मोदीनगर। भोजपुर थाना क्षेत्र में मेरठ-दिल्ली एक्सप्रेसवे पर ग्राम सोलाना के सामने सोमवार दोपहर सवारियों से भरी एक ईको कार आगे चल रहे ट्रक से पीछे से टकरा गई। हादसे में ईको चालक की मौत हो गई, जबकि कार में सवार छह लोग घायल हो गए। सभी घायलों को उपचार के लिए मेरठ के सुभारती अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है।
काशी टोल प्लाजा पार करने के बाद हुआ हादसा
जानकारी के अनुसार, बिजनौर के नगीना निवासी कफील ईको कार संख्या HR 26 FC 0553 चलाते थे। वह बिजनौर से दिल्ली और गुरुग्राम के लिए सवारियां लेकर जाते थे। सोमवार दोपहर करीब तीन बजे कफील सवारियों को लेकर बिजनौर से दिल्ली की ओर जा रहे थे।
काशी टोल प्लाजा पार करने के बाद ग्राम सोलाना के सामने उनकी ईको कार आगे चल रहे ट्रक संख्या DL 1MB 1873 से पीछे से टकरा गई। टक्कर इतनी तेज थी कि ईको कार में सवार लोगों को गंभीर चोटें आईं।
अस्पताल में चालक को मृत घोषित किया
हादसे की सूचना मिलने के बाद मौके पर पहुंची एंबुलेंस की मदद से घायलों को मेरठ के सुभारती अस्पताल पहुंचाया गया। अस्पताल में डॉक्टरों ने ईको चालक कफील को मृत घोषित कर दिया।
हादसे में मालीवाड़ा, बिजनौर निवासी मोहम्मद दानिश (23) और नावेद (22), नगीना के मनियापाड़ा निवासी मोहम्मद आरिफ (34) और मोहम्मद आमिर (25), करौंदा चौधर निवासी आहद (16) तथा बढ़ापुर के गोपीवाला निवासी मोहम्मद फैज (18) घायल हुए हैं। सभी घायलों का अस्पताल में उपचार चल रहा है।
भोजपुर पुलिस ने शुरू की जांच
हादसे की जानकारी मिलने पर भोजपुर पुलिस और मृतक के परिजन अस्पताल पहुंचे। पुलिस के अनुसार दोनों वाहनों को भोजपुर थाने लाया जा रहा है। हादसे के कारण मेरठ-दिल्ली एक्सप्रेसवे पर यातायात प्रभावित नहीं हुआ।
पुलिस ने बताया कि मामले में अभी कोई तहरीर नहीं मिली है। तहरीर मिलने के बाद आगे की कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
Meerut-Delhi Expressway Accident: Eco Car Crashes Into Truck, Driver Dies; Six Injured
Modinagar: A passenger-packed Eco car collided with a truck on the Meerut-Delhi Expressway near Solana village under the Bhojpur police station area on Monday afternoon. The accident resulted in the death of the Eco car driver, while six passengers were injured. All the injured were admitted to Subharti Hospital in Meerut for treatment.
Accident Took Place Near Solana Village
According to information, Kafeel, a resident of Nagina in Bijnor, was driving Eco car number HR 26 FC 0553. He used to transport passengers from Bijnor to Delhi and Gurugram.
At around 3 pm on Monday, Kafeel was travelling towards Delhi with passengers when the Eco car collided from behind with truck number DL 1MB 1873 near Solana village, after crossing the Kashi Toll Plaza.
The impact was severe, leaving several passengers seriously injured.
Driver Declared Dead at Hospital
After receiving information about the accident, an ambulance reached the spot and took the injured passengers to Subharti Hospital in Meerut. Doctors declared Eco car driver Kafeel dead upon arrival.
The injured have been identified as Mohammad Danish (23) and Naved (22), residents of Maliwada in Bijnor; Mohammad Arif (34) and Mohammad Aamir (25), residents of Maniyapada in Nagina; Aahad (16), a resident of Karonda Chaudhary; and Mohammad Faiz (18), a resident of Gopiwala in Barhpur.
All six injured persons are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Bhojpur Police Investigating the Accident
Following the accident, Bhojpur police and the victim’s family members reached the hospital. Police said both vehicles are being brought to the Bhojpur police station for further investigation.
