झांसी के चिरगांव थाना क्षेत्र में मंदिर दर्शन के लिए जा रही एक थार में अचानक आग लगने से हड़कंप मच गया। चिरगांव-भांडेर रोड पर बेहटा गांव के पास चलती थार में आग लग गई। देखते ही देखते आग ने विकराल रूप ले लिया और पूरी गाड़ी आग की लपटों में घिर गई। हालांकि, वाहन में सवार परिवार के सभी सदस्य समय रहते बाहर निकल गए, जिससे बड़ा हादसा टल गया।
मंदिर दर्शन के लिए जा रहा था परिवार
जानकारी के अनुसार, चिरगांव निवासी रोहित शिवहरे अपने परिवार के साथ मंदिर दर्शन के लिए जा रहे थे। परिवार में कुल चार लोग थार में सवार थे। चिरगांव-भांडेर रोड पर बेहटा गांव के पास अचानक वाहन से धुआं निकलता दिखाई दिया। स्थिति को भांपते हुए परिवार के सभी सदस्य तुरंत वाहन से बाहर निकल गए।
कुछ ही देर में थार में लगी आग तेजी से फैल गई और पूरा वाहन आग की चपेट में आ गया। सड़क पर थार को जलता देखकर आसपास के लोगों और राहगीरों की भीड़ जमा हो गई।
करीब एक घंटे की मशक्कत के बाद आग पर पाया काबू
घटना की जानकारी राहगीरों ने दमकल विभाग को दी। सूचना मिलते ही फायर ब्रिगेड की टीम मौके पर पहुंची और आग बुझाने का काम शुरू किया। दमकल कर्मियों ने करीब एक घंटे की मशक्कत के बाद आग पर काबू पाया।
हालांकि, आग इतनी भीषण थी कि तब तक थार पूरी तरह जलकर क्षतिग्रस्त हो चुकी थी। आग लगने के कारण कुछ समय के लिए चिरगांव-भांडेर रोड पर यातायात भी प्रभावित हुआ।
समय रहते बाहर निकलने से टला बड़ा हादसा
इस हादसे में सबसे राहत की बात यह रही कि वाहन में सवार सभी लोग आग तेजी से फैलने से पहले ही थार से बाहर निकल गए। इससे किसी तरह की जनहानि नहीं हुई।
घटना की सूचना मिलने के बाद चिरगांव पुलिस भी मौके पर पहुंची। थार में आग लगने के वास्तविक कारण की जांच की जा रही है। शुरुआती तौर पर आग लगने की वजह को लेकर अलग-अलग बातें सामने आई हैं, लेकिन आधिकारिक रूप से कारण की पुष्टि जांच के बाद ही स्पष्ट होगी।

A major accident was narrowly avoided in Jhansi’s Chirgaon area after a Thar caught fire while a family was travelling for temple darshan. The incident took place near Behta village on the Chirgaon-Bhander Road, where the vehicle suddenly caught fire and was soon engulfed in flames.
Fortunately, all four people travelling in the vehicle managed to get out in time before the fire spread across the SUV. No casualties were reported in the incident.
Family Was Travelling for Temple Darshan
According to the available information, Chirgaon resident Rohit Shivhare was travelling with his family for temple darshan. Four family members were inside the Thar when they noticed smoke coming from the vehicle near Behta village.
As soon as they realised that the vehicle had caught fire, everyone immediately got out of the Thar. Within a short time, the flames intensified and the entire vehicle was engulfed in fire.
The incident caused panic among people travelling on the road, while several passersby gathered at the spot after seeing the burning vehicle.
Fire Brigade Controlled the Blaze
The incident was reported to the fire department after passersby noticed the vehicle on fire. A fire brigade team reached the spot and began efforts to control the flames.
After nearly an hour of efforts, the firefighters managed to bring the Thar fire under control. However, the vehicle was severely damaged and was reportedly completely burnt in the incident.
Traffic on the Chirgaon-Bhander Road was also affected for some time following the fire.
Family Escapes, Major Tragedy Averted
The timely evacuation of the family helped prevent a potentially serious tragedy. All four occupants managed to leave the vehicle before the fire spread rapidly, and no loss of life was reported.
Chirgaon Police also reached the spot after receiving information about the incident. The exact cause of the Jhansi Thar fire is being investigated. While a short circuit has been mentioned as a possible reason, the exact cause will be clear after the investigation.
