schools from nursery to Class 12, along with higher educational institutions and colleges.
According to the information provided, the order applied to government, aided and recognised educational institutions affiliated with different boards, including CBSE and ICSE.
Dayawati Public School Reportedly Remained Open
The district administration had directed educational institutions to strictly comply with the holiday order. However, reports that Dayawati Public School in Modinagar was open have raised questions about compliance with the administration’s instructions.
The reason the school reportedly opened despite the holiday order has not yet been established. The school’s management has not provided a position in the information currently available.
DIOS Says Action Will Follow Investigation
District Inspector of Schools Buddh Priya Singh said the matter would be investigated. Officials will examine the circumstances under which the school was opened despite the District Magistrate’s order.
She stated that further action would be taken according to the applicable rules based on the findings of the investigation.

The education department’s inquiry is expected to clarify the circumstances surrounding the school’s reported opening. If a violation of the holiday order is established, action may be taken under the applicable rules.
