गाजियाबाद के भोजपुर थाना क्षेत्र स्थित गांव भोजपुर में लगातार हो रही बारिश एक गरीब दिव्यांग दंपति के लिए बड़ी मुसीबत बन गई। गुरुवार को हुई तेज बारिश के दौरान उनका जर्जर मकान अचानक भरभराकर गिर गया। राहत की बात यह रही कि हादसे के समय घर में मौजूद परिवार के सदस्य सुरक्षित बच गए और किसी प्रकार की जनहानि नहीं हुई।
लगातार बारिश बनी हादसे की वजह
जानकारी के अनुसार, कई दिनों से हो रही लगातार बारिश के कारण मकान की छत कमजोर हो गई थी। गुरुवार को तेज बारिश के दौरान अचानक पूरी छत गिर गई, जिससे घर में रखा घरेलू सामान भी क्षतिग्रस्त हो गया। मकान अब रहने योग्य नहीं बचा है।
दोनों पति-पत्नी हैं दिव्यांग
पीड़ित परिवार की आर्थिक स्थिति बेहद कमजोर बताई जा रही है। परिवार में रहने वाले पति और पत्नी दोनों दिव्यांग हैं और सीमित संसाधनों के सहारे अपना जीवनयापन कर रहे हैं। ऐसे में मकान गिरने के बाद उनके सामने रहने और रोजमर्रा की जरूरतों को पूरा करने का संकट खड़ा हो गया है।
प्रशासन से लगाई आर्थिक सहायता की गुहार
मकान ढहने के बाद दिव्यांग दंपति ने प्रशासन से आर्थिक सहायता, राहत सामग्री और सुरक्षित रहने की व्यवस्था उपलब्ध कराने की मांग की है। उनका कहना है कि उनकी आर्थिक स्थिति इतनी मजबूत नहीं है कि वे स्वयं मकान की मरम्मत या पुनर्निर्माण करा सकें।
ग्रामीणों ने भी की तत्काल मदद की मांग
ग्रामीणों ने भी पीड़ित परिवार के समर्थन में प्रशासन से जल्द राहत उपलब्ध कराने की अपील की है। उनका कहना है कि बरसात का मौसम अभी जारी है और क्षतिग्रस्त मकान के आसपास रहना भी जोखिम भरा है। ऐसे में प्रशासन को तत्काल राहत सामग्री, आर्थिक सहायता और सरकारी आवास योजना के तहत सहायता उपलब्ध करानी चाहिए।
फिलहाल पड़ोसियों के सहारे गुजर रहा समय
मकान गिरने के बाद दिव्यांग दंपति फिलहाल पड़ोसियों की मदद से अपना समय बिता रहे हैं। ग्रामीणों को उम्मीद है कि प्रशासन जल्द मौके का निरीक्षण कर आवश्यक कार्रवाई करेगा और प्रभावित परिवार को सुरक्षित आवास एवं आर्थिक सहायता उपलब्ध कराएगा।

Continuous rainfall in Bhojpur village under Ghaziabad’s Bhojpur police station area has left a poor disabled couple homeless after their dilapidated house collapsed on Thursday. Fortunately, the family escaped unharmed, and no casualties were reported.
Heavy Rain Triggered the Collapse
According to local residents, the house had become structurally weak due to continuous rainfall over the past several days. During Thursday’s heavy downpour, the roof suddenly collapsed, damaging household belongings and leaving the house unfit for habitation.
Both Husband and Wife Are Disabled
The affected family is reportedly living in extreme financial hardship. Both the husband and wife are persons with disabilities and rely on limited resources for their livelihood. The collapse of their home has created a serious shelter crisis for the couple.
Couple Appeals for Financial Assistance
Following the incident, the disabled couple appealed to the local administration for immediate financial assistance, relief materials, and temporary accommodation. They stated that they cannot afford to repair or rebuild the damaged house on their own due to their poor financial condition.
Villagers Demand Immediate Relief
Local residents have also urged the administration to provide immediate assistance to the affected family. They emphasized that the ongoing monsoon season makes it unsafe for the couple to remain near the damaged structure and requested support under government housing and welfare schemes.
Currently Living with Neighbour’s Support
At present, the couple is taking shelter with the help of nearby residents. Villagers hope that the district administration will inspect the site promptly and provide financial relief, safe accommodation, and rehabilitation support so the family can resume a secure and normal life.
