मोदीनगर। त्योहारों के सीजन को देखते हुए खाद्य एवं औषधि प्रशासन विभाग ने मंगलवार को मोदीनगर में मिठाई प्रतिष्ठानों और गोदामों पर छापेमारी की। खाद्य आयुक्त के निर्देशन में चलाए गए अभियान के दौरान अधिकारियों ने कई प्रतिष्ठानों का निरीक्षण किया और खाद्य पदार्थों के नमूने लेकर जांच के लिए भेजे।
राजा स्वीट्स से लिए मिठाई के सैंपल
जिला खाद्य अधिकारी सुरेश मिश्रा के अनुसार खाद्य विभाग की टीम ने मोदी मंदिर के पास स्थित राजा स्वीट्स पर पहुंचकर मिठाइयों के नमूने लिए। टीम ने प्रतिष्ठान में खाद्य पदार्थों की गुणवत्ता, साफ-सफाई और अन्य व्यवस्थाओं का भी निरीक्षण किया।
इसके अलावा राजा स्वीट्स के पास स्थित ना हलवाई की दुकान पर भी विभागीय टीम ने जांच की और खाद्य पदार्थों के नमूने लिए।
सीकरी रोड स्थित गोदाम में मिली अनियमितताएं
खाद्य विभाग की टीम ने नॉर्थ हलवाई के सीकरी रोड स्थित गोदाम का भी निरीक्षण किया। विभाग के अनुसार निरीक्षण के दौरान वहां कुछ अनियमितताएं सामने आईं। टीम ने गोदाम से भी खाद्य पदार्थों के नमूने लिए हैं।
अधिकारियों के मुताबिक, सामने आई अनियमितताओं को लेकर आवश्यक लिखा-पढ़ी की जा रही है। जांच और नमूनों की रिपोर्ट के आधार पर नियमानुसार आगे की कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
त्योहारों तक जारी रहेगा खाद्य जांच अभियान
खाद्य विभाग के अधिकारी आशुतोष राय ने बताया कि नवरात्र, दशहरा और दीपावली जैसे प्रमुख त्योहारों को देखते हुए मिलावटी और घटिया खाद्य पदार्थों की बिक्री रोकने के लिए अभियान आगे भी जारी रहेगा।
उन्होंने कहा कि मिठाई की दुकानों और अन्य खाद्य प्रतिष्ठानों की लगातार जांच की जाएगी। खाद्य सुरक्षा से जुड़े नियमों का उल्लंघन पाए जाने पर संबंधित प्रतिष्ठानों के खिलाफ नियमानुसार कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
खाद्य विभाग की इस कार्रवाई के बाद मोदीनगर के मिठाई कारोबारियों में हलचल बनी रही। अधिकारियों ने स्पष्ट किया कि त्योहारों के दौरान खाद्य पदार्थों की गुणवत्ता और उपभोक्ताओं की सुरक्षा को लेकर जांच अभियान जारी रहेगा।
Food Department Action in Modinagar: Samples Collected From Sweet Shops and Warehouse
Modinagar: Ahead of the festive season, the Food Safety and Drug Administration Department conducted inspections at sweet shops and food warehouses in Modinagar on Tuesday. The inspection drive was carried out under the direction of the Food Commissioner, with officials collecting food samples from several establishments for testing.
Samples Collected From Raja Sweets
District Food Officer Suresh Mishra said the department’s team inspected Raja Sweets near Modi Temple and collected samples of sweets and other food items.
The team also checked the quality of food products, cleanliness and other arrangements at the establishment. An inspection was also carried out at a nearby sweet shop identified as Na Halwai, where food samples were collected.
Irregularities Found at North Halwai Warehouse
The food department team also inspected the North Halwai warehouse on Sikri Road in Modinagar.
According to the department, some irregularities were found during the inspection. Officials collected food samples from the warehouse as well. Necessary documentation regarding the irregularities is being completed, and further action will be taken according to the applicable rules based on the inspection and test findings.
Food Safety Checks to Continue During Festive Season
Food department official Ashutosh Rai said the inspection campaign will continue during the festive season, particularly around Navratri, Dussehra and Diwali, to prevent the sale of adulterated or substandard food products.
He said sweet shops and other food establishments will continue to be inspected, and action will be taken according to food safety regulations if violations are found.
The inspection drive has created concern among sweet shop and food business operators in Modinagar. Officials said the department will continue monitoring food establishments to ensure compliance with food safety standards during the festive season.
