मोदीनगर: थाना मोदीनगर क्षेत्र में एक परिवार ने करीब 20-25 युवकों पर घर में घुसकर मारपीट, तोड़फोड़, गाली-गलौज और सोने की चेन छीनने का आरोप लगाया है। पीड़ित परिवार का कहना है कि घटना की सूचना पुलिस को दी गई थी और पुलिस मौके पर भी पहुंची, लेकिन कई दिन बीतने के बावजूद मुकदमा दर्ज नहीं किया गया। हालांकि, मोदीनगर एसीपी सिद्धार्थ गौतम ने बताया कि मामले में मुकदमा पंजीकृत किया जा रहा है और आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
पुरानी कहासुनी के बाद घर पहुंचने का आरोप
पुलिस कमिश्नरेट गाजियाबाद को दी गई शिकायत के अनुसार, पीड़ित परिवार विहार धोबी घाट, मेट्रो पिलर नंबर-1135, मोदीनगर क्षेत्र का रहने वाला है।
पीड़ित के मुताबिक, 30 अगस्त की शाम उसके पिता की सीकरी कलां निवासी एक व्यक्ति से किसी बात को लेकर कहासुनी हो गई थी। बाद में समाज के लोगों ने हस्तक्षेप करते हुए दोनों पक्षों के बीच समझौता करा दिया था।
पीड़ित परिवार का आरोप है कि इसी विवाद और रंजिश के चलते अगले दिन हमला किया गया।
20-25 युवकों के साथ घर पहुंचने का आरोप
शिकायत के अनुसार, 31 अगस्त की रात करीब 8:30 बजे आरोपी करीब 20 से 25 युवकों को मोटरसाइकिलों पर लेकर पीड़ित के घर पहुंचा।
पीड़ित का आरोप है कि सभी युवक लाठी-डंडों और हथियारों से लैस थे। आरोपियों ने कथित तौर पर जबरन घर में प्रवेश किया और पीड़ित तथा उसके भाई के साथ मारपीट शुरू कर दी।
परिवार ने आरोप लगाया कि हमलावरों ने उन्हें जान से मारने की धमकी भी दी।
मारपीट के दौरान सोने की चेन छीनने का आरोप
पीड़ित परिवार के अनुसार, मारपीट के दौरान पीड़ित के भाई के गले से सोने की चेन छीन ली गई।
शिकायत में यह भी आरोप लगाया गया है कि जब पीड़ित की मां ने बीच-बचाव करने की कोशिश की तो उनके साथ भी मारपीट और अभद्र व्यवहार किया गया।
परिवार का आरोप है कि हमलावरों ने घर के अंदर मौजूद सामान में तोड़फोड़ की और आग लगाने की धमकी भी दी।
पुलिस को फोन करने पर मोबाइल छीनने का आरोप
पीड़ित ने शिकायत में बताया कि उसकी मां ने पुलिस को सूचना देने के लिए फोन करने का प्रयास किया था। आरोप है कि इस दौरान हमलावरों ने उनका मोबाइल भी छीन लिया।
इसके बाद परिवार ने 112 नंबर पर पुलिस को सूचना दी।
पीड़ित के मुताबिक, पुलिस के मौके पर पहुंचने से पहले आरोपी वहां से फरार हो गए।
मौके पर दो वाहन छोड़कर फरार हुए आरोपी
परिवार का कहना है कि आरोपी जाते समय अपने दो वाहन मौके पर छोड़ गए। इनमें एक मोटरसाइकिल और एक स्कूटी शामिल थी।
पीड़ित के अनुसार, पुलिस दोनों वाहनों को थाने ले गई। परिवार का आरोप है कि इसके बावजूद मामले में लंबे समय तक कोई प्रभावी कानूनी कार्रवाई नहीं की गई और वे कार्रवाई की मांग को लेकर थाना और चौकी के चक्कर लगाते रहे।
एसीपी बोले- मुकदमा दर्ज कर की जाएगी कार्रवाई
इस मामले में मोदीनगर एसीपी सिद्धार्थ गौतम ने बताया कि मामले में मुकदमा पंजीकृत किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि शिकायत के आधार पर आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
पुलिस मामले से जुड़े आरोपों और घटनाक्रम की जांच कर रही है।
Modinagar: Family Alleges Attack by 20-25 Youths Inside Home, Gold Chain Snatched
Modinagar: A family in the Modinagar police station area has alleged that around 20 to 25 youths entered their house, assaulted family members, vandalised property and snatched a gold chain. The family claimed that despite informing the police and officers visiting the spot, no immediate FIR was registered for several days.
However, Modinagar ACP Siddharth Gautam said that a case is being registered and further legal action will be taken.
Previous Argument Led to Alleged Attack
According to a complaint submitted to the Ghaziabad Police Commissionerate, the complainant lives near Vihar Dhobi Ghat, close to Metro Pillar Number 1135 in the Modinagar area.
The complainant alleged that his father had an argument with a person from Sikri Kalan on the evening of August 30.
According to the family, members of the community later intervened and helped both sides reach a settlement. However, the complainant alleged that the dispute later resulted in the attack on their house.
20-25 Youths Allegedly Arrived on Motorcycles
According to the complaint, at around 8:30 pm on August 31, the accused allegedly arrived at the complainant’s house along with around 20 to 25 youths on motorcycles.
The family alleged that the group was carrying sticks and weapons and forcibly entered the house.
According to the complaint, the youths allegedly assaulted the complainant and his brother and threatened them with serious consequences.
Gold Chain Allegedly Snatched During Assault
The complainant alleged that during the assault, a gold chain was snatched from his brother’s neck.
The family further claimed that when the complainant’s mother tried to intervene and stop the fight, she was also allegedly assaulted and subjected to abusive behaviour.
The attackers were also accused of vandalising household items and threatening to set the house on fire.
Mobile Phone Allegedly Snatched
According to the complaint, the complainant’s mother attempted to call the police during the incident.
The family alleged that the attackers snatched the mobile phone when she tried to seek police assistance.
The family later contacted police through the 112 emergency helpline.
Two Vehicles Allegedly Left at the Spot
According to the complainant, the accused fled after receiving information that police were arriving at the location.
The family claimed that two vehicles, including a motorcycle and a scooter, were left behind at the spot.
Police allegedly took both vehicles to the police station. The complainant claimed that the family continued visiting the police station and police outpost seeking legal action.
ACP Says FIR Being Registered
Responding to the matter, Modinagar ACP Siddharth Gautam said that a case is being registered.
He added that further legal action will be taken in accordance with the investigation and applicable law.
Police are expected to examine the complaint and investigate the allegations related to the alleged assault, vandalism, threats and snatching incident.
