गाजियाबाद: निवाड़ी थाना क्षेत्र के गांव सोने में जोड़ की भूमि को मछली पालन के लिए किराए पर दिए जाने के बाद किसानों की परेशानी बढ़ गई है। किसानों का आरोप है कि जोड़ से पानी की निकासी का रास्ता बंद होने के कारण बारिश का पानी खेतों में भर रहा है। इससे कई किसानों की खड़ी फसलें खराब होने की स्थिति में पहुंच गई हैं।
समस्या के समाधान की मांग को लेकर मंगलवार को बड़ी संख्या में किसानों ने ट्रैक्टर मार्च निकालकर मोदीनगर तहसील पहुंचकर प्रशासन के सामने अपनी समस्या रखी। तहसील पहुंचने के बाद किसानों ने अनिश्चितकालीन धरना शुरू करने का ऐलान किया।
जोड़ से नहर तक पानी की निकासी बंद होने का आरोप
किसानों के अनुसार, गांव में बारिश होने के बाद जोड़ का पानी पहले प्राकृतिक रास्ते से होकर नहर में पहुंच जाता था। इस व्यवस्था के कारण आसपास के खेतों में जलभराव नहीं होता था।
किसानों का आरोप है कि जोड़ की भूमि को मछली पालन के लिए किराए पर दिए जाने के बाद पानी की निकासी के लिए इस्तेमाल होने वाला रास्ता रोक दिया गया है। रास्ता बंद होने के कारण बारिश का पानी खेतों में जमा हो रहा है।
किसानों का कहना है कि खेतों में लंबे समय तक पानी भरा रहने से खड़ी फसलों को भारी नुकसान हो रहा है। उनका कहना है कि यदि जल्द पानी की निकासी नहीं कराई गई तो नुकसान और बढ़ सकता है।
मोदीनगर तहसील पहुंचे बड़ी संख्या में किसान
जलभराव की समस्या को लेकर किसानों ने मंगलवार को ट्रैक्टर मार्च निकाला। बड़ी संख्या में किसान ट्रैक्टर लेकर मोदीनगर तहसील पहुंचे और प्रशासन से समस्या का तत्काल समाधान कराने की मांग की।
तहसील परिसर में पहुंचने के बाद किसानों ने अनिश्चितकालीन धरने का ऐलान किया। किसानों ने कहा कि जब तक जोड़ से पानी की निकासी कर उसे दोबारा नहर तक पहुंचाने की व्यवस्था नहीं की जाती, तब तक उनका धरना जारी रहेगा।
किसानों ने दी आंदोलन बढ़ाने की चेतावनी
धरने पर बैठे किसानों ने प्रशासन से जोड़ से नहर तक पानी जाने वाले रास्ते को खुलवाने की मांग की है। इसके साथ ही खेतों से जलभराव खत्म कराने और पानी के कारण खराब हुई फसलों का सर्वे कराकर उचित मुआवजा दिलाने की मांग भी उठाई गई।
किसानों ने चेतावनी दी कि यदि समय रहते जलभराव की समस्या का समाधान नहीं किया गया तो आंदोलन को और बड़ा किया जाएगा।
किसानों का कहना है कि यह समस्या केवल एक-दो किसानों तक सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि गांव के कई किसान इससे प्रभावित हैं।

ट्रैक्टर मार्च और धरने में जिला अध्यक्ष विनीत त्यागी, सुदेश कुमार, गुड्डू पंडित, सुनील चौधरी, इरशाद, शाहनवाज खान, कालू चाचा, चेतन त्यागी, मोहित त्यागी, अंकुर त्यागी, तहसील अध्यक्ष निशांत त्यागी, अनिल त्यागी, सोनू, मुरादनगर से फिरोज खान, नदीम, इरफान, उदय और मनोज समेत बड़ी संख्या में किसान मौजूद रहे।
किसानों ने दोहराया कि जब तक जोड़ से पानी की निकासी की समस्या का समाधान नहीं होता और खेतों में जमा पानी की व्यवस्था नहीं की जाती, तब तक उनका अनिश्चितकालीन धरना जारी रहेगा।
Ghaziabad Farmers Hold Tractor March Over Waterlogging, Begin Indefinite Protest at Modinagar Tehsil
Ghaziabad: Farmers in Sone village under Niwari police station area of Ghaziabad are facing problems due to waterlogging in their agricultural fields. Farmers allege that the drainage route from a local pond, which was previously used to carry water into a canal, has been blocked after the pond land was leased for fish farming.
According to the farmers, the blockage has caused rainwater to accumulate in nearby agricultural fields, damaging standing crops and creating prolonged waterlogging.
Farmers Allege Drainage Route to Canal Was Blocked
Farmers said that earlier, rainwater from the pond used to flow through a natural drainage route and eventually reach the canal. This helped prevent water from accumulating in the surrounding fields.
However, farmers allege that the route through which the pond water reached the canal has now been blocked. As a result, rainwater is accumulating in agricultural fields.
The farmers claim that prolonged waterlogging is damaging their standing crops and could cause further losses if the water is not drained soon.
Tractor March Reaches Modinagar Tehsil
To demand an immediate solution, a large number of farmers took out a tractor march on Tuesday and reached Modinagar Tehsil. The farmers raised the waterlogging issue before the administration and demanded immediate action.
After reaching the tehsil premises, the farmers announced an indefinite protest.
The protesting farmers said they would not leave the tehsil until proper arrangements are made to drain the water from the pond and restore its route to the canal.
Farmers Demand Water Drainage and Crop Compensation
The farmers have demanded that the administration reopen the drainage route connecting the pond to the canal and remove waterlogging from the affected agricultural fields.
They have also demanded a survey of crops damaged due to waterlogging and appropriate compensation for the affected farmers.
The farmers warned that if the administration fails to resolve the issue in time, they may expand their protest.
According to the farmers, the problem is affecting several farmers in the village and is not limited to one or two individuals.

Those present during the tractor march and protest included district president Vineet Tyagi, Sudesh Kumar, Guddu Pandit, Sunil Chaudhary, Irshad, Shahnawaz Khan, Kalu Chacha, Chetan Tyagi, Mohit Tyagi, Ankur Tyagi, tehsil president Nishant Tyagi, Anil Tyagi, Sonu, and Firoz Khan, Nadeem, Irfan, Uday and Manoj from Muradnagar, along with a large number of other farmers.
